Absolutely exhausted sightreads! Here we gooooo! http://i.imgur.com/QImYnvp.png Both of these songs have the same thing going on - I know the songs extremely well, and therefore it is not too bad figuring out where to put my fingers on the fly, even though I've never played them on guitar before. Stadium Arcadium is my favourite RHCP album of all time, and this song is a zenith showing of their sound. John Frusciante is a god and this song feels holy to play. http://i.imgur.com/Ngqau96.png And speaking of gods! Love me some Slash. What a great week. This song is surprisingly not as hard as I thought it'd be (most of the time). There are some pretty quick melodies that will take some learning, but a lot of these riffs I could just do off the bat. I would say this might not even be a true 10? Sure, there's a couple more solos than the typical MC tune, but at no point in this song do I feel the GoG hopelessness, those moments where my brain can't even hold all the notes. That never really happens in this song. I don't get lost in Paradise City. I'll post about my pick later! Let's just say I'm pretty familiar with it. A night's rest, then back at it!

Newly cut fingernail (you really need to use your fingertips to not mute the open notes in between) and some more focus while playing and i manage to improve my 162 week old score. It's another anime theme song pick by Gamut! Anime theme songs are a great place to find quality guitar wankery. http://i.imgur.com/dR0c09W.png Colors is SUPER CATCHY. I love those trumpets. I initially thought this was an MC pick. It looks kind of intimidating at first - until you realise that the guitarist is just doing the same chord progression over and over again with small variations. This song gets a lot easier once you slow it down in RR and process it. As you can see, I've played it a couple of times before this week, but it's always been a pleasure play and never a song I've put serious effort into learning. Now I have an excuse to! *tryhard face*

Kashmir is the first song i played in intermediate. Back in week 21. Ended up at 95.57 back then.
