  1. Hi all! Never competed in this before, been tempted but always found an excuse for some reason. Been lurking on customsforge for about a year and a half and finally decided to try. I figured I would jump in and start with Advanced, just to see. Might try the next class. http://i.imgur.com/JbY2eR2.png

  2. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=810387279 Updated INT RHY to 99.12% longest streak 305 and 1,075,289 score. Not good enough to beat Telboy or Vodka, but still an improvement.

  3. Hi, folks. The latest hotfix (12-1-2016) is in the first post. Changes are as follows: *Fixed bugs with RS import that prevented slides for chords from being correctly imported. *Fixed bugs with GP import's handling of time signatures when the imported file's measures have to be unwrapped (uses repeats, navigation symbols, alternate endings, etc). *Added a fifth pro guitar track "PART REAL_GUITAR_BONUS", allowing one EOF project to contain all five arrangements that Rocksmith 2014 Remastered can support for a song. *Fixed a bug where the tech view populated status "(*)" wasn't correctly cleared when the erase track function is used. Projects that are saved with any regular or tech notes in the bonus track are not compatible with older versions of EOF, which will crash when trying to open them. New or existing projects that have an empty bonus track when saved should continue to be usable with older versions.

  13. OK, so there's some mixed news on that. I've just about finished the changes for a fifth pro guitar track, but this completely breaks the project file compatibility with older versions of EOF 1.8 (EOF will crash). This won't be a problem for most people, just get the new EOF and don't worry about it, but the Mac users will have trouble sharing project files with others because I don't have the ability to build for Mac and can't post updates very often unless other people build it for us. Do you guys think that should be a major roadblock, provided it is mentioned in the EOF thread? Edit: I might be able to have EOF write a backwards compatible project file if the bonus track is empty (no notes) during save. This might be the best workaround I can provide.

  17. Having a fifth pro guitar arrangement probably wouldn't be very hard to do. I'll look into it.

  19. @@fripponomic You must have grounded PC and have active dibox (or passive+buster) where ground lift on. Look schematic in bottom. There ground of guitar (and pedals) connected to Out (RS cable) via transformer, and "ground" noise signal cancelled (same principle work pickup "humbaсker"). I use Out for RS cable+ buster with a separate power supply. First In for guitar, second In use as out for amp (pedals)

  24. OBJECTION @@JokerTheAnarchist hey guysThis is my best score on MC bass with an actual bass, after some work in riff repeater and more than 15 tries on score attack, trying both fingerstyle and with a pick. http://i67.tinypic.com/2hd7hmq.jpg And this is my best score with emulated bass, with less than 5 tries... http://i68.tinypic.com/6pahli.jpg don't trust the play count, I practiced first on bass then on guitar and then on bass again, and made a lot of incomplete plays And I'm a shitty guitar player, I never practice, and feel really uncomfortable when playing guitar. So yeah, of course for you talented MC lead guys any MC bass song is a piece of cake if you play it on emulated bass...but playing bass is not playing guitar with an octave pedal that tunes you an octave lower. Bass is WAY harder than this because of bigger strings, more force required, harder string muting, etc. "MC Bass" is not "MC lead but without playing chords and solos" I'll always get better scores on emulated bass than on real bass. - Not even mentioning the fact that most of (if not all of) my misses on this song are notes that I actually played right, but got misses because of shitty recognition system and my bass not supporting dropped tunings -So it's like doping in sports competitions. If I only wanted to make the best scores I can, I'd just tryhard on guitar and stop playing bass on rocksmith. Sorry if I take things too seriously, but come on, let us have some fun, don't accept scores from emulated bass. Hope other bass guys agree with me ! have a good evening ;)

  25. Hi, folks. The latest hotfix (11-23-2016) is in the first post. Changes are as follows: *Fixed a bug with the previous commit that would cause fret values to be incorrectly set to 0 when transposing pro guitar notes up or down. *Improved RS exports to filter out non-printable characters if any happen to have imported into song properties from an MP3 or Rocksmith file. *Improved the new chart wizard to filter out non-printable and extended ASCII characters from an MP3 file's ID3 tag.
