Nice active bassline - maybe a bit of a stretch for beginner level:

@SlickWilly does a great job charting bass and I enjoy playing Marillion stuff:

This is a great example of a challenging song that's still really fun to play. Looking forward to listening to the whole new album:

 

Hi! I'm new to the championship (not to Customsforge, I'm appreciating CLDCs for years now, but never saw the competition!)

So, I've read the rules, and missed the first week because I was trying to get better at Poppin Party - Initial (so fun song to play btw never expected it) and got out of the deadline.

This week, I want to participate in the Lead Masterclass so here's my actual score (I hope to update it with better % later in the week 😉 ).

I'm playing also Kayleigh lead, but I need to avoid posting that score right?

Welcome! It's nice that you joined the championship. When it comes to classes you can compete in one, but of course you can post scores from all classes songs (as you can see above, a lot of people do). We do it just for fun, because we like 😉

Lead beginner - Love Muse, looking forward to the new album and stadium tour next year hopefully, but of the two songs released so far prefer won't back down over this one.

Inter Rhythm - Not heard this song or band before; really like it.  Guess I like 80's rock power ballad's now!

my fingers are to thick for the chords on high frets and missing very often 😉

Slight improvement. I've had next to no time to play bass for the past month

Again very busy week, with the submission time being when im asleep and a gig coming up, i didnt get as much of a last jam as i wanted but anyway...

Given the stuff around i keep having uploading, im just going to upload my rocksmith score pics into a drive folder for proof, and post my scores via text.

Scores:

Sabaton - Rhythm - 93.4% (DD)

Escape Velocity - Lead - 94.74% (Score)

The Blackening (Full Album) - Rhythm - 46.1% (not bad for my first and only run so far tbh)

Heaven and Hell (Full Album) - Bass - 94.3%

 

Unfortunately, the only one I don't have the actual DD screen for is Muses' Compliance on Bass, which is ironically the only challenge tier I'm consistently trying to competing in - call it ADHD tax. Anyway, i only have the Score Attack score for Bass there, it was 92% but if it needs screenshot evidence i am happy to be marked off for this week.

Ah well. Time to go watch some real music live and hope i dont cop the 'rona. Have a great weekend yall, happy playing

 

 

 

updated rhythm for Sabaton! (I think it's a 5 or 5.5 because there is a speedy part but it's very short and the rest are power chords - can't put it at the same level of kayleigh lead)

and just for more fun I did also Kayleigh (beautiful clean harmonies). Confirm the 6.5 or maybe 7, because doing it perfectly means be very rapid on passing notes between chords

 

I'm planning to post the new week in about 30 minutes - so get you final scores in!
