hello ladies and gentleman i have a problem about add original id songs i found some songs in customsforge, especially metallica, i downloaded and i installed rscustom programme. i chose one song and rscustom programme said song id is successful then, i copied it song in C:// program filesx86/steam/steamapps/common/rocksmit2014/dlc i copied but i cannot see when i opened game. who will help me :) i know its easy but, i am human, i missing something :)

hi, i saw/found that there is a way to make CDLC playlists by cozy1cgi: https://sites.google.com/site/cozy1cgi/tutorial-6 there are many steps to do it and it is a bit hard to me to understand everything by words... i wanted to ask,can some someone make and upload video on YouTube (tutorial) how to do it and also post it here please ? thanks.

It should be good to have a way to search the CDLCs with a new search criterion based on the sync quality. For me, it's very important to have songs in which : - the notes are in sync with the measures and beats (the rhythm of the song) - the notes are in sync with the soundtrack This criterion should be set by a few volunteers (CDLC's testers). What do you think about this proposal ?

Is there a program to rename my CDLC for me? When I download CDLC i open the Page for the song and rename it as: Avenged Sevenfold - I Won't See You Tonight (Part 01) (Drop D) (Lead, Rhythm) (RR) (DD) (CT) (v1.0)_p (The Instruments are only typed out if there are only 2, if there are 3+ then i just do the first letter of each, LRBV, Etc) I also often put the suggested notes after the version number as well. Because of this, it takes a long time to download files, my Firefox, currently has roughly 392 Tabs open all of songs I want to get, but haven't had time, as it takes so long due to the renaming of them. But in general I try to spend a couple hours every few days downloading them. If there was a program to read the cdlc and name them for me based on what the song actually had, that would be great, even make it customizable so people could name them how they want too. Maybe even organize them would be nice \dlc\artist\album\ or something. I did find a file renamer program by: Darrken, from a link on: Cozy1's Tutorial page. But when I ran it, the output was: Avenged Sevenfold - I wont see you tonight Part 1 - v1.0_p So clearly that won't work for what i'm looking for. is there anything like that available? or would anyone be willing to make something like that?

I've searched for variations of terminology and have not found a post similar to what I'm about to ask - apologies if it has been covered already. I've noticed that some CDLC has an inconsistent note highway speed. It surges forward as the notes pass the strings. The issue is intensified, in some cases, when lots of fretting is going on. Other CDLC does not seem to have this issue and the original content also does not do this. Is this just a result of poor authoring, or is there something I can adjust on my system (Steam) to compensate for some sort of lag?

It shows up in the list of songs and looks like any other song with the album picture and the music playing. It allows me to tune the guitar to start playing it. When I try to play through the whole song, there is no noise except the audience and there is no scrolling. If I go into riff repeater and go to different sections, I can sometimes see notes but they are greyed out. If they aren't greyed out and I try to press space bar and play, no scrolling happens for several seconds and there is no noise but then it starts rapidly scrolling through all the notes and making a noise like it's skipping. I tried playing my song in Score Attack on Hard. It did no scrolling and after a few seconds gave me a gold pick for not missing any of the notes that it didn't give me. When I created the psarc it gave me a warning saying there was no preview. I created it with the preview though (The file I selected in Custom Song Creator ends in _preview_04E340D8.wem). I went ahead and created it anyways without trying to fix the issue. -

I have had Rocksmith (2014) for a while now and everything was working fine. I had successfully downloaded many CDLC's and was able to run them perfectly fine. But recently, when i tried to get some more CDLC's, none of them work. I followed the instructions as shown in this video The CDLC's i downloaded before are still working fine, but none of the new ones show up. The last time it worked was about a month ago. Does anyone know what might be the problem? Has anyone had the same problem? Please Help :( Thanks :D

I imagine this question's been asked a few times but in the hope of progress.. Has anyone created custom songs for 5 String Bass? Gutted I can't use the low B in game. Songs from artists like Jamiroquai would benefit in a big way! Has anyone managed to trick the game into showing 5 strings on the note highway? I'm sure someone in this talented community has worked something out?!

So ive gotten passed my problem with the xml, now i need different arrangement tunings.. i looked at another topic with a similiar problem in this forum but it didn't help. I need my lead to be a custom tuning, rhythm Drop D tuning, and bass Drop D, when i set lead to a custom tuning it sets all my arrangements (even bass) as custom tuning. I need it specifically for lead but i don't know how this works. I've gone to EOF already and changed each tuning to what i wanted them to be but it doesn't make any difference. Really need some help

Hey all- I have been playing RS1/RS2014 for a few years now. It has helped to increase speed with scales, chord changes, and tempo. It has helped to replace a metronome while learning songs. I had reached a plateau on the game for a while, but then found cdlc. I am now armed with a nice collection of every song that ive ever wanted to play! (thanks charters!) I am having issues though. RS2014 is running on a Macbook pro (mid 2010). I have (tediously) examined every downloaded CDLC to make sure all tracks load properly. All tracks were grouped alphabetically and then loaded into the dlc/ folder by chunks. So i would test A-F, before testing the G-L group. Then I would proceed to M-O, etc. I have removed all tracks that would not show the guitar neck or note highway. I thought this process would fix the loading issues (post tuning), but it has not. When all songs are loaded into the dlc directory, rocksmith semi-freezes, with only the speaker cabinets animating when the guitar is used. Anytime the dlc directory is populated with over 300 songs at any given time, all tracks seem to freeze in this same way. Is it possible that two tracks are conflicting and causing ALL songs to load improperly? I have checked for duplicates, and only found the same titles (in different formats, _m/_p) from purchased dlcs (about 40 or so). I also have Cherub, purchased songs, and the rs1 compatibility files in the dlc/ directory. Is there a limit to how many tracks can be loaded into the dlc/ directory at the same time on a mac? In the past week, i have upgraded the Apple's memory to 8GB, replaced the HDD for a SSD, and have upgraded the OS to the current Yosemite beta. Looking into mem/top,etc, the system looks to be running as expected. Any help is appreciated. thanks,

Hello everyone! Let me start by introducing myself! My name is Stuart, or the BiffyBoffin, or Florentino, or whatever takes your fancy, really I don't mind! :P It is my plan to create CDLC for every song in Biffy's first 3 albums. That is Blackened Sky, The Vertigo of Bliss and Infinty Land. Not sure if i'll do them in order as I have already 1 completed from V.o.B and 1 from Blackened Sky. We'll seeeeee. You may have heard of the mighty Biff but not of these albums, if so, please check them out! They are all monumental! (Or perhaps Semi-Mental). This is my tribute to my favourite band in the whole (child ago) wide world, and it may take a while, because these albums are pretty complex guitar ways. Anyways, that's my introduction, hope to meet some fellow Biffy fans here to share this experience!! TO BE CONTINUED...

Hey I'm busy making a new CDLC, I generated a DDC to test it. Made a DDC with 5 levels. But in the last part of the song the DDC only give me 2 levels instead of 5. I also tried to add more levels but its always the same part of the song that only gives 2 levels (it a very low purple bar in RS. I tried to repack it, reimport in EOF, double and half the BPM but it just stays the same. Anyone also has this problem? -
No matter how hard I search, I just cannot find a great walkthrough for getting the CDLC to my Xbox 360. First off, do you really need to mod your Xbox in order to do it? Second off, can someone please give me a step-by-step walkthrough on how to do it? Thanks.

I was a member over at Smithy's for a while, just returning. I've installed the D3d file, have the most recent RS toolkit and have converted the app_id to a song I own (basketcase). The songs I d/led are visible in RS14, but when I try to play them the game hangs at the speaker screen. The note highway doesn't appear, nothing happens and I have to Alt-F4 out of the game. Platform - PC Win8.1 App_Id used: Greenday - Basketcase Ingame and officical dlc playable?: Yes CDLC downloaded and tried: Ugly Kid Joe - Everything About You and Cats in the Cradle, White Zombie - Black Sunshine, Twisted Sister - I Wanna Rock Path: Bass Is there something that anyone suggest I try to fix the issue?

Alright Customsforge. You're a great community that always gave me help and a lot of DLC to practice. I want to give something in return. We all know that running CDLCs on PS 3 is a bit of a hazel and its easier to play them on PC. No videos out there explain it properly on how to do them. Yet I found out how to make them run on PS3 that works legit . (But you need a Jailbroken PS3!!!!) Just wanted to know out of curiosty how many would like me to make a Video on how to run CDLC on PS3 ? Greetz xXFROSTXx

Yeah, yeah, I know, banjos aren't Rock, but technically a banjo tuning could be accomplished, and with an acoustic pickup, it might work. Anyone else think of this, or other possible instruments? Thoughts?
