It still wouldn't work for me when i tried hence why i did the above.

Re posting this in here as it worked for me...... I am guessing that the issue may be a DNS related as i have just fixed it my end by doing the following..... Close any open web browser first In the run/cortana box type cmd . as you type you will see something like this http://i1379.photobucket.com/albums/ah142/Doug_N_Shaz_Brooks/CMD_Ink_LI_zpsawfmyes7.jpg Right click it and choose run as administrator instead. next type in the following with no gaps and hit enter ipconfig/flushdns http://i1379.photobucket.com/albums/ah142/Doug_N_Shaz_Brooks/ipconfig_Ink_LI_zpseppqwyar.jpg Then i just tried it again, it took a while to re populate/fill (best way to describe it) the DNS Cache and it started working again. i have tried it on both firefox and Chrome . Microsoft Edge it is stuck in a log in loop when i click on the Ignition tab. Give it a go i hope it helps . If you are not techy download the images to help guide you so you can close your browser and still know what to try. Flushing your DNS will do your pc no harm it is recommended when some website have issues and they have to change IP etc their end

Have you purchased Cherub Rock by the Smashing Pumpkins and added the .DLL to the game folder (See here) if you have then we will need more info what is the rest of your pc spec? CPU Ram hard disc (include% free space) Graphics card please include - (driver version) Power supply- make and wattage (the make tends to be more important that wattage) If the pc is not custom do you have a link

I have not used the 5 instrument fix as that was not in their the last time i ran it (cool addition) as the new remastered will only support 5 instruments including vocals (lyrics) so as some charters included both DD and NON DD arrangements and lyrics in their customs this will break rocksmith and cause it to crash due to having up to 7 arrangements lead x2 bass x2 and rhythm x2 then the lyrics . It appears we now have the option to remove a given path for ourselves without having to unpack them. I would opt to remove the NDD ones myself as we can now turn off DD in the game. Hope this helps.

CFSM creates backup of all the songs it works on and places them in the rocksmith installation folder (not the dlc one) Steam\steamapps\common\Rocksmith2014\backup\remastered Inside the above folder you will find two sub folders one called corrupt the other original. The toolkit backs up all the songs before doing anything else with them, then it has a go at fixing them, the ones it can't fix due to corruption it places in the corrupt folder, the ones it can gets copied back in the original dlc folder; the backup folder remains so that you can restore them should you wish to. The point being you will not lose anything as any that it perceives to be corrupt you can fish out of the backup folder and test them for yourself.

I really don't understand why you wouldn't have done something sooner 2 years is a stupid amount of time to just do nothing. I had it happen to me a few years ago i contacted steam support and they dealt with it very quickly. I then implemented the 2 step verification with my mobile and it has stopped a few repeat attempts already.

The best way for vocals is with ultrastar creator (free) , you basically paste the lyrics in text form into the window then play the song, you then hit the spacebar in time with the words as you hear them in the song. when you are done you will have a file you can then import into your project. Edit I doubt anyone else will be able to get the timing spot on for you a you are changing the the way it is played. the original lyrics can be found here http://www.lyricsmode.com/lyrics/s/school_of_rock/the_song.html copy those into ultrasar and you will be golden.

just incase you are not aware the we cant use a younger version of WWise than v2015.1.9 due to compatibility issues , found that out the hard way :)

I took the opportunity to pick up about a few myself in the Christmas sales. In fact I was able to replace some cdlc's for odlc's on some of the older ones :) not that there was anything wrong with them it is just nice to be able to support the artists. my collection grew with the following ones Dio - holy diver Imagine Dragons - Radio active Poison - every rose has its thorns Queensrÿche pack Warrant - Cherry Pie Def leppard - Hysteria Def leppard - Rock of ages Extreme - More Than WordsSoundgarden - Song Pack My Chemical Romance Song Pack II Linkin Park - Song Pack Alter Bridge - Song PackSkillet - Song Pack I then used the song manager to sort for duplicates so I could remove the correct ones :)

Welcome back Maveth and a happy new year to you :) I can't really comment on what has changed as i was pretty much just a lurker back in the day, also missed out on being a day one donator by a day ha ha. As I have recently started to make customs myself i find the tools are and process is fairly straightforward at least for bass anyway, I also know that if i get stuck the guys n gals here are always more than happy to lend a hand.

I think i have only played it the once but that was because i payed for it not that i actually wanted it . Then it was a case of *ooo shiny* then proceeded to fill dlc folder with hundreds/nay thousands of customs :)

I have never heard of a drop tuning pedal , i went down the route of more bass guitars (lets face it you can never have too many) all for different tunings one of which is a five string for the ultra low tuned songs are tuned to A and B. Besides they look well cool on the wall anyway and one on its own would get lonely ha ha

I have addblock plus installed on Chrome but have had for a long time and never had any issues before
