  1. Just bought it, it's pretty much the same as I remember it. Drum pedal sucks like always, but I'll bust out my frankenstein pedal and see if that clears things up. So much DLC to buy...
  2. Thanks again. Not sure if it's the same problem, but pressing H can also delete some notes when saving.
  3. Don't forget to buy Cherub Rock. http://customsforge.com/topic/901-how-to-use-custom-dlcs-in-rs2014/
  4. If they are chords (not single notes) you can show sustain tails by clicking on the chord, pressing the N key, and checking the SUSTAIN box.
  5. Yeah, forward would be especially cool.
  6. Found a way to reproduce it. Create a note Press h Mouse scroll down
  7. New tech note that lets you override the handshape? Fill out chord and fingerings using tech note. Start and Stop time set by length of tech note? Is this something that would work?
  8. Not exactly, rather be able to author several different low density chords that use the same chord ID in a NEW handshape for each chord. If it's only one handshape written all chords inside (after the start time) will be repeat lines. Even if the high density tag is set to 0.
  9. Just tested. If the chord inside the handshape is written in the CHORDTIME area of the xml, it will display as a repeat line. If the chord is written in both CHORDNOTETIME and NOTETIME area, it will be a repeat line (which is half height, not what he was looking for) with notes that spin as they come down the highway (also not what he was looking for).
  10. Lemme try something out and I'll post what happens.
  11. I think it would be best to leave arpeggios (purple lane stuff) as they are. As for handshapes (blue lane stuff) any chords written within a handshape (AFTER the start time) show up as a repeat pane. That's why the chords were written as single notes at the same time. The above example bypasses this by starting a new (same) handshape. Heart shaped box (on disk song) has some examples. Is there a way to extract xml from on disk songs so we can see what they did?
  12. Is this what you want? http://i.imgur.com/g4MxoDk.gif If so, at the end of the XML there is a handshape section. Change the handshape chord id numbers to match the first chord.
  13. In addition to EOF, If you need help hearing the guitar part over everything else: Audacity (free) has a nice feature under the effects tab called Vocal Remover. With some songs (not all, depends on how the song was mixed) it gets rid of the vocals so you can hear the guitar part. When vocal remover doesn't work you can get rid of the bass by using a high pass filter set to around 500Hz. You can get rid of the cymbal crashes with low pass filter set to around 5,000Hz.
  14. FYI, if you are creating the wwise file yourself, the newest test build of the toolkit will do it for you.
  15. Download the latest test build of the toolkit. http://www.rscustom.net/builds It will turn the wav file into a wem for you. Less chance of things messing up if the toolkit does the work.
  16. Did you create the wem file yourself through WWISE, or did you let the toolkit create it for you?
  17. To get rid of the COUNT error, give yourself several seconds of leading silence. Push the offset back 4 times so you get a 4 beat count in (or do 3 if the song is in 3/4).
  18. Also, there was 1 error message in EOF: No fret hand positions were defined. This isn't a game breaker cause EOF will do it for you after you save. But it's a good idea to do it yourself by pressing CTRL+SHIFT+F -> generate. This way you can see the hand positions on the chart and adjust them to your liking.
  19. Repacked and it didn't work. Unpacked everything and redid the WEM conversion and then the file worked. (using beta toolkit -0b75eabf) In case you didn't know, the latest toolkit will run Wwise for you, no need to convert from wav to wem yourself anymore. Try deleting your WEM files and let the toolkit do the conversion.
