  1. Hey man thank you for the Clutch songs you have done! This is my first CDLC Sea of Destruction Let me know what you think. Are there other Clutch songs you are working on?
  2. Bingo! Exactly what I was looking for and it was right in the main directory. Doh! Thank you! :)
  3. Is there a list of all the keyboard shortcuts in EoF? The manual lists them throughout but I could not find a single page I could print out and put next to my keyboard. Reminds me of all the shortcuts I had for Autocad a long time ago. Cheers
  4. Yes! I figured it out by installing the 2015.1.9 build 5624 then it worked. Stupid Wwise. I want 2 hours of my life back!
  5. Ok now I am trying to recompile the .psarc. I installed WWise 2016.2.1.5995 and am fairly sure I have it pointing to the right directory C:\Program Files (x86)\Audiokinetic\Wwise 2016.2.1.5995\Authoring\x64\Release\bin But i get an error stating that Wwise will not run. I am really hoping once I get this all running it is fluid. Argh. Thank you for your help. When running generate it tries to open oggcut.exe and oggdec.exe with no luck.
  6. Ok how do I do a slide. I don't see anything in the help. Man this UI is painful. Also I can't figure out to copy and past a sequence of notes. I use ctrl+click and it does not seem to select multiple for copying.
  7. Thank you! I was getting stumped with finding the notes and getting the audio in. That did the trick. Now off to editing. I am sure I will have more questions on how to convert it back. Thanks again!
  8. Is there a tutorial on how to open up a CDLC in EOF after I have unpacked it with the RS toolkit? I have loaded the XML file of the song but get nothing. Thanks.
  9. Thank you for the responses. I downloaded EOF and ran through the tutorial that came with it but still don't see how to get notes located in a tab like format. I am missing something. There are only 5 lines and the note is not a note it is a colored dot on one of the 5 lines....is there a better tutorial? Thanks again
  10. I want to start transcribing songs to tab that have not already been done. What workflow and programs do you use to create tabs? I have been using Anytune on the iPad to slow down songs and figure out notes but have not started to tab them out. I just use it to memorize and play by ear. What program do you use to listen to a song, slow it down, transcribe to tab and then replay to verify accuracy? I would eventually like to por tthe tab to CDLC. Thanks in advance.
  11. The ASUS ROG looks good. Which one have you used? Thanks.
  12. I am definitely looking at other factors for picking the motherboard. Here is what I posted on the steam forum when asked what I will be using it for: I will be playing Rocksmith, transcribing and editing recordings from my Tascam DR2D. I currently use an Ipad and Anytune Pro for learning by ear. The audio could be better. I have a Yamaha THR10 and Zoom G3 I want to use with the PC to record as well (both are USB in). So I won't be using the analog in but use headphones all the time. The only other game I play is Team Fortress 2. I have a bunch of Gopro footage I would like to edit too. I don't care for overclocking and running a high speed processor requiring tons of cooling. I would rather have a mATX form factor than a giant tower. The Gigabyte gaming 5 looks good. Thank you for your advice.
  13. According to the Ubisoft Rocksmith forum sound latency FAQ the game does better with on board sound. So what motherboard are you using that you are happy with the sound? I am putting together a rig and trying to figure out which MB to get. I typically play through headphones. Thanks.
