  1. I didn't have much time this week to play, but thanks for another awesome week!! Steely Dan is one of my favorite bands ever, will for sure be learning this song better in the future
  2. Awesome week again! And the octaves on "Fire" are tough for sure but not impossible, this will definitely be a good song to continue to practice. I think the 5.5 difficulty is appropriate too.
  3. I didn't have much time to play this week but here's my intermediate entry, hopefully I made the cut off!! Thanks again as always!!
  4. I'll squeeze my submission in too! I also wont do the update that Steam is telling me to do either, I'm not trying to fight my computer games right now lol
  5. I finally made it back!!! and what an awesome week to come back to!! Metallica!!!!!!!
  6. Thanks for another great week! Intermediate never heard of this band or this song, fun to play though!
  7. This weeks' theme was awesome! Now i need to spend a night re-watching "The Pick of Destiny"!!!! Thanks for another good week!
  8. Thanks for another awesome week! I think both of these songs difficulties are rated correctly for intermediate. Had to get in on some Black Sabbath too!!
  9. Thanks for another great week! I figured I would get my scores in early for once! Haha Intermediate. I've never heard of this band before but I really like the song, listening to more of them for sure! Int. Bonus. Loved the B Standard tuning....perfect for my 5'er! Beg. I had to play some more ELO!! Advanced......I gave it a shot, guess I gotta keep working on this Hahaha
  10. Awesome week again. I always wondered if we ever played the included game songs....we do and i like it! heres my entries for the week Intermediate Advanced.....becasue it would be blasphemous to not play any Zombie! I had to give Budgie a couple more tries, great song!
  11. Here are my class entries for the week. Intermediate Intermediate Bonus and here is my attempt at Advanced and GoB! GoB....awesome song and another band I've never heard of but for sure need to add to my playlist!!
  12. Thanks for another great week! I was definitely into the bass line for Cyndi Lauper's song. I don't think I ever had a favorite Cyndi Lauper song but I guess I do now I can never skip Muse, one of my go to favorites for sure! And for GoB, my fingers just couldn't move any faster. haha
  13. Another awesome week! Weird tuning but a really fun song to play. I grew up listening to Steely Dan. They are on my list of absolute favorites! "Kid Charlemagne" was GoB difficulty for me!!
  14. I play a 5 string and I tuned it "up" from BEADG and it registered fine on my computer, but I didn't play it too many times, the strings were really under some tension (at least to me on my still newish bass ) at that tuning. Weird tuning for sure, I wonder how Serj's bassist set up his bass to play that low.
  15. Awesome songs again this week! Maneskin was a super fun bass line! I was feeling the bassline and wanted to try Master and felt pretty good about it, My timing on some of the sections was off and I missed a few notes but its all good, just need more practice!! The MTV Unplugged series was one of the best series of concert shows out there and Nirvana's concert is the best of the best. I had to try my hand at Master for this one too! The descending scale sections got me pretty good and the timing/transitions need some work for sure......practice practice practice!!!
  16. Awesome Week!! I know Nickleback is always the butt of jokes but I've always liked them! Machinehead being tuned in Drop B let me slap that low string for another week too!! Iron Maiden one more time?.......always!!
  17. This was another great week of CDLC's!! Megadeth kicked my ass! It was really fun playing though, being in Bflat I was able to just flatten my 5'er and give my B string a workout. The Misfits rock and was super fun to play! No Leaf Clover is by far my favorite song on the S&M album!! A full Iron Maiden album play through is an epic workout for the hands! Thanks again!!
  18. Thanks for another week of awesome CDLC's! And then played the rest for fun!
  19. Another great one! I cant get enough of U2! Thanks! Ya'll have a good week!
  20. I wanted throw in some David Bowie this morning last minute, This is a classic......and I worked in a shop where the owners wife only allowed us to listen to Contemporary Christian Music on the radio (not bad stuff, I'm a fan) or an album that was various different version of "Let's Dance". There were about 12 or 13 different version of "Let's Dance" on this album and we would listen to it on repeat for hours!
  21. Finally made it back! Thanks for a great year last year and for another awesome year this year! Here is my submission for this week, The Killers are awesome!
  22. In Flames Is awesome and playing songs in C Standard is fun on my 5 string, tune up semi-tone and give that 5th string a workout!
