  1. Hi Dev's, all, When an error occurs in DDC, where are the logs stored? I'm getting an error, and I am either having a severe brain fart or the logs are missing. Below is the error I get, and here is my project folder. I'm sure the error is caused by something I've done, but I don't know what. My toolkit version is 2.8.2.0-a6a5fd9d. However, I tried on previous versions and I get the same error, which is also why I think it's something I've done. I do get a warning for notes crossing a phrase boundaries, but that has never stopped DDC from working for me in the past. Any help is appreciated. Thank you, Tysylio.
  2. Thanks for all of your hard work on EoF! Not a bug, but I have more of a feature request: would it be possible to make your selection in the Waveform Graph configuration save ("Song -> Waveform Graph -> Configure"), so that it is set for the next time you open EoF? So in other words, once you set it to be both left and right channels, that the setting will be saved upon closing EoF? Thanks again!
  3. Thank you @@cozy1, you have fixed the issue. I am able to configure and run RST. :)
  4. Yes, thank you, @@firekorn, microphone mode was what I was thinking of. It allows users to bypass the Realtone cable and simply use a USB microphone. You're right though, @@Berneer, I thought there was a way to filter for song tag, of which I've used 5-String, violin, of banjo, but I can't remember or figure it out now. Sorry for that.
  5. It's probably easier than ever now, with the recent updates to RS2014 for acoustic instruments. You don't need pickups on your "not a guitar or bass". There are tracks with violin, cello, and even banjo out there; have a look in Ignition.
  6. I too experience this issue, and have tried the same steps you speak of. However, I also cannot find a way around it except for downloading a new version from the web page, and not relying on the updater. It may be related to Win10, as I didn't have this issue when I was still on Win7. ...if only my PC hadn't taken up smoking last year... ;)
  7. Hi developers, I downloaded the latest RS Toolkit a few minutes ago (RST 2.7.1.0 (rev 4b2bdd6e)), and tried to run it. When it went to the config page because it was my 1st run, it gave me a) an error when selecting an item (such as "Use beta releases" check box), and b) when I try the pull-down menus (such as "App ID RS2014"), they contain no lists. I'm running Win10. Here is my log file. Here is the error message: Please let me know if there is any way I can help you with this error. Thank you!
  8. I have the same issue. If I undo more than once it crashes.
  9. This is the same issue I posted here. I've tried adding RST to my AV Exclusions, and I've tried turning my AV off. However, RST still freezes for me too. But when I run version 2.7.0.0, it doesn't have an issue, and runs fine. There was a big MS update last night to Win10, and I believe it has something to do with it, I'm just not savvy enough to know what.
  10. So, MicroSoft has gone and done it to us again... or at least me... Last night there was an update to Windows 10, afterwhich RST freezes. Whenever I run RST it opens fine, but as soon as I click a button, like to add a tone, or even any of the menu items at the top - File, About, Config, the program freezes. I downloaded a fresh version 2.7.0.0 and it performs fine. I can't send a log file, as it is not generating one, there is no exception error message. Is anyone else encountering this issue? Thanks for your help, Tysylio
  11. Thanks @@cozy1, Before, when I would add an arrangement, all the fields would populate, and all I would have to add is the version number. So, I guess to answer your question: empty. Up until now, my process is: Add Tones Add arrangements Set version number Set desired Platforms Set song/preview volume Change Song Title Sort to include DD or NDD if applicable Add album art file Add wem file Save Package Generate I'll provide a link to my project file in a moment. Thanks again @@cozy1!
  12. Hi cozy1, with the new validation version when I try to add an arrangement i get this error. Please let me know if you need more details.
  13. Yes! That did the trick! Thank you very much for your help @@Alex360!!
  14. Old habits die hard I guess. Thank you @@Alex360, I will give that a try and let you know.
  15. I know, there are so many topics here with the same header. I checked a bunch, and some looked similar to me, but... I charted my current song in EoF, and all seemed good, but when I tried to generate the PC file I get the following error: What's weird, is if after setting up the Toolkit and this happens, if I then close and reopen, and load my saved package, I am able to generate the file. However, when I play the file in RS the 3 second delay of the music is not there, and the notes start late. Here is the psarc. I initially thought maybe there was an error when I added the time delay, but I'm not sure. I also had the same error message on my previous song I charted, but after the restart and reload of the package, the song didn't have any errors. Here is my song folder, and I have copied the log file and put it in the rar. Thank you for your help, Tysylio
  16. I'm finally back up and running. I should have my next CDLC revamp completed... soonish; I'm 3/4 done tabbing another guitar part by ear, so it's not exactly quick. But I'm back at it! YAY! :D Only a few more revamps to go before new content! Watch for it!
  17. I was very close to finishing my next song, when my PC decided take up smoking... it seems to have been a terminal choice. :( I hope to be back at is soon, but there will be a delay for a couple more weeks.
  18. Yep, that did it! Thanks again @@raynebc!! :)
  19. Thanks! But here's the weird thing: I don't have that option enabled.
  20. I'm having a weird issue with EoF. I had previously made a bass part in my current project that was tuned to BEAD in PART REAL_BASS_22, but I have instead created a 5-string bass part in the PART REAL_GUITAR track, and I now want to use PART REAL_BASS_22 for a Rhythm guitar track. I'm fairly confidant I've done this before, so I erased the track I didn't want anymore, set the tuning back to standard EADG, then set the number of strings to 6, and the Arrangement Type to Rhythm. I am tabbing the song I'm working on by ear, and I was having an issue isolating the strums for the first few bars. I decided to change my sound card to a different mode to allow me to change the balance and some other audio features to isolate the sounds I'm trying to hear, so I saved and closed EoF. After I changed the audio setting on my sound card, I reopened EoF and found that it had reverted the track back to BEAD tuning and to only 4 strings. However, I've found that the Arrangement Type stays intact. I'm didn't think this behaviour was expected, so I decided to report it here. Am I mistaken that I can use PART REAL_BASS_22 for a 6-string guitar track? And, why does EoF revert back to the old tuning? Weird right? Here is my current project, and I'm using EoF version 2-15-2016. Thanks for your help, Tysylio
  21. I've made 3 so far, and I plan on more: Dead Milkmen - Big Lizard In My Backyard Dead Milkmen - Eat Your Paisley! Dead Milkmen - Bucky Fellini
  22. I've made 3 full Dead Milkmen albums: Big Lizard in My Backyard Eat Your Paisley! Bucky Fellini ...and I'm working toward Beelzebubba.
  23. Thanks for helping drill down to the root of my issue @@Alex360! :)
