  1. Thank you for posting this. Lots of fun following along. I used to have a basement full of woodworking tools. Building a guitar was something I always wanted to do. I just couldn't get out of the "you're going to fail" part of making it happen. I love how you just jumped in and went for it!
  2. Not quite sure this should be a "3". Seems a little easy for that rating. Or maybe I'm starting to get a bit better? Who knows. Seems like a few more times thru this should give me a better score.
  3. Beginner song. I liked this and there is a better score out there for me. Bonus Beginner. Love this song but it's a boring one on the bass. Intermediate song. Really enjoyed playing this and it seems like a good "stretch" song. I'll see if it gets better the rest of the week.
  4. Not sure I've gotten 100% before. But this song was super easy for me so I guess the "1" rating is corrrect!
  5. Alright, finally a score worth posting. No weird "miss" or "late" notes for me this week. I was feeling spunky and decided to try the intermediate song (which didn't go so bad I think)
  6. @glebbThanks for testing and replying so quickly!
  7. @glebbAny chance that your converter would cause an issue where a few of the notes in a song are always a "miss" or "late"?. For the past few weeks I've had a really annoying problem where I'm playing beginner songs in Score Attack or Learn a Song and am constantly missing a few notes. If I switch to riff repeater (100% difficulty and speed) I get them right all of the time. This doesn't seem to happen on any out-of-box songs. This weeks song was Turn by Travis in case you want to check anything out. I can provide more details also if needed. Thanks again for this tool!!!!
  8. I have probably played this song 20 times and the same 4 notes always register as a miss. When I go into riff repeater (even at 100% speed) I hit all of them correctly. Start LAS or SA and miss, miss, miss. I feel like a broken record. There are plenty of people posting 100% so it's obviously something messing up between my brain and fingers! Oh well, I'm tired of turn, turn, turning.
  9. I have felt this way the past couple of weeks. If I just play the song where it sounds "right" I'm always getting missed notes. If I pay attention to the "note highway" the final song sounds a bit off. This does not appear to be a lag issue since so many other songs I play work out just fine.
  10. OK, much better. I tried playing with a pick, which I don't ever do. So I'm quite happy with this for now.
  11. For the second week in a row, this seems like a really easy song that I should have no problem playing. But the game is always telling me I'm "late". Hmmm...
  12. Either this is a weird rhythm that I can't get in my head or my note recognition is off! This song seems like something I should easily be able to play, but I swear it's saying miss or late every third note. Thought I would try this also
  13. Man, this song is kicking my butt. Still can't finish it on score attack so I'll just post this for now. I guess there is quite a bit I need to learn about playing bass guitar. I can never get the "3rd fret yellow" to a quick "5th fret blue/orange". And the 4445 on blue is tripping me up. I've played the song over and over at 75% in RR, but at 100% WOW. I'll give it a few more tries.
  14. Wow, everyone posting their 100% on the Bowie song. I can get 94% on learn a song. But I can't get very far when doing score attack. This seems like a "hard beginner".
  15. Same percentage on the ZZ Top song, but a better score and streak. Slightly better on the Goo Goo Dolls.
  16. First attempt at this song. And I love this song so I thought I would try it also.
  17. I can do better on this song. But I forgot to upload last weeks results so I'll throw this here so I at least have something submitted!
  18. Wow, that was a difficult song to play. I think this percentage hides that a bit. I was just plucking away and trying to make sure the correct fret was mostly pressed down!
  19. @kayteck, I was having the same issue on the Drop D tuning especially the second fret. I had to force myself to not push very hard and it was finally recognized each and every time. Sure shows just how much pressure is actually needed!
  20. OK, a bit better on the beginner song. Also tried the intermediate song this week. Not too bad after a few "learn a song" sessions.
  21. First time playing and hearing this song. I'm sure this can be improved!
  22. I got a higher score on the beginner song, but none of the other stats are better. I guess I need to read thru the rules to see which is better! Thought I would also try out the Intermediate song.
