I think people should have to add the riff repeater and tones if it was in the original at SA also. Kinda would suck if we get flooded with bare bones transfers that are knock offs of the orginal.

I only saw a tv commercial once or twice but I saw quite a few adds on the internet.

Scott from northern minnesota I'm freezing except 3 or 4 months of the year II thaw out. I had a guitar for like 8 years and never really got any better. Rocksmith came out on consoles and I was sad. Then it finally came out on pc and I was happy. I have improved still not amazing but definately improved and improving.

I hope I wasnt the one being called small potatoes I got 24 subscribers im pretty sure im on my way to the big leagues!

I have quite a variety of bands on my rocksmith customs and all I have ever got was the notice that some other company claims it and I just acknowledge it and it goes on like nothing ever happened. It has said quite a few times that germany blocks my videos. But nothing bad has ever happend except those companies make money from my videos. There has been a few times where I'm almost certain the company claiming it was not the real company that should be able to claim but oh well I would rather not argue something that doesnt really affect me anyway.

Maybe my request will get filled at ultimate-guitar and someone will post a bass tab or maybe I will find one eventually. If either of those happen I will make it for sure since it would be such a fun song to play.

While that is a hard point to go against and makes sense what about songs that have no words by that logic you could miss out on amazing songs you have never heard because they dont have a check mark in vocals. Maybe there could be an extra box for instrumental or no words in song so those kind of songs but fall through the cracks.

Other than hearing a sound difference is there a way to know exactly what level the audio quality is? just curious.

Rocksmith the fastest way to learn violin! Thats pretty cool you figured that out. I know a couple people that played violin who would probably enjoy a product that showed songs in a format like this.

I appreciate that raynebc but my musical theory level is at zero I can kind of fix small errors in tabs if something doesn't sound right but making a whole tab is beyond my skill level :(

I hope you arent going to force me to do vocals to get a song approved like on smithy. I hate doing vocals and has zero impact on how well the song plays. Just my opinion.

I have been using and making customs since they made it a possibility on rocksmith 2014 and part of 2012 and no issue ever. Theres no guarantee though something cant happen at some point but its highly unlikely.

I have scoured the internet and even submitted a bass tab request at ultimate-guitar and no luck. I was wondering if anyone has a bass tab for the david bowie song Dance Magic from the movie labyrinth or if they have a tab book with that if they could scan it and upload. I really wanna make this song and theres really only bass and synth to it.

I never knew this was a thing till this post either. It does sound like it would make things like songs with quiet bass easier to chart.

There was a section that was missing and I had copied and pasted it there but forgot that it was off and corrected it at the other spot but left the notes wrong in that spot. I coulda swore that it wasnt different in riff repeater but it must just have been I was tired and was playing it correctly but it was tabbed wrong and so it seemed like it was correct since I was playing it correct but in reality it was wrong. Or maybe im going insane. Its confusing even trying to type it.

If there is only one lead rhythm and bass I always put dd under bonus arrangements now. If theres a alternate lead or rhythm I will put dd seperate but its annoying uploading and linking it twice.

No theres no ghost notes I double checked its very odd I have never had this happen in any other custom. The only thing different in this custom is I have quite a few notes with link next checked but the spot where its happening doesnt have any special notes. I guess I will just try repacking and hope its a weird glitch.

There is no dd its just messing up note locations its removing a couple notes and placing a couple in wrong spots.

I made a song and when I play through at one section the notes are incorrect when I play. But when I go watch the riff repeater demo the notes before i start it they appear correctly there but as soon as I start riff repeater they are screwed up again. Any idea how that happens or how to fix it?

It seems like when I'm in game the notes cant be held as long as I can outside of the game. Does rocksmith kinda kill the sustain or is it just because I have a cheap guitar or am I making tones without something that could make them last longer? Anybody else feel like this happens or is it just me?

I just have the finger on the seven fret slightly touching that string and it mutes it when i strum that. Not sure if thats the real way it should be done but it seems to work for me.

I have enough people asking for tones or help with tones that I figured I would just upload them all for people to use if they want. I make alot of drastically different customs song styles so there is a pretty big variety to try out. Some with wah trem echo metal tones and some clean tones with effects on some and also the ones I used for game music tones. its in a rar file since uploading individually would be just silly. I usually try to find one that sounds close and then tweak it from there otherwise its really confusing to me.
