You can create CDLC for Rocksmith+ songs on CustomsForge for Rocksmith 2014 However, you cannot copy/replicate/rip charts from Rocksmith+ to Rocksmith 2014 https://customsforge.com/index.php?/guidelines/ So, if its on RS+ it is allowed to be on CF, but, do not use the RS+ track as a line for line, note for note copy for cdlc in RS2014. Imo thats not hard to accomplish since in my experience of the RS+ songs, they are half done chord charts or have errors. So writing it out correctly you're likely to get notes and fretting mostly different from an RS+ chart.

We have plenty of charters taking time out of their day, big shoutout to DJPavs for all the help, to test charts, get feedback in our chart-feedback channel, and to provide fixes and teach how to avoid issues. If you use the validate button in DLCB which all charters should be doing, it will point out these issues.

It seems just people are more aware and more active in reporting. Probably because we've increased the tools available for reporting and information on what is reportable. Last year and honestly the last 5 years, all I can remember hearing from the community was how many CDLC with errors and other issues exist on CF and how hard it was to find quality charts, let alone perfect charts on CF because moderation was relaxed on the quality of charts. This is the pendulum swingback from those years of comments from the community to a more strict state. The pendulum is already swinging back again to a more relaxed state, as Unleashed and the rest of us on the moderating team have improved and changed systems so that it doesn't just delete reported cdlc among other features. If the title being `21stCenturySchitzoidMan` instead of `21st Century Schitzoid Man` won't get fixed as an easy 30 second fix; how would any other charter with way more egregious errors, ever take responsibility to fix their charts? They'd look to you as an example not to fix their charts. That line of thinking is the exact reason many have given to not update charts. "X chart exists which is worse than mine, so why would I make mine better?" Its seems silly but if we have less charts that can be used as an excuse, maybe the quality of all charts in general can improve because attitudes improve along with it. Its an opportunity to be the change you want to see in the world. I sure have some old charts that need fixing and I'm taking the time. I've even had people offer help which I've gladly taken. Mage_Gage helped me redo the first Good Tiger album that I had done during my infancy of charting. I've gotten better since then and my charts post 2025 are at 2025 standards. It sure is a long process but myself and many other charters have worked to improve that and created more tools like the #creators channel and #chart-feedback channel in Discord to help charters be the change we want to see. This is the reporting that should have been done 10 years ago, and it just feels bad that its happening now because a charts been up for years ( even with comments asking for fixes ). Its only gonna feel worse the longer its up without a report and then gets reported. As firekorn pointed out, since the earliest rules the issues listed were things that were reportable.

Users may need to go to their filter settings and un-check the box that says `Hide Abandoned` as well and save their filter settings. We're working to remedy that issue.

ah yup i did miss that lol. yeah you would manual transpose it in eof or gp to the correct fretting and go from there.

so, mostly you would make a 5/ (6) string arrangement instead. Now currently the bass path only allows 4 strings to be used, but we have a workaround for this. If you set the path to BONUS rhythm under Arrangment and then in DLCBuilder set the tuning using this guide. You will have access to all 6 strings in eof this way.

Yeah here or the wishlist or the #commissions channel on discord would work, but I would be wary of scammers and never pay upfront. adding 10 seconds of leading silence will turn 5:00 into 5:10 that is correct even though there's no audio happening, there is 10 seconds of length in the audio file.

In DLC Builder we have what is called "show sort fields" which shows what the game would sort the song as for example, `The Beatles` would be the name of an artist chart, but then in the sort field, it would be `Beatles, The` so yes you can alter the sort field for example, to have numbers, like 1,2,3,4,5 etc to create a custom setlist based on numbers, This can also be done using customsforge song manager 2. a Yes you can modify lyrics and add japanese / non ascii extended asci characters but you will need to use a few workarounds which are available on the forums, then you'd just add the lyric file once you have sync'd it in eof or charter to your dlc builder project file for the song and repackage the psarc b, yes you can use dlc builder and eof/charter to correct minor mistakes, though i'm pretty sure parkway drive has always played in D drop C since their inception but not really important. c. yes you can alter tone swaps and tones themselves using dlc builder and eof/charter, i would suggest watching mage-gages video guide as its the most up to date on all of these processes.

first step, get dlc builder its way better and imo necessary , rstoolkit should not be used, it has depreciated. dlc builder has an entire tone library for you to choose from with every single ODLC tone available.

it works for rocksmith 2014 Remastered Edition. It does not currently work with Rocksmith 2014 Remastered Learn & Play which is the current version for people did not own the old version, and is currently the one for sale on steam. Just gotta be patient, its well worth the sale, and eventually a fix will be out for it.

If you have highly repeatative lyrics, way easier to write it once, sync a line in eof and then copy paste that line where you need it, using ctrl r or ctrl shift r to snap to grid line your selection of lyrics, but otherwise ultrastar to rough it, and then actually line it up in eof is always better, If you get it close enough in ultrastar and the lyrics are say, eight notes, or triplets, you can set your grid to that pattern, ctrl a to select all, and then ctrl r/ ctrl shift r to snap them all to grid to save some time / you should still manually check the sync.

so they forgot to put the exe in the new learn and play version of rocksmith, so you just have to wait for them to fix it.

currently the only legal way to get it on steam is to buy a sealed PC copy of Rocksmith 2014 or Rocksmith 2014 Remastered. Each sealed box has a steam code in it that can be redeemed. The key point being, be aware of scams or people selling you items without the steam code inside. There are other non legal ways to get Rocksmith but we will not be discussing them here. Do what you will, just don't tell us about it.

I mean, you can search by tuning, thats how you're going to find 8/7 string songs since RS cannot natively support above 6 strings. We have expanded our definitions for tunings and tags for "heavy strings" required, but not all previous songs have been updated for that yet. thats up to the cdlc creators to update their charts
