  1. I was able to make a bonus arrangement to work but RS display a X and if you still choose to play the song will automatically load the bonus arrangement so even if RS doesn't display the arrangement as available, it is.
  2. Restart the game is the only fix for this on your end and report to the creator of the custom so that he can fixes this issue.
  3. Here's your tone for this song : https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B1ZKYtpB0vu2OGpaRXFSYXNzalE&usp=sharing It's the one named LifeFuzz and you can use it all the way through the song. And as i played this song, here's my feedback : During the chorus there's a slide from 7 to 3 on the B strings, but it's probably more of a 6 to 3 since 7 is not in the scale used in the song. You can shorter all the sustain a little and delete them all in the riff on the EAD strings since it's useless and doesn't help to see the note.
  4. Okay so i'm starting to respond to some of the request but working with only a youtube video is harder than testing it directly in RS, so if everyone can link to their CDLC, it would be much more easier to answer to all the request. And try to indicate if you finally found the tone.
  5. Pretty sure i can do better for the lead with some work on the solo part Lead 90.84% streak 148 http://uppix.net/TxkNosl.jpg Rhythm 97.58% streak 274 http://uppix.net/qdtShWl.jpg
  6. Note that their is 2 or more tutorial about this just above in the pinned post if you want detailed information on how to do this.
  7. Tried the bass too and the detection is not working but i passed the tuning with my guitar (emulated bass). The pitch is probably wrong as is the tuning in the toolkit i supposed.
  8. @@Ross : Funny how we found two different setup for this. To clarify how i found what i proposed : I based myself on the actual partition they gave in the PDF and reproduce it on Guitar Pro 6. From there i simply set the tuning on Guitar Pro 6 to get one note out of two (since there is twelve note available) as actual open strings but going up to the correct octave wouldn't be possible in EOF so i just set the tuning one octave down. Looking at the PDF you can adjust the pitch but it's supposed to be at 440Hz as stated in the PDF. You can also change in which key you are which change completely the note you will be able to play.
  9. The page 16 of the pdf correspond to the page 13 of the booklet Using this, here how i would set the tuning in EOF : With this you go through one note out of two but you will have to set the A at 880 because you suppose to be an octave higher than what i indicate in the tuning (going from G#3 to C4) I set this so that the tab will also be easy to look at since you have all the note on the following order (using the tuning and the A880) :
  10. You can not do it but : You complicate the task of charting You can't set on time the section/phrases The player can't figure out easily the tempo and the rhythm You can't indicate the time signatureIt's a loose/loose solution to do this since you don't even gain anything to not do this while charting a song and it might even take a lot more time to sync note to note.
  11. Nop, here's what you get in each case : 0-2-2-0-0-- _/----____ 0-2---0---- _/____ / indicate that you bend indicate that you release _ keep at 0 - keep at 2 In words : the second case will slowly release right after you bend will the first cas will keep the bend and quickly release
  12. One thing you need to understand is that sound and graphic are handle separately by different component (audio card and graphic card or their onboard equivalent). A lag on specific hit note is due to graphic card limitation (since it's the animation that the game has to show that make him lag) and looking at the Lattitude graphic card, it's an onboard intel HD4000 which is a poor onboard card for game. Know that the biggest factor on graphic card are post processes (FXAA/MSAA) and resolution. You can also diminish overall visual quality but depending and how it's implemented, it might have only limited effect.
  13. It's really your own appreciation that matter here, dissonant chord is acceptable if they're wanted by the author. Harmonically, it might seems a bit odd at first but if the full progression is the same as a major or minor (same intervals) it should seems right.
  14. I think it's one of the worst way to sync a sound, if the beat map is not set you can see clearly the rhythm your supposed to play and it will mess up the Section since they are necessarily on a beat marker which will fall out of place.
  15. i don't see why you coudln't. Music is not limited, if you want to write something that sounds weird, do it!
  16. Nop, they designed it to be intuitive (same string order than the neck when you look at it). Being used to the tab notation doesn't make it intuitive, you're just used to it. Tab notation is weird for somebody that just discover it since you have to invert what you see compared to whenyou look at your neck (Low E at the bottom on the tab while the Low E is at the top when you look at the neck while playing). The worst notation i've seen was RB3 pro guitar notation which was like GH notation with number. Strings was placed verticaly compared to the horizontal way on tab and rocksmith which absolutely doesn't relate to the neck and the number was showed as on a tab which is hard to read at high speed. The only advantage i see for the tab notation is that it's intuitive for writing riff, the higher you go the higher pitch you get but it doesn't relate to the neck as directly as Rocksmith does.
  17. I wish i was! :D But the streak isn't everything.
  18. Did you actually add sections and phrase in EOF?
  19. Creating a ticket will be useless since they don't support any custom related crash. It seems like it could be one custom that is creating this corruption of the save file but nobody has ever found the guilty one yet.
  20. It just depends on the strings. The three lowest strings (EAD) goes down the neck because there's more space available while the down three strings (GBE) goes up. But you can sometimes go on the opposite direction if you feel it's better there's no absolute rules about this.
  21. I don't see why it wouldn't, i play with my trombone in RS...
  22. RS was at 5$ not so long ago and since spring sale will start aroung june on steam, you can except the first game to be cheaper.
  23. It really depends on how the band record their live version. Some live album are almost as good as or even better than studio album but it's not always the case. I've made a live version for Only for the Weak because it's was tabbed very well, well recorded but doing both version (live and studio) could be a good way to let people choose what they want to play.
  24. I know the author of the site and can relate anything directly to him if necessary if you have any kind of idea of what might cause this problem.
