  1. It's still a work in progress as we need the new version of ignition to be done first. Again no ETA to offer.
  2. @ we can remove song for multiple reason, it usually is simply because the link is dead and we have no alternative to offer so we don't keep the record as it is technically not available anymore.
  3. @@Lev989 No one have done the step of hacking their console and looking into how to do it so far.
  4. @@blackdragon1 is CFSM not filling that role for you? I would be really curious what more would you want to do? Note that CFSM is already in C# and it's not like we refuse any help that is offered.
  5. @@Jinxyface Sync issue are usually because you didn't used the correct audio file in the toolkit. Make sure to use the guitar.ogg that is used by EOF. Any other file might not reflect what you see in EOF at all.
  6. @@Borgf15 that'll happen at one point but time to write things down is limited so update are coming slowly to put it nicely at the moment. @@Magenta Import from a GP is the easiest way to add note to EOF, otherwise it'll depends on your input method in EOF preferences.
  7. @@Intimid8or03 Can you share a screenshot of where you put the dll and how it's named?
  8. @@Borgf15 It's not in my tutorial mostly because that would require me to explain all the effects that exist and how to recognize them which is a massive topic that i don't want to talk about anytime soon. The most common suggestion is to find a tone from an official song that is close enough and to purely rely on it if you don't feel confident about doing it yourself. @@Magenta That's a EOF bug which should be handled over the EOF section of the forum.

  10. RS community dev answered : The Uplay+ article posted on a Spanish-language instance of the Rockmith news site was published in error—it was meant for a different Ubisoft site. Check the Ubisoft Store for more news and information about Uplay+! https://www.reddit.com/r/rocksmith/comments/c7qbc1/uplay_subscription_and_rocksmith_dlcs/eshuwaq/
  11. Nop, it just brought up the steam page for the DLC. And Karawan is not a DLC, it is technically already included in the game file and is just unlocked by Uplay but it's the only case of a full song being tied to Uplay. I'm not saying it's technically impossible at all to do. Just that it seems unlikely as it is.
  12. @@Gryphonboy First, the blog article was hidden from the news list on that blog, some people found back the link somehow but it's been there since E3 announcement of Uplay+ Secondly, No, RS2014 is a steamworks game and buying RS on Uplay only give you access to a Steam key to use... Thirdly, Probably a news that was posted on all blog website for ubisoft games with the game name inside without checking if the game will or will not actually be included (which is why they added the * just in case) Note that Rainbow 6 siege got the same article at the same date : https://rainbow6.ubisoft.com/siege/en-us/news/152-350982-16/get-unlimited-access-to-100-pc-games-with-uplay and it is still visible in the blog news unlike the RS one. Exact same wording making the suggestion that it was automated very likely with only the game name changing. And lastly, DLC are NOT available through Uplay, this would mean a huge cooperation with Valve to get things to roll out properly. When we see how much trouble can happen for simply putting the DLC out on the store, giving out keys weekly and revoking access as subscription run out would require a lot of work to be done which isn't assured at all at this point. There's very little indication that this is something that is actually happening for RS considering the information we have so far.
  13. @@Gryphonboy except for that little * that then says "Restrictions may apply" like the fact it's not a Uplay game :)
  14. @@coldrampage There's no new version, there's nothing new. Uplay+ have been announced at E3 and nothing have been communicated by UbiSF regarding RS which is a STEAM only game (the only thing you can buy on Uplay is the base game and even then, it'll just give you a steam key) Don't hold your breath for anything new out of this as it seems unlikely for it to happen and we have no proper list of games included in Uplay+ at the moment.
  15. Nothing is confirmed and nothing indicate this will happen in any kind of way. Uplay+ is for the games on Uplay catalogue but DLC for RS are only available through steam which makes it unlikely that they would give out steam key as DLC are released to all Uplay+ subscriber and it would also require them to revoke those keys when the subscription ends. You can't buy DLC through Uplay, you can't have a RS version that isn't on Steam either which makes this whole situation very very unlikely at this point and the only web page that can maybe indicate that it happens looks like just a straight up copy paste for the news to be posted on Ubisoft games website. TL;DR : unlikely to be true.

  17. @@thre4t in the first post of the topic you just replied to.
  18. All DLC from RS1 can be bought and played in RS2014 without having to buy RS1 (unless steam fucked up something again but it seems to have been fine for quite some time). The only reason to buy RS1 is to be able to buy the Import Tool to get 52 out of the 57 on disc songs that are available in RS1 (which is a great deal when RS1 is on sale).
  19. @@coldrampage we have quite a decent number of user that use it which is why we have an offer for GPA (see the announcement up top). I personnaly don't use it at all but the auto sync of GPA seems to work very well in most cases which is very helpful for some people that have trouble with syncing in general. It's just an automation of the process that can save time on a lot of cases. Is it worth it for you is a choice only you can make though.
  20. @@chicker That's a dll issue, make sure it has the correct name exactly and that it is in the right place (a screenshot of where you put it can always help us be more precise)
  21. @@TheSquishyOne Not a solution to your problem but in regards to streaming, i would strongly suggest to use our partner system that is RSPlaylist : https://rsplaylist.com/

  23. the dll should be in Rocksmith root folder (where the exe is). CDLC should be in the DLC folder. Steam shouldn't have to update anything everytime you play the game. One thing you can do is to verify the integrity of the game files via steam to see if there is any issue with your installation.
  24. Yeah, likely to be the "GuitarRegistrarTextIndicatorDefault" part. The indicator folder control the hue value for the bend/slide arrow and the exclamation point but not the actual text though that folder does contain the actual text.
  25. @@chicker there's not many reason for CDLC to not show up ingame. The two most plausible cases are if you don't own Cherub Rock or if the file aren't in the DLC folder. I would triple check that where you've put the CDLC is indeed where the game is installed by steam. The easiest way to check that is to go to your steam library, right click on the game and go into the propriety. Then to the local file tab, there's a button that'll directly open the root folder of the game and you'll just have to check the dlc folder to see if your CDLC are indeed in there. If the files are indeed in the correct place, there's one thing left to check and it's if the file correctly end in _p.psarc (no (1) or whatever in between the _p and the .psarc part of the name). Any other ending on the file name will make RS ignore it.
