  1. A few times the goals were completely reset. I'm not sure why. I checked logs and nothing was altered but it was set back to zero. I adjusted the goals to the amount donated. Obviously adjusted to other things that was taken out, for example slack fees. Anyways I will be making sure after the server is paid for that all future goals and donations are outlined and in detail that way everything is transparent.
  2. What we are currently working on behind the scenes: A new unique system, codenamed ignition. It's a new front-end for CustomsForge developed using Laravel/PHP. The features will include a requests system built in, a cdlc creator's area where they will have access to tutorials, uploading CDLC and more. And of course a revamped CDLC search. We will have this feature packed and we hope everyone will love it. We're pouring all of our talents into it and it's turning into something beautiful. Next to that we have our desktop app we are developing. We're looking into a CDLC Song Manager. Additionally we are always looking into the forums here for improvement, and optimizing search2. Our priority is to make sure the user has everything they need for their rocksmith. I've added you on steam if you would like to discuss this more in depth.
  3. The problem is that I thought we had another month before these renewals, which is my fault. I've been slowly putting together a price list of everything we owe. I want to make it VERY clear that we do not use any money for anything other than CustomsForge purchases. The problem is my life has been pretty crazy running CF on top of a full time job, while developing the future of CF, finding a new house, and other things. It takes a lot to run this website and I'm open to pricing everything. At this moment our development pricing is extremely high and I'm working on toning that down. We recently added tons of new staff and that requires $8 per staff member to add to our system (it's over a hundred at this moment). Plus github and deployhq (both needed at this moment). Other costs include server optimizations with my hosting company as we've been running into serious disk and mysql issues lately. It's been a mess and I've been trying to clean it up. On top of that I've been optimizing the server so we don't have to switch to a dedicated, which will bring up more costs. I'll work on better organizing and becoming transparent with this list. I am sorry for the chat issue and was not expecting it. Post edit: Sometimes we do buy addons for the server (example would be another cpu core) Or we buy a service to try it out and remove it. These are costs we're trying to avoid in the future as we do not want to waste anyone's money. I do want to point out that services like Slack have increased our teamwork and partnership between everyone so it was worth it. I'm still looking to cut all the costs down. I'm looking into creating three budget types. 1) Server Budget 2) Development Budget 3) IP Board Renewal Budget. Also a heads up we have developed a mediafire replacement for the business account which was needed to host editor on fire, and should be live next month. That will cut $65 down.
  4. Hmm. I don't think we will add this to search2, but it might be addable to search3.
  5. I wasn't applying that at all. But why write a script just to update 20~ customs? Additionally each custom will need to be set at it's own version. No point in making a script.
  6. With MySQL being a PITA lately, I wouldn't even go near MySQL to edit the amount of records that need to be changed. Additionally it would be more than 1 table change (probably around 2-3) per update. So doing it this way would be more difficult. The correct way to edit the files is to manually edit the records (which the author should do). I've gotten 98% of everyone to already comply and I'm just waiting for two magna charters to update theirs and it will be completed. And if I am forced to change it for them, I would have to do it via the edit record page. Anyways, in the future we will make a method on when the artist updates the update field only that it bumps the content.
  7. I highlighted database & CDLC database to try to avoid confusion as both point to our database. We have about 5% of our database using the wrong version system. I see some dates and some other ones, but they need to be fixed. I checked yours and you're all set.
  8. The live site is the issue. I've been working on this for the last 48 hours. MySQL keeps crashing & is being overloaded.
  9. Actually I just checked my server monitor program, something has been acting up last 24 hours. Looking into it now.
  10. When you say logged off, do you see a cloudflare error page, or are you logged out and have to retype your password, etc to login?
  11. Every 5 minutes? I'm not having that issue. Can you confirm anyone else is?As of 5:42 PM EST I reset the firewall, so there was brief downtime.
  12. I have nothing to report just as yet but trust me I've been monitoring it and trying to fix any problems.
  13. We're always working on the website so plenty of things could of caused the problem. I slept in til 11 so I was unable to do anything until I woke up.
  14. Hey all, I just wanted to let everyone know we're still making huge progress with our future projects. A few things we are working on: Ignition: This is our new front-end we've been working on. It will have all of these functions built in: Search, Requests, an area just for CDLC Creators (tutorials, upload and manage songs, and more). We've been working hard on Ignition and at this moment it's taking up most of our time. Another project we're working on that I would like to announce officially is a Song Manager program for our users. You will be able to finally manage all of your DLC. We'll have more information about this project in the coming months. I personally want to thank all of our staff for making all of this possible, and the community for the continued support.
  15. Thought I fixed this, my bad! Thanks for the report.
  16. We're looking on bringing the costs down but for right now we're low on donations. We do have a backup just in case there are no donations but we can't rely on that. If donations was all of the sudden dry we would have to cut development costs because keeping the server up is the #1 priority. So when everyone donates you are keeping the site up and the developers happy. Thank you everyone.

  18. When a goal is complete, it will disappear. A new goal is now up.
  19. I'm seeing this as fixed. What search result is breaking it?
  20. Funny enough that's the second project were looking into to do. However this should start off as a small tool to read and view dlc files and to give more info of the file.
  21. Hey all,I'm starting a new small project that I would like to collaborate with you guys with. We're going to be developing an open source rocksmith dlc file reader (codename: RSnFO). The purpose of this tool is sometimes there are custom songs which you have no clue what they are, and you don't want to put them through the toolkit just to see what they are.I was wondering if you guys had any ideas or input on this project. I'd love to hear it. @@fabianosan @@Maveth @@raynebc @@Snakez @@Alex360
