Lol, I just realized that some of the muting on electric can be done with the left hand and it made chords so much easier to play :) I guess I'll need lessons at some stage! First play - before my realization Second - after Lead slightly harder I heard this song so many times that I thought I could just SA right away and yeah, no problem. It's 4 rather than 5 though Same with Lead but a bit harder, so 5 is justified

Yeah, that Halestorm cover rocks! I think I like it more than the original. Will check out that MJ cover...although since I have a Floyd on my guitar, alternate tunings are mostly verboten...lol

What finally got me to be able to painlessly practice was binge watching every King of the Hill while play scales. Developed the dexterity to attempt fingerpicking and advanced songs

You could try the blues comping lessons, all 12 bar blues shape, major and minor, from easy to hard. It's a workshop especially for learning Blues. Very recommended.
