Question

I haven't really messed around with the tone creater all that much. I know enough to make a distortion, clean, and acoustic tone. I was making a custom today and the tone calls for a wah wah pedal. In the beginning of the song it's open but then after awhile the wah wah pedal is supposed to close. How would I do this in game?? Also does anyone know a good piano tone?? Also I have another song where both guitars need to emulate strings (violin, viola, and cello type stuff) during the verses. Anyone know how I can accomplish this??

I'd love to know if a custom tone can do a wah besides auto-wah, but I don't think it's possible. The chart would have to trigger the opening and closing of the pedal, and I haven't heard of any official songs doing this.

Hmm different responses. Doesn't seem too good. Well I sure hope it is possible. Using an open and closed wah pedal won't be too hard as long as I can figure out how to do this. I don't think using an auto wah would sound right.

I'd be interested to hear how that would turn out. I worry that it wouldn't sound very natural though, since the wah would go straight between open and closed with no transition that you'd get on a wah pedal.

A wah pedal is really just a fancy equalizer, so as long as the open and closed wah tones could be done with two separate RS tones then you'll be able to do it.Unless I'm mistaken, a closed wah is very similar to an EQ pedal with the higher frequencies boosted, while the opposite is true when it's in the open position. So just use one of the EQ pedals in RS to dial them in. One tone for the closed position, and another for the open position.Make sense?
