  1. I have multiple slide down notes that aren't working. I have notes connected with "Linknext", selected as "Slide Down", and even set the end fret (ctr + shift + L) and the slides still aren't working. I have slide lines highlighted with purple that are working but the slides that aren't working have a black line instead of purple. Any ideas? https://www.dropbox.com/s/o41oslvei0v92au/slidesOnPurpleOffBlack.png?dl=1
  2. Is there an easy way to correct things like incorrect titles and lyrics, or more importantly fix notes? I'm a bassist, and I often find basslines in CDLC that have notes that are placed in odd of awkward places. For example, E notes on the A string that should really be on the second fret of the D string. Or D notes on the tenth fret of the E string that for simplicity should be played on an open D string. I'm pretty sure whoever put the CDLC together (and thanks to all of you) probably doesn't play bass and so might not notice. I usually just play the songs the easier way, but it would be really nice if there was a quick and dirty way of fixing those kind of things. Thanks for any guidance you might have...
  3. So I have a few songs that go into the 29's on the fret board and on EOF I am having the notes not come out right in the game. It must be something with the camera that I'm not doing right, but I did change the fret count to 30+ and it doesn't work in game, the notes don't come out. Any help :D
  4. Just as the title says, most creators use GP files to make a CDLC, it's also possible from text tabs. But for songs that haven't got any tab available, you can try it out with Chordify. https://chordify.net/ Works best for easy songs (your typical 4 chord song) (pop, hiphop, rap, punk songs) Also modern songs with easy BPM and timings. In this video I show you how to create a Rocksmith 2014 Custom Song (CDLC) with Editor On Fire (EoF) when there aren't any tabs available. To understand anything from this tutorial I already expect you to know the basics of EoF and customs.I should probably add some subtitles or text boxes later on to clarify some parts. Part 1: Start and rythm guitar (60min irl, 15min tutorial) Part 2: Bass guitar and vocals (30min irl, 5min tutorial) Part 3: Lead guitar (30min irl, 10min tutorial) Let me know if you need more explications. Here is the excel file that I used: http://www.mediafire.com/file/08w7vb34cq2l333/scaleform.xlsx (Old) http://www.mediafire.com/file/eg3j2q3iytb2en7/Scaleform_New.xlsx (New)
  5. I hate to write this again, but it seems EoF still not a friend of mine :( The first pic.is a legato part,i don't know if it's imported in just this way to EOF,or this is how whould look like in rocksmith. The Secon pic.is basicly the same stroy, don't know if it's just imported this way or no. Here is the GP file,if you need. Thanks! http://oi65.tinypic.com/29xvi1f.jpg http://oi64.tinypic.com/vrrr4p.jpg
  6. I've made a few custom dlc so far but all have had the same issue. Riff Repeater does not work, I have split the songs into sections as described by this tutorial: http://customsforge.com/topic/10520-creating-cdlc-tutorial-making-sections/ but when I go into the riff repeater and select one of those sections, nothing happens. The song does not play and the notes do not show up. Any ideas? Edit: I just want to say that the songs are fully functional when not using riff repeater.
  7. i made dlc. and few of them are ok, but few of them are not able to see as zoom mode but just full of notes i can see. i see the fret from 1 to 22 for the whole time of playing my dlc. i searched q&a and i found out that i have to set fret hand position. however it doesn't work at all. after i made all notes, i clicked fret hand position list - generate - done. and it is still showing full fret. is there anything i have to do more ? or please let me know any link for explaination of fret hand position. thank you
  8. i don't know what's the problem with this in guitar pro,can somone help? http://oi64.tinypic.com/15h05k5.jpg
  9. The problem is that, some times if i make chengens in a CDLC lead part and than go to do the rhythm part and than it mess up the lead part, and BTW RS toolkit don't want to import the rhythm guitar part, what shold i do?
  10. So this post is to kind of pose a question on how the scoring system works for Score attack. Different versions of the same song seem to have different scores, I.e. Killing in the name of CDLC had 1200+ notes on Bass, and the Official DLC has roughly 800 notes, yet there is a discrepancy in scores, shown here: CDLC http://s2.postimg.org/y8tjet8i1/2014_12_07_00006.jpg Official DLC http://s22.postimg.org/pmwubqj69/2014_12_09_00005.jpg If anyone wants to test this and put it into an algorithm, I am curious as to how note values are judged, maybe if we know how it is used we can use it to boost higher scores(which I know about 1% of people here care about, but it is still something I've been curious about).
