  1. sorry for the late reply, but yes I meant the volume of the acoustic, so you're already answered. Tones for lead / solo are pretty good! You are definitely an expert in creating CDLCs just a little upgrade, but I'm bad on the solo sightreading I've also tried (but not finished) Convergence (Rhythm). That's a neat and tight song, I dig into the riffs. Good pick @ Bottledpat12 ! I will use that as a workout and in the meantime enjoy the musicality of it!
  2. cool song! it sounds to me like a cover of something else, like a dejavu beautiful tones are a bit unbalanced @ Mikson , but maybe it's just me with EMG active
  3. until I figure out why it's better to use other image providers, like steam or anything else
  4. Unfortunately there is an issue with imgur images
  5. Thanks, but I never really did a mission on purpose, I've always ignored them But essentially I was already at my current skill level before playing Rocksmith so this had helped a lot in getting mission achievements and so on. Don't compare yours with mine, it's not a fair comparison because of that. For the backups, RSMods is fine, it creates a named backup every time you open it (as @ BubbleWrapDragon already properly mentioned, I missed it before)
  6. yes I have backups (i've also got corruption once but I was lucky to have a somewhere fresh whole disk backup), and I definitely played more outside Rocksmith that inside it, like 24 years now (I'm also a long time Rocksmith player, since the first edition). My sightreading indeed is way better on tab than RS. So maybe that's why my scores are good, it's not only 525 hours, probably 5000 sloppy hours I played a lot in my first teen years, then with university, I lost the focus and played randomly (even if I was playing in a band for years). Quitting gaming 3 o 4 years ago helped me to fall in love again with music and playing guitar @ Mikson impressive!!! Returning to scores, I heard this song on some playlist on Spotify, it's a strange dejavu to play it here. Strange song too
  7. yes definitely, I have 525 net playing hours in game, half the steam hour count!!
  8. great! This week I'm also celebrating my 1000ish hours on Rocksmith 2014!! (Not net net because sometimes I forgot Rocksmith open because of interruption and then I let it open for hours!) The championship has definitely boosted my hours. I think two years ago, when I started, I was at 500 or something (and I didn't play guitar outside Rocksmith anymore for years) now to the scores, I started with a nice simple Foo. more will come PS. I'm also back on working on the score assistant (OCR application) to make it more robust, but it will take a while
  9. it's the second HeXen song I play in the championship and ever (because I never heard them) but hey the are goood I've studied a bit to reach this, lacking the time I can't be a real competitor this week.. such a shame, I'd love to play this like 15 times at least
  10. these two are out of my league they would need a lot of practice, probably Nakamarra is where I can improve more, obviously if I had the time But I like both styles
  11. I'm not familiar enough with the solo as the lead, and that's it due to lack of time tomorrow!
  12. wow great performance!! your playing is tight and sightreading is top of the line, and standing makes playing a bit more challenging than sitting (let's admit it) what are you using to show the data in the right bottom angle? is it active while you are playing? I used Rocksniffer GUI but that is not working properly anymore. And I removed the dust from Rock Buddy when we talked about it some weeks ago.
  13. when u s*ck so much at the solo that Rocksmith scales down automatically the difficulty for you while u are playing nice one, all the song, and even more the initial riff!
  14. oh yes the power metal week!! (+Taylor swift) Love my Rhapsody. I grew with them, and the Blind. I love their melodies and riffs. I saw them live a couple of times, the last one on their farewell tour in 2018. for the king for the land for the mountains, forever (I know that are silly lyrics but it's the mood!!) Also, Helloweeeeen And Nightwish, also great!!! I remember trying to do "she is a sin" with my first group in high school (they sound heavier in this song, maybe because they were in a second phase in 2007? I stopped listening to them after the Tarja left) Score will come soon, I was interrupted by my son PS: I forgot Royal Blood, but they have a great energy too!!
  15. yes I'm aware , and I'm not saying that they didn't do something incredible in their years. They founded a genre, and I've always loved a lot of their songs and grow up with them. But: they industrialized their music, like a factory. It's like Assassin Creed sequels. No soul and no innovation, just pumping out new similar albums their songwriting is very simple and repetitive. It's not a crime, but when you dilute your songs so much, and industrialized them, it's not very attractive some songs didn't age very well the same with rhythm
  16. it has always been a very simple but fun song to play!! this is a very strange, very weird song the riff is a bit counterintuitive because you almost can't hear it while the bass is pumped up and it takes another road
  17. love wolfmother, unique sound and vibes I never heard this, so good to know, even if it's a strange song thinking about AC/DC. Nice riffs but very repetitive funny Always loved this song good energy! MC songs and rhythm songs for tomorrow!
  18. Incredible Week!!! And incredible achievement.. 10 years is a lot!! I've started in week 437 or so and it seems a lifetime ago so I can't imagine from week 17!!! @ Rodman but why week 17 in your screenshot? there wasn't a week 1? just a curiosity I'll start playing all these songs as soon as the family allows me
