I remember this being on a tv commercial in target when i visited the us ages ago almost always. i like it lol nice surprise of a song! pretty easy and fun i think the intros chords for rhythm are off? like copied pasted in the wrong section or something. always good to have some steel panther lol fun song, i think it could be easier played if he had moved some notes to other strings instead...also i dont remember seeing any open notes? thought the lowest was a 2 so im not sure why not just do e standard..but i guess he has other songs in d standard and thats why..who knows.

HAPPY NEW YEARS EVERYONE!!! hope you all had a nice celebration and hope we continue to get better at guitar/bass bassline for this song reminds me of a 2000s song that was popular and always on the radio but i couldnt find it tricky song but fun good to see eddie van halens sons band here very interesting to see metal + electronic reimerge again. it used to be what i grew up listening to..used to be called post hardcore. but its good brings memories didnt know they still made music pretty neat by far my favorite song of this week even if its not usualy what id listen to. really fun to play and not too fast so its doable with practice imoglad to see metallica in lower difficulties. also always interesting to see what notes the bass player mimics the guitar player and which ones he doesnt

I played ghost a couple times more and somehow played it worse xD i do like it and will keep it tho i thought i had read stevie wonder before playing the song i was like hmm this is different.. fast riffs made me repeat the song before i finished cause i lost. good to see more challenging songs in bass.

interesting midddle 8 thing towards the end..sounded like greenday almost or another pop rock band for a sec. good song fun to play i dont really hear the arpeggios that are tabbed in the rhythm section..i do like the lead path though might try it again later

i dont get it...whats wrong with rr? is there some exploit that im not aware of? only thing i can think of is doing rr and quitting the game session and maybe that gets a high percent... but the streak would be low so it would be obvious that its not the whole song or am i missing something?

forgot they had made a cover of depeche mode! great begginer song, and the original is a clasic. i think i forgot to take a picture of lead but it was 99 I never knew the band that made this song havent heard it in ages but brought some memories. lead is kinda hard to get a good score for me there was another version of this song aswell by another charter dont remember if i mentioned it when submitting..its been a while/ havent played the other one again since.. but i guess ramens was the one i liked more. Never really listened too much of them but i always liked the solo in this one which is a surprise cause i dont usualy like solos. ill try to get a better score lead.

i know the competition finished for this week but i still wanted to play them /share scores even if they wont count/ arent higher than winners classic song! wasnt aware that it was on cf the arping bass was a surprise towards the end for the bass bringed me back memories of playing megadeth in rocksmith1 good times. I really liked this one! lots of differnet techniques. a shame its kinda lenghty my mind wanders too much for it. but theres definately nice sections in it.

pretty tough bassline even with the update imo. i think this song is slightly easier for bass than the kaiser chief one. the chorus reminds me of a more popular song but cant think of what the name could be...but yea the guitar riff melody sounds very familiar.

its been a while.. i enjoy this song...even if alot of blink 182 songs are really similar, if i t works dont change it i guess. dont think i have heard this album from foo fighters yet? song reminded me alot of holy diver by d.i.o or the version i have played more being cover by killswitch. both are apparently offical dlc..never learnt how to play either but i bought it now cause this song made me want to learn it. never would have imagined a s,ashing pumpkins song to be this hard.. although some of the notes in the lead path do seem a bit inhumane i think...but maybe not and i just need practice. this one reminded me of a james bond song.. pretty cool. tried to play the guitar and i failed.

some small improvements!

I unfortunately got covid this week..That meant i had time to play this week though! i took too long to screenshot i know it doesnt count i forgot i had suggested this song! the first two paths are pretty repetitive and so is the lead to a certain extent but i find the lead fun to play and i thought it was a good chart . solo caught me off. cool yea this one is the more interesting bass path for beginners/challenge i think its been awhile for the metalcore riffs gotta get good. honestly a nice surprise/ fav this week. will play it more

Good to see blink 182 again! hadnt heard or played this song . was fun, think the bass goes a bit off in some sections though? Hopefull we get the newer stuff on the competition aswell since dell and other creators have already tabbed it Not sure if im getting worse or if yall geting good. fun song will keep, not sure i can get higher though for now.

@ BubbleWrapDragon yea i agree, i prefer it when songs in the competition have decent riff repeater, itmakes it easier and more inviting/friendly to practice it/get better scores. Again... since i dont have a windows pc anymore i might be talking out of my butt... i think cfsm tool fixes rr sections. it just recreates a psarc with more sections... i believe you can also achieve this by using the dlc builder tool, you drag the psarc into the application / switch some riff repeating settings in the config page and then repack it and youre good to go......buuut since dlc builder is no longer available for my mac os i can't confirm this. or alternatively you can also post a comment on the creators cdlc (always nice when people let the creators know any issues imo)..sometimes they are responsive and update it sometimes they are away..doesnt hurt to try tho

unfortunatley i have to go to work now and wont be back till late so it doesnt look like ill play the songs in my level. great to see casopiea got picked though! i choose it as a meme lol its way beyond my level (i do like the song though) and its what i would like masterclass to be like. ill still give it a try later tonight even if it wont count. crazzy to see razorshreds score on it! grats!

@ Basilton Unfortunately packs are not allowed on customsforge (i think itd be ideal but I also understand that it might be messy since sometimes people update the songs alot cause of several mistakes or just quality updates) When I made the spotify list searching by tags didnt exist. Now it kinda does as long as the user is still active and has updated the post with tags. in order to search for songs with tags ( genres) click the filters button in search ignition. looks like a funnel/ upside down pyramid. then choose the genre you want to be filtered so in this case i guess jazz. and then unfortunatley dl them one by one. Also, yea some users go innactive and sadly their content goes with them aswell, aka links dont work so it gets removed. Not too sure what would be the best way to do the spotify playlists..think itd be easier if it could just be an option to add to playlist when submitting psarc onto website but no approval yet on that. maybe just make the spotify playlists collaborative? so that anyone can add..problem is might get some trolls who delete it all.. idk well see.. open for suggestions if anyone has some. ok Lastly, you can use scotts app (a user created app that automatically searches songs from your spotify account to whats on the database of the website) so all you have to do is press a heart on the playlist (or use any of your own playlists) and then use his app to see if the songs are on. If you dont feel comfortable with using your paid spotify account for x reasons you can also just create a free spotify account and it will work just the same. I think im going to start just posting a couple of pics from now on cause it seems like i dont get enough freetime to play them all at once anymore which is a shame cause i really liked last weeks songs. thanks for the selections this week @ aNDESmASAMUNE !! and congrats for it being your firstweeks picks! yea i like this cdlc had played it before and had considered suggesting it i guess i just never got around doing so. i agree with bubble that rhythm is easier than lead. lead the solo just catches me off by surprise all the time i think the bass is rating a bit high on this one felt like the sameish level as fascination street. not a fan of the tone a bit loud and i was getting alot of misses but maybe im just bad. decent song though! never heard this song from them before it was fun!

@ fripponomic thanks for the update! it's cool to see people have their bands on the site, i only knew about snowshovel but im sure theres way more on here. as for leading silence: From what i recall if you add leading silence (10s for official according to firekorn but any is fine ) the notes should still be in the same part of the song (no need to shift anything). You would then just need to add the empty bar (or bars?) at the start for the count in Beat (menu top, 6th one?) -> Push offset back (click it 4 times to make 1 bar) and you should be good, nothing else but to save and repack it with new audio and files.. but then again i dont have a windows computer to see if I'm giving right information so i might be wrong
