  1. It is against forum rules to post a custom of Sunshine of Your Love because it is an official song from the first game. It is a bit unfortunate that the song did not cross over officially to RS14 (Jules by Seth Chapla did not come to RS14 either). Just one of those things :(
  2. http://customsforge.com/page/customsforge_rs_2014_cdlc.html/_/pc-enabled-rs-2014-cdlc/empty-rooms-live-r24980 Enjoy :D
  3. Can you not dowload free Amp Simulation plug ins for Audacity? http://www.audacityteam.org/download/plug-ins/ http://www.hitsquad.com/smm/win95/PLUGINS_VST/ http://www.hitsquad.com/smm/programs/SimulAnalog/ That's probaly gonna be a lot less painful than frankensteining some way of using Rocksmith tones. Enjoy :D
  4. I have a full sized one. They are supposed to be bombproof. Well at a party one night I managed to break it (probably jumping on it drunk). Shop changed it for a new one no bother and apologised  Have fun :D
  5. Feel the cheese http://customsforge.com/page/customsforge_rs_2014_cdlc.html/_/pc-enabled-rs-2014-cdlc/girl-crush-live-r18919 Enjoy :D
  6. There is a lot of this going on, I think it's a bug with the newest Wwise (it has Set Table Granularity as 16384 as default, but it's not actually set on that). Try downloading the 2013 version of Wwise (you can do this from the official website) and make the .wems again. If you get the 2013 version the toolkit can convert the audio for you automatically.
  7. I changed my post. I actually suggested turning the accents on... I just got muddled up before. If it's not the accents then I'm lost I'm afraid. I would try turning specific notes accents' on off and testing. If you say you are sure fair enough, it's not a problem I have encountered personally. There are other methods of getting results - using crazy status and having the double stop which is linknext'd onto as two separate notes, so close together as the eye cannot tell but the game knows. Linknext effectively turns note heads off. The accent causes a "glitch" and forces it to draw a head anyway. At least that's my theory... I've been wrong before :D
  8. The other difference is that the green notes in "2" are accented. Accents do not work on all types of notes (for example you get gfx glitches if you accent a pre-bend). I would expect the head to be missing as it has linknext status, the accent is probably causing a glitch that makes it appear. Try turning the accents on. Shortcut is Ctrl+Shift+A.
  9. I've stuck a few differently tuned parts together to make for a more complete experience in Rocksmith. It can definitely be a head scratcher :D Keep at it man, you'll get there. If you do get stuck, upload the .gp5 and I will have a look.
  10. It could be a million things. First questions I would ask are - Can you play other people's customs ok? - Did the Toolkit spit out any errors when you Generated it?
  11. Shortcut is Shift+N, saves soooooo much time if you are doing lots :D
  12. I have no objection to the removal of the warning displayed if a handshape phrase only has one note in it. I agree with double stops on bass strings have a chord name, and those on treble strings do not. If it's easier, by default turn them off. Why I really posted, rock G should have auto fingering 3 3 0 0 2 3 should have auto fingering 4 3 X X 1 2 Thanks :D
  13. I found an install of 2013 Wwise on a backup disc and tried that... worked perfect :D https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B2oZs0ta32KyU0NGMFFaUUMxOVk/view?usp=sharing There are working .wem files for you to do your own thing, or a working .psarc that I made with my own tones. To me, there is a tonne of work to do on that. The tabs need fixing (hammer ons and slides) and I would fine tune the audio/tones levels, and maybe try out some alternate tones altogether. Sounds pretty nice already though, enjoy :D Moral of the story... find yourself an older version of Wwise. Many people have done this, read in the Toolkit thread for versions that are compatible with the toolkit (auto conversion) and where to find them.
  14. It's an audio problem. Did you convert the .wavs to .wems manually or let the Toolkit do it? I actually took a liking to the song and tried to fix it but I couldn't. I think the newest Wwise is creating incompatible .wems. I have never had this trouble before, but I recently reset Windows so I just downloaded the lastest Wwise and converted your unpacked .wav files. Both .wavs played fine using a media player but when I convert them manually to .wem using the lastest Wwise (something I have done literally 100s of times and even very drunk) the game behaves the same as your description. I need to look into this further myself, for now I would download an older version of Wwise (you can do this using the Wwise web installer) and convert the audio again. I originally presumed you missed the "Set Table Granularity to 16384", but the 2016 Wwise seems to be on this by default. Try an older Wwise for now, maybe the 2013 version and the the Toolkit can convert it automatically for you.
  15. As for the tones, just use a tone from a song you like. The toolkit can import tones directly from .psarcs, including official dlc. By all means, mess about with the parameters once you are close to the intended goal, but just get in the correct park first :D
  16. Or post specific questions. If you are clear in what you are asking, and maybe post some screens, you'll get pretty comprehensive help on here. The problem I had when I started was not finding out how to do stuff (cause I would ask and I'd get an answer) but actually knowing what was possible. For example, when you use a new Paint program you pretty much know what it can do, it's just a case of findign the specific commands. When you use a new spreadsheet program its the same, you know what function you want and you check the manual to find out how to implement it in that particular program. The problem I had with EoF was that I had never used a program anything like it, so it wasn't a case of knowing what I wanted and finding the command for it, it was more a constant discovery the more I used it. Point: just ask if you get stuck :D
  17. Yeah, boot a virtual pc on your mac :D
  18. Or could it be unsnapped notes and a tail is going 1 or 2 ms into the next section?
  19. As raynebc says it cannot be helped. I've got a pretty decent rig that can zip through modern games, and I have to stop/start every so often. Trust the visuals when syncing. If you are making modern metal type music where the audio graph is basically a rectangle then using visuals can be difficult, but usually in most songs there are clear places on the audio graph where drums are hitting (usually snares), choruses are kicking in/ending, solos begin and lots of other visual cues. Or, as raynebc also says, you will be hitting the space bar constantly anyway to drag beat markers about. Then the audio/visuals will stay in relatively good sync. I'm so used to it now I hardly notice (or simply don't worry), but I always rely more on where the beat markers are in relation to the audio graph rather than the actual audio.
  20. I believe the setting you missed in Wwise is "Set Table Granularity to 16384". Just do what Rockfirtlast says above and make life easy on yourself :D
  21. There is a XML file in the Toolkit folder that holds all the tuning info. It sounds like you have edited it. You can manually edit it to be "correct" again, but I would just delete the entire Toolkit folder and download it again. There are maybe quicker and/or more elegant solutions, but that will certainly get the job done :D
  22. Steam have started banning screenshots from CDLC. May be the start of it...
  23. I did answer the question. There is far more to using CDLC than knowing the correct file paths, especially if problems are encountered and the secondary or third way of using CDLCs is required. And further problems may be encountered if the poster does not own Cherub Rock. All is explained in the tutorials section.
  24. Look in the tutorials section of this website for how to use CDLC. Everything (including file paths) are documented there.
