Answer: you need steam 600MB is practically nothing, it doesn't use much cpu, You can close right after you stop playing RS, Just a pro tip, don't tick the setting 'start up Steam at PC start'

remastered_error.log: The tunings that don't work are the where CFSM displays the song tuning as custom tuning indeed, and that would be C Drop Bb, that would be -6 -4 -4 -4 -4 -4 (frets) The lowest tuning in the .xml seems to be C standard Live feed: I'm gonna try to add the tuning manually and try repair

Allright, I cleaned the vent inside and also redid the thermal compound to be sure. Everything works again now :D CPU usage back to 100% (the problem was probably more that the speed was only going till 1,2 GHz and now it's back to 2,6 GHz as it should) Thanks for the feedback ^^

http://imgur.com/a/QrHgq The image shows a screenshot of my task manager that shows my cpu is only using 46% maximum while I'm running Overwatch, Vegas pro 12 while rendering, media player, skype, chrome ... (just to stress test to see if it could go above) Monday it all worked fine, tuesday it broke, my renders now take 2h to finish ... :'( And with fine I mean, it used to go all the way 99% cpu usage This one shows the Hardware monitor http://imgur.com/a/RVPT3 that says the load is 100% but task manager says only 46%, and my render is going half as slow as it used to Can someone explain and how to fix this?

Use a new album artwork image file (try using 512x512 jpg format). The toolkit doesn't like the image you are using. Allright, that worked, thanks alot. (I've used alot of different formats through the years and usually it works for the toolkit, but I guess this one was to big) As feedback for the toolkit: Can we maybe make the error say 'Use another image'? cause I can't get that from the text in the error :/ -

Yeah I came to say, Rise Against, Rise Against, Rise Against, the lead part uses alot of octaves and sometimes there are slides, they also use pick scrapes alooooot, you can check out all the Rise Against playthroughs at my channel. Go to my channel then playlist, and then choose Rise Against - Rocksmith -> play all From heads unworthy has some Blood to bleed has alot octaves, tab doesnt show slides, but you could slide to next chord I guess The violence has octave slides Black market has octave slides Hairline fracture has alot of octave slides My life inside your heart has alot of octaves slides in the rythm guitar (I'd put that in lead actually but I didn't make CDLC) The rest you'll have to check for yourself Also 1985 by bowling soup also uses octave slides alot

I've updated both EoF and toolkit to latest versions, redid DDC with newest versions, didn't help I checked the arrangements (vocals too) for any special stuff but everything looks good, I tried another CDLC, also the same error. They both have a really low tuning C Drop Bb Fixed tho, could that be something? -
And it would probably help if you run the CFSM on all your customs at once, with the 'Fix' option with the add DDC function

You can easily add sections, if you just use the DDC. This is what I to fix my wonky camera. People can add DDC themselves if needed with the CFSM. (Or you if you want to update your CDLC, just download your CDLC .psarc and update them with CFSM and reupload) Since the remastered version there is really no reason to not add DDC, cause we can just put the ''Always to 100%'' settings on. (''Override to max'' is what its called iirc)

That might be if you are using the CFSM 'remastered fix' If you run some corrupted CDLC get removed out of your library and into a seperate folder, they are still in your RS folders just in the 'corrupt' folder :d -

@@Alex360 Intresting that there is an option for japanese versions :P And how about pop up windows that only pop up if their is backup vocals? I think RS1 had these kind of things to display info about the song? Does something like that still exist?

Allright, just a idea I just got watching some RS videos: Would it be possible to show which lyrics are sung by a backup vocalist in RS? (like a guitarist or bassist) Why? Alot of songs use a backup vocalist to add effect to the last word of a sentence, this overlapse with the lead singer. There is no way to currently show this in RS (Apart from useing these " ( text ) " ) But we still can't have 2 words at the same time then. As RS is for mostly made for guitarists, wouldn't it be nice if we could see what the guitarist is singing? How? 1) Is it possible to duplicate the lyrics box? put it under there, or at the right? And then create 2 lyric files, each a side 2) Is it possible to add colouring to certain words to show its the backup singer? > wouldn't work if the 2 singers are singing completly different sentences (Like the songs I'm working on now) Can it be done? or is this more a feature I should mention no the official forums?

As far as creativeness with other musicians (jamming) you just have to agree on which scale you will be playing, for example Pentatonic Major in B, (you both should know this scale from memory then) and then you can jam together. As far as synchronizing with other musicians, set up a metronome or drum track on your pc, so both of you can keep in rythm.

Uhm so yeah what do you want to accomplish with your lessons? what is your goal? If you have none or just want to improve your general guitar skills, just do what you're doing. For me my goals are to play a song good enough with the notes visible, and after that playing the song from memory. To do that memory stuff, you break up the song in sections and practice them one by one. And once you got them all, memorize the song structure and play the sections after each other. Then you learned the song, and move on to the next song. You can repeat the song the next day or week. To make sure you don't forget it.
