Are you on a console?!?! How did you mod the game to transfer cdlcs?? or are just using an xbox controller on pc?

I hate it when my fingers grind on the strings when doing slides. I would like to keep them as slidey as they feel the first 2-3 days or so. How do you guys clean/maintain your strings? Ive heard that you can use fretboard oil on the 3 unwound strings to keep them sleek and slidey but i dont know if i should use mine on the strings.

@@NoonyDeloony I dont really mind going to MC (if it happens) cause I find pushing myself to 100% songs more productive than just playing without a goal and since the mc guys are way out of my league, me thinks ill have to become a tryhard :p Assuming, of course, i rank up

When do you reckon it will become available for the rest of us (even in a beta or alpha state)?

@@MaZtoR I have the latest version of the only black velvet cdlc on the site. But dont go too deep into it,i just suck at bass and probably most of my notes were recognized as late or early in score attack or something like that :p

LOL, wth, i started posting scores and i didnt even tell the organizers what class i choose since its my first participation. In case you didnt guess i would like to start at advanced unless you guys want to put me somewhere else. Im sorry if this caused any trouble but i was excited. This is my first time i ever compete with people on a musical level. :p

This is my current score on Advanced class bass arrangement with the song Black Velvet by Alannah Myles. Dragonforce songs, slowest i have ever seen :p If you want something for a change try BB King's Lucile, the whole song is made like a solo and the lyrics are like an autobiography of bb king. The song might be a solo but a lot of it is slow and you will train your pinky a lot. At least thats what i did last year when i started! Hope it helps

I know, I know I asked about the championship earlier but I have a new question. After I post my score I wandered if theres a leaderboard to see who are the best here and see how the scoring system works. Also if you win your class for the week do you get to suggest the next song in your class because thats what I understood from the rules section :p

Before my progress loss (it is as bad as it sounds :( ) Megadeth's She Wolf was my top played song with 41 tries and now with new profile its Electric Eye by Judas Priest about 34 times folloed by Megadeth's - In my darkest hour with like 20 tries :P

Muse's Knights Of Cydonia. Idk it instantly impressed me with its musical and tonal variety. Plus the last 1 and a half minute riff is freakin badass!

Goddamnit!!! I broke my E string while tuning to standard :( And I had this bad feeling today, i was afraid to even bend it too much and now I broke it. Probably from switching so many tunings today to participate on this championship :D Wost part is im at my village at my uncles and grandmother's so my city is a bit far and i cant make my uncle drive for like 40 minutes to go to the shop :( My first time ever here and my luck decided to screw me over :D But thats alright, i at least managed to get my advanced song entry before it broke good luck to everybody !

First of all I would like to say this community is amazing. But lets get to whats troubling me. I know that to enter i need to obey the rules. Fine. I can do that. But then?? From what I understand, i choose a song from this link http://customsforge.com/topic/31059-rocksmith-2014-championship-week-145/ (Or whatever link is there for the corresponding week) and I play it until i get the best score possible, take a screenshot and then what?? This is where i get stuck! I would appreciate some help. Thanks :p
