  1. Beginner Lead http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=551460747#_=_ Tiny bit more progress. I can play the double stop riff at 80% speed almost flawlessly, but as soon as I try it in the song my fingers herp derp. I tried love that's gone and yeah I don't see myself play it anytime soon. I'm not very good with some chord voicings and I have a very difficult time getting the finger tip joint of my ring finger to actually bend. It bends more now than it used to, but I did a lot of damage to it back in the day bowling. I think it is slowly getting some mobility back, but it's been very slow.
  2. Beginner Lead http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=551002627#_=_ A little bit of progress. I've spent a lot of time in Riff Repeater working on that double stop lick. I was hoping to progress just a bit more. Good thing there is still the rest of the week ;)
  3. Beginner Lead http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=550122305#_=_ I should get this better, just have to work on the middle part. The Riff is cake.
  4. DOH! That makes sense. Sorry, I was picking them up if I didn't have them and that's how it came up.
  5. @frippchen Intermediate: La Sera - Love That's Gone (5) comes up as an official dlc in the cdlc for me.
  6. Out of curiosity, what does the asterisk mean on the leaderboard? I see a lot of nice scores well done all.
  7. Wish I could afford song packs at the moment as I'd probably pick this up. I'm not huge on bowie, but the three other songs are pretty sweet especially to try and play.
  8. Beginner Lead http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=547631856#_=_ Advanced Lead http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=547643165#_=_ I did the advanced lead to show that I do work on things out of my range in order to get better, besides it's Judas Priest so it had to be done :)
  9. Yes and Purson, Blood Ceremony, with the dead, Horisont, Orchid, Mount Salem etc etc.
  10. Beginner Lead http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=546988550#_=_ Slowly getting my speed up there. Easy song, just fast.
  11. @ That tip was awesome. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=546407854#_=_ My main issue is I'm slightly behind speed wise on the riff and I want to look at my fingers. I have a very bad habit of always wanting to look at the fretboard. I guess I just don't trust my fingers. Will work on it more later in the week. It's not difficult at all, just a bit faster than I'm used to i guess.
  12. Just put it in the SSL!!!!!! (link in my post above) I added it. I don't know if I put it in the right place, but since it looked like it was sorted by difficulty I put it where I thought it might go difficulty wise. If I did it incorrectly I apologize. BTW glad to have joined you guys and gals, just wish I could play better :)
  13. @ I'm just trying to base it off what I've seen so far which isn't much since I've only been here for two weeks. I found it fairly easy, but then it's a song right up my alley. I think it's a bit easier than God Is Dead. If it's too easy I apologize, I was just trying to come up with a suggestion.
  14. @@Rodman I think She Rides by Danzig would be a good beginner song. RR works and has lead and Bass. It's probably a 1 on skill level. Check it out and see if it will fit.
  15. Halloween nothing, it's my 20th Wedding Anniversary :P
  16. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=545125122#_=_ Best I could do in the alloted time. I can get it better, but it would take longer than a week. I'm a bit disappointed as I felt like I had the song down fairly well minus the second part of the solo and one other part that kept messing me up that shouldn't have.
  17. @@Sargas94 Welcome aboard! I'm new as well just started the championship last week. Nice scores man I'm quite jealous.
  18. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=543276392#_=_ I knew I could get 90+. I think this song is much easier, at least for me, than the french one from week 104. There is a major difference in speed from 95% to 100% in riff repeater it seems like. I made a ummm small run at Secular Haze just on the lowest difficulty. Glad I'm not playing that yet :P Although I do love Ghost.
  19. Seriously! I thought my >97 would at least keep me at the top through this afternoon! I jammed a bunch today, so I'm musicked out for now. I want to just chill out and play some Tales of Zestiria tonight. You win this round, @...!! :D Re: Replacing strings, I can't help but replace my strings all the time... I break my high E once every month or two. :sob: I'm so bad that I buy multiple sets at a time now. I can't help it, I play hard... I tend to snap the b string. Also enter random G string joke.
  20. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=542215958#_=_ I think I can get this one over 90%. I find this to be easier than the song from last week, week 104, as a whole. It does have some tricky parts, but some work with riff repeater slowing it down should help.
  21. I just assumed one would take the old strings off first. That's what I do.
  22. I personally would clean it up and then restring it.
  23. http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198033869419/screenshots/ It deleveled me. I'm going to keep at it and see if I can do better. This song is a bit difficult for me. I hope I did all this right. Also any suggestions on how you guys learn the song would be appreciated. It moves around a lot and I tend to look at my fretboard an awful lot which naturally slows me down. I thought I'd give it a try though.
