  1. Saw that coming. I'm telling ya, you're headed there... it is becoming an addiction ... As I said, I tried many years ago. had an entire wood working shop at my disposal, was an abysmal failure. Actually tho, few years ago, I already headed back down that rabbit hole. I just haven't had the time, and worse the area or room to work on one. I bought a couple slabs of timber. One is a chunk of purple heart wood, I intend on using for a short scale bass. I have a slab of bubinga for a neck. Honestly don't remember what the other chunks for bodies are. I got a couple coping saws, chisels, have most of the hardware, think only thing I need are tuning pegs. I have not been ambitious about starting it, and like I said, I just do not have the room to dedicate to making another.
  2. If you have the current D3Dx_42.dll, and above all is true/correct, make sure you don't have your songs filtered [ALT key] i.e. filtered to favorites only, or song list 1, etc and such forth.
  3. Currently no. And I would not hold your breath. (This was just asked) As I have stated in previous threads, and previous times, Riff Repeater put together a list of DLC songs for RS1. If you look at it you will see what songs delist next. This maybe the last chance to get them. As other songs delisted with the intro of RS2014 that did not make it over, again, I would not hold your breath. Nor would I wait for them to go on sale. I have not seen any RS1 oDLC go on sale since before the licenses started expiring. https://theriffrepeater.com/rocksmith-2014-setlist/rocksmith-dlc/
  4. Purchase them before they delist. Sounds cold and harsh, but that is the reality of it. As of for now, Once they are gone, they are gone. Any discussion of how to share or otherwise is a violation of this sites piracy rules. You can see if someone uploaded a play through on youtube and play along with that as someone else suggested and as I have done. The songs were available for 10 years. I myself was not aware Ubi was pulling them and missed a couple. This has been answered several times already. Please read this: And check out Riff Repeater's list that lists all the songs that Ubi is going to list and see what is there, what songs you will want before they are unobtainable: https://theriffrepeater.com/rocksmith-2014-setlist/rocksmith-dlc/
  5. I don't know why you are getting a link like that. As Nick Beat said, I am assuming it is a pop up blocker causing problems for you. Try this link and select the mac DL see if that works for you: https://ignition4.customsforge.com/cdlc/71775 https://drive.google.com/file/d/1OCskIY_8YCrbglKjRIjSIi_svVHjie7c/view
  6. As Smitty said it was an oDLC. This has been addressed numerous times in this thread alone. Please read:
  7. If you are looking at your Steam Purchases through your Steam Account, you can us the Ctrl+F function and search for Pearl. If you bought it as the song pack, it will only show as the song pack and not list the 3 songs individually. A copy of your receipt is also emailed to you. If you have saved these emails, you can search your emails as well. Make sure that you don't have the search function in game to sort and hide songs through the Filter (i.e. Favorites, Song List 1, etc) and it is set to All Songs.
  8. correct. It leaving the store does not effect your already purchased content. It should be there some where. If you have original Rocksmith installed in Steam, you will see your DLC there on the (original) Rocksmith page in your library under DLC. In the library, it will not show up under Rocksmith 2014 DLC. In game you can search using the SHIFT button. (if you bought the entire pack, you will also have "Alive" as well)
  9. Before verifying the game files, remove the D3Dx942.dll file to a different location for the time being. Maybe it is corrupted or for whatever reason the wrong version replaced it. To verify the game files: From the Steam Launcher, right-click on the game from the Library and select Properties from the menu. Select the Local files tab and click Verify integrity of game files... Steam will verify the game's files. This process may take several minutes. Once the process is completed, the Check Window will automatically exit. See if the game works with out CDLC or the .dll. The cloud sync will be on the Rocksmith 2014 page in the library, next to the play button. if it is not up to date that button will be able to be clicked. If you are using the Beta 'incaseweneedit" version, you will need the older .dll. if you reinstall and use the current updated version of Rocksmith, you will need the newer .dll to play the cdlc.
  10. I don't see that having an effect on your Ubi log in. have you tried verifying files for Rocksmith, or using the cloud sync from the library?
  11. I was asking so to know if you had replaced the .dll since the update in September. Mine was doing this when the update would not work with the old .dll. Have you played on a different computer or a console with the same log in since last week, or was last week on a different device then what you are trying to log into now?
  12. When was the last time that you played Rocksmith before this attempt
  13. You will have to petition Admin on this as Yellow is oDLC still available in the Steam Store. I am neither Admin or a Moderator, but have a look at the Site Guidlines: https://customsforge.com/index.php?/guidelines/ No posting of official Rocksmith 1 or Rocksmith 2014 official content. That means included songs and official DLC. Live versions of official content are also not allowed. Live versions of DLC songs that did not make it over to 2014 from the original Rocksmith are allowed as long as it doesn't copy the original chart. No posting of modifications to official Rocksmith 1 or 2014 tracks, this includes chart changes, tuning fixes, or multi-track versions. only thing I see as being original is Davie's solo. The tones can be manipulated in game. That is just my opinion.
  14. Make sure the old .dll is removed from running the first try, they conflict with each other.
  15. I didn't mean to high jack the thread lolz. Most of this is went over my head higher and faster than an SR71. I have looked at some of your guides a while ago, was more than interested. I saw where it can be fickle, I downloaded a couple here and there. I'd end up going overboard, and it is time better spent getting a CDLC actually working. I'd endup spending more time drooling over cartoon chics than practicing. But man, those were/are some fine lookin anime babes ya got on there. (gawd im too old to be a weeb)
  16. Some of the best looking fret markers I've ever seen ...
  17. It expired 2 days ago. Please scroll back up this page to Hippapo's request for Three Days Grace - I Hate Everything About You from yesterday. Then Please read this:
  18. If you were able to add the justin code, it should be in the drop down list under betas where you added the code. Would be the top slot there, code slot being under. Pull the drop down list and select previous version if it is actually unlocked. Updating Steam itself should have done nothing to Rocksmith, it is independent of the Steam update. Steam updates automatically as well when you log in, to my knowledge it is unavoidable if you are connected to the net. (Which is why the kids would have needed to do so in order to add a new game). Nevertheless, it should not have effected the Rocksmith install. IF you are using the Beta, you will need the previous .dll. The beta will not work with new .dll. Versa Vice, the new install will not work with the old .dll. I am told that the post September update is fine and working well with the new .dll, so you should be good to go using the updated version if you can not get the roll back to work. I myself am still using the beta and have no intention of rolling forward until forced to do so, so I can not confirm this. I don't want to see their what's new propaganda adverts for their crap Rocksmith - . I can understand clinging on to the old version. If you are having this much trouble, and made changes to the appmainfest (I don't know what that was) I am betting you are going to have to hold out for other help.
  19. Makes sense. Metal bar would be more ridged, but that is a smart idea with the black walnut. Pretty resourceful, and looks like a fun project.
  20. The oDLC for three Days Grace - I Hate Everything About You was DLC for RS2011. It delisted Nov 29, 2021, the for some reason was Ubisoft's license agreement expired. When purchased, it goes to RS2011. Yes, when purchased, it was able to be used for RS2014. As i said already tho, it is not in RS2014 format. There are still 4 Three Days Grace songs that are RS2014. "Animal I Have Become", "Break", “Just Like You”, “Never Too Late” and "Riot". I do not know what you saw on the web, or on your search engine. However, if you saw "custom made maps... that [were] oDLC" I am more than fairly certain that they did not come from this site, as put by an Admin and by moderators, "It is the same as has always been the case since day one of CustomsForge with content that was licensed but not purchasable due to the licenses expiring or not being renewed - eg - the Eric Clapton / Cream content from RS1 days. (ZagatoZee)" I am not an Admin, I am not a Mod. I am just providing you with information. This has been covered numerous times already in this thread and other threads.
  21. I don't know how I missed this thread last year when you started the first one. I found the thread couple weeks ago. I am glad for you that you did a second one. If you are not careful, this will lead to a third one, a fourth one, then your thirtieth guitar. Then you will have to open Rodman's Guitars shop. Next thread tho, you will have to change the title as you can no longer claim zero wood working experience , Let me say, this is not an easy thing to do, experience or no experience. Back when I was a teen, I found an article in a popular magazine on how to build one. The article included a lot of detail. When I got to my first duty station in the Army, I made a trip to Warmoth Guitars in Puyallup WA and bought a nice slab of mahogany and a truss rod, and a bunch of hardware from Cramer (pickups, tuners). I then made several trips when i was in garrison to the base woodworking shop and spent quite a bit of time hacking out a body and started on the neck. The body turned out great. The neck was a complete failure. couple years ago, I bought some nice wood to do another project. Time, lack of work area, lack of tools, and the complete worry of another failure has kept me from attempting another go at attempting another build. Hats off to you. It is one thing to build one that looks like a guitar, complete different story having one that is playable. Building these is not as easy as people make it out to be. (I'm surprised I still have both my thumbs.)
  22. Interesting, looks fantastic. Not for this, but I wish I had a 3D printer. I have to ask, not being a buzz kill or critic, but true concern, is there enough material in the neck pocket to keep it from flexing and or warping under tension?
  23. Uploading the original would be violation of site piracy rules, that goes for any oDLC. Minor mention point, it would be For RS1 (RS2011) and not RS2014 and would not work anyways. Any further discussion of that also would run afoul of the piracy rule. Please read this in its entirety: There are other options, but your youtube suggestion is your best one at the moment.
  24. there is also one marked backing track. I have not DLed it or tried it. https://ignition4.customsforge.com/cdlc/19849
