  1. I think that the reason for their absence here is largely down to the fact that despite the huge crowds that that music draws, it is a regional thing and isn't actually known or followed outside of its niche. There are tons of Christian bands that are popular (Black Sabbath, for instance), but they aren't marketed towards and do not tour with the acts that you are referring to. Someone actually did a pretty fascinating ama on reddit about this recently (it was an atheist backup singer who toured with several important acts on that circuit).
  2. There is very little roots reggae, as well. Hell, there are more genres under-represented than there are represented. Looks like we have some work to do ;) I chalk the lack of variety to a combination of the limited experience of youth, and the total lack of tab for the less popular musics.
  3. Oh sweet!! I will give this a shot and get back to you asap (probably tomorrow).
  4. Another step closer to my old high score (Still trying...) : http://cloud-4.steampowered.com/ugc/613917745852702234/89EE93D4C1409666D93C6A8BE45B03D98C8B94E5/
  5. You are absolutely right, but maybe in a more complicated way than you are aware. The trick is getting the song synched while keeping all of the notes on the appropriate beat markers. A few tricks that help with this: - As a rule, don't move notes to match the beat, move beats to match the beat, leave the notes alone so that they preserve their relative rhythm - If you are importing tab, then start synching at the beginning of the song and move to the end - DON"T SKIP FORWARD. When you double back you will find that your notes have all slipped off their marks - If your notes do slip slightly, turn on your grid snap to 1/16 (for most songs), select all of the notes, and press ctrl+r (resnap) Once you start figuring out the tricks, then the beats will start making more sense, and DDC will start working properly.
  6. I don't know if it helps your performance, but it sure helps with hearing yourself clearly.
  7. All links above are now live - dig in :)
  8. OMFG - these songs were around for rs1?? Man - what a cool lineup - thanks for doing this!
  9. Well...I still can't match my old high score, but I got my note streak up a bit anyway http://cloud-4.steampowered.com/ugc/615043562028923851/CE2B5FBB08ABB967C60726C785053E13D1AA5B6E/

This is the best I have done - I'm gonna keep at it :) (Sorry its in learn a song - half of the song has no bass and that's a long sit :) )
  11. I can't seem to post from my steam screenshots - is there some kind of workaround for this?
