  2. @@Raamie don't fuckup with soldering usb to it directly or you could short those leads and burn out RT cable logic for good if you could get breakaway replacement that would be nice abut fi you still prefere to hardmod it to usb A connector you may need to secure your joints with hot glue on pcb or on your wires and add some thermal shrink thingy to be sure it's ok after that you'd better do some work on routing your rt cable in safe position and use some di-box to connect your regular cable to it soy there's no stress given to RT i'm sure there's reddit posts about that you could check that out yourself
  3. @@jackstudley, http://customsforge.com/topic/901-how-to-use-custom-dlcs-in-rs2014/ Also, toolkit is for chosen one not for every guy on CF :P if you'd like to create cdlc yourself you could use toolkit as well, other than that unless you need to change appid toolkit won't serve any service for you, plus Norton and all other AV bitchin' about missing Certificate on "installer" which is zip file and may not like updater cuz it has some powers to check for updates that's all >___>
  4. @@Bluetac just tested and it's working fine here even can search for charter selected :) EDIT: Ninjad
  5. Hey guys I just wanted to let you know that I've added tunings for this porjects including viola, cello and ukulele according to your formula :) Keep up but I don't see of you much recently :(
  6. @@Lucas Pottersky yeah as long as it's set to 16 bit 480000 Hz you're fine with it in rs and should probably get low latency with native asio driver :)
  8. @... username checkout >___> well to be serious you need new toolkit ("stable" or "beta" will do) and wwise v2016 or v2017.1 installed then just feed your guitar ogg to the toolkit audio field and it will autoconvert those for selected quality factor wem files :)
  9. A bit of offtop, sorry guys :P @@firekorn I think of it like some of freelance market like someone place a bet and someone get's it done for some motivation thing he\she will get for doing cdlc (usually it's money but I can't think of a thing that would motivate charter to put a song together right now) I'd like to understand how similar system could work here, since tones thread are dead and even collabs of charters are arcana thing on rarity scale :D I don't need a list of usernames you'll toss for getting things done esp when you've got 250k+ members across the board :hmm: maybe we just don't need to do anything about this and let people to create things based on quality wiki info and handy tools to ease cdlc creation routine..
  10. @@firekorn actually I think we need some list of the charters that will do such job so you could sign up for this in some kind of thread and than report back of your job done etc maybe we could also do a leader boards for this kind of thing?
  11. @@Davesdream This was one of early decisions we've made to index all songs available through CF and steam so we could filter out our database more sufficiently and regular user could check if their fav song exist or he need one done as cdlc or that could be bought(which is preferable in many ways than cdlc). I guess I've covered 99% of the use case (not including PR campaign of "the riff repeater" site :D)
  12. I feel like charters doing it's own thread workshops for themed stuff like Classic Rock Coalition guys, or maybe like Snake3169 who did fav songs of ours by Sabbath and Metallica. I'm sure we could do something like requests of the week thing to give some stats on trends IDK. but since most of the hall of fame songs are done including most of the songs from discography of those hugely popular bands it's not that urgent to keep requesting metallica new album songs out there. I think we could do our local memes about requests now :P Nonetheless there's 3+ generations passed as for charters maybe even more if you'll count guys like me who's been doing this for RS1 or GH3\GHWT\FOF\PS franchise. as for requests and requesters, hmm. Maybe Unleashed could gather some goods off streames that do CDLC songs on their streams to support this site, not sure how but that could be tricky part of the user agreement\rules of the site or so idk, since making money off streams with cdlc edgy thing("thanks" to twitch for muting audio on records), I'm sure some of them already support us at least as ads to answer the question "where did you get that song from?" It would be fun to ask author of rocksmither bot to add telemetry thing for requests and 5 or 10 most played songs so it will report back it so we could have some data, not that streamers consider that much about incognito status since they stream on twitch and we usually see their faces so not a big deal for them one thing to consider as list of songs to suggest as request material, why that you may recognize song if you'll see it and usually you don't remember much unless you've listened to it recently. We don't need request actually, all we need is more intermediate notetrackers\charters to fill the gap in our songs library. Tools and tutorials are pretty advanced now and it's no-brainer to start charting today vs 5 years ago. one downside is if you've got the tab for a song you can just sync it or try your best to fix mistakes and polish it along with using proper techniques and tones. P.S. Main factor for me to discontinue this thing which were started after ForgeOn did his spreadsheet for requests (http://customsforge.com/topic/3988-russian-%D0%B7%D0%B0%D0%BF%D1%80%D0%BE%D1%81%D1%8B-%D0%B8-%D0%B0%D0%BD%D0%BE%D0%BD%D1%81%D1%8B/) was that it just got cluttered with random stuff from our Russian comrades and I've lost interested in it as well, no one will do those songs ever, plus it's really hard to maintain if you don't spend there an hour or so of your personal time >__> so far so good we've got some progress on some of the song that were in list but those were made by unrelated person who just can do it and I'm not even sure he saw my spreadsheet or not before it's got vanished,,,
  13. When it's time I guess we'll see kinda tools and instructions on how to get those cdlc in BF but as for now it's priveledge of the developers to play with cdlc and scripts, till it's done at some lvl of comfort to the others less expirienced people we could just wait for it to come, no need to ask if we're there every minute, right? :D http://img.bibo.kz/10216/10216817.JPG
  14. Looks like I should commit some stuff to GitHub and our release page is about to freak out on every new release even draft one... So then I should be wrong file were selected as input one probably  link to one should help us trace things to the core of the issue.
  15. Also it could be old release version which is pretty outdated and you should try beta just to see if it's there on recent toolkit or not :)
  16. @@PikminGuts92 I guess it would be good to have something like npm like packet manager maybe? since you should really "install" your cdlc into the game I wonder if you ever tracked how dlc were distributed at all? maybe there's easy way or what, It should be pain for devs to maintain that list if they were successful at dlc thing so maybe there's a chance for "place a song package there and play" scenario? REAPER for me is like "sample your own stuff" not the "tab out a song" so maybe you'd consider gp5 to BF mid file converter or what with auto lvl system perhaps ?
  17. @@raynebc so do you guys have some tools to pack files for BandFuse? Anything like CST for rocksmth we do? :)
  18. @@king_crimson tottaly true, open properties on your *toolkit release name*.zip and find unlock button on main page. and it's done. not sure how to overcome the issue without thees steps >___>
  19. @@king_crimson I didn't get your issue with the toolkit at all? does it's blocked by AV and it's unable to run itself?
  20. Nope toolkit only use registry to get your wwise installation folder all config values are read from the config inside toolkit folder.
  21. @@W4Whales directory /Users/******/Library/Application Support/Steam/steamapps/common/Rocksmith2014/Rocksmith2014.app/Contents/MacOS does not exist means you should manually install bypass in your rocksmith, go figure out where's your rocksmith install folder where you need to open Rocksmith app and put there bypass.dylib that's it also make sure you've got cherub rock or appid fo bought DLC in that m.psarc custom song :)
  22. @@Shaolindelt it's no different form Windows side of processing it, just require you to grab mac version of tools, you've got wined toolkit, now download EOF for mac (http://customsforge.com/topic/1529-latest-eof-releases-12-18-2017/), go DL audacity and tuxguitar (maybe guitar pro is an option for you or you've got it already.... same for GoPlayAlong, there's some tutorials here, not necessary to buy it) just in case you could also get cfm for mac hm as for vocals it's a pain, but you could use UltraStarCreator(not sure if there's one for mac tho) go here fo all kind of tutorials: http://customsforge.com/forum/78-tutorials/
  23. @@Shaolindelt skip work, just play some stuff, then find song you love and miss from rs, find tabs, find about 2 to 3 hours of free time, spend those crying and begging(also asking some questions on the road of creating cdlc), then generate one successfully, play it, cry. :D Just kidding, creating cdlc of beginner lvl isn't hard and should take you less than a hour at first glance :P
  24. @Shaolindeltat the first tab, select import package, then select your _p.psarc file and choose folder to store files it will unpack while doing so. Now you should click save project and save one in folder named after your cdlc. At the top right corner of the creator form you can see PC MAC XBOX PS3 checkboxes, check mac and un-check pc (to speedup a bit creation process). When it creates file try it in game, it *should* work in rs now, make sure you're putting _m.psarc in your rocksmith dlc folder. as for converted file you can link me to the cdlc page at CF and I'll try to generate one with my toolkit at windows machine. Would be good to have "converted" and "generated" file to compare what's the difference :)
