Well I can think of at least 4 prolific contributors from SA who are staying away from here for some reason. I think some maybe got tired of leechers, so are staying in a contributors-only forum. Hopefully they change their minds because this community is growing well.

Welcome back, Soilman! What is going on with some of the SA contributors boycotting CF? Still many faces who are staying away from here.

Could really do with a fix for this.

Snake - are you planning on doing rhythm for 'Nothing Else Matters'?

Can you be more specific about where it crashes and what happens? Does it freeze on the note highway when you select the 'play song' or what? Never trust torrents with the crap that is packed with them. Have you tried DL'ing from the actual link on the forums instead of torrents?

Let's not go back to an 'approved section'. We should keep everything in one section and maybe have an approved symbol next to songs which are approved.

what is boycotting CF??? i do not make cdlc anymore. becouse my work and girlfriend useses my whole time. I find hardly play time for guitar You need to lose the GF :mad: I was asking if you did not join CF because you were at the other forum with Dreddfoxx and other top contributors. thats me That sucks if somebody spoofed your account to get around the forum rules. I thought it was you. Have you been boycotting CF with the other guys from that other forum? If you are the real Nino, you could prove it by making 'Wasting My Hate' which Snake doesn't have on the discography for some reason. Not sure who is the real one.

Never considered buying it but a lot of people hyped it on SA. Maybe they blew all their money on paying Slash to market it. Rocksmith's marketing is piss poor by any standards but I guess theirs was even worse. If Rocksmith had some solid marketing strategy, they could attract soo many new player to guitar it's not even funny.

Did you download it from torrents? Are you using RS12 or RS14?

I don't think we need both of these - just keep one. Members who put up good content should get their rep levels up, so I have been 'liking' those posts which I think affects the grey circles under the username (do these have colour levels?). I don't see the point of having the 'thanks' system as well. Maybe NSA-book users prefer the 'like' button too.

Good to see Nino's stuff up. I hope Glen will eventually return but I know it's a longshot. Who is going to do the 'Lulu' tracks?

Anyone have any tips on getting better at this? I find it really hard when playing stuff like Metallica when you have to alternate pick a palm-mute very fast then strike a non-muted chord and then back up to the mutes. Do you generally move you palm back or upwards off the strings to release mute?

I noticed the user profiles have only an option for male/female gender but no options for transgender/androgynous/inter-sex and so on. This is very discriminationalist and maybe CF should give more options (Facebook has 50 options for gender).

I have to say well done for getting the site running effectively so quickly. We are still missing some key contributors from SA but the beginnings are promising. CF was set up so quickly that it makes me wonder who had fore-knowledge or was someone planning launching a rival site all along?

Go into the 'DLC' folder of RS2014 (maybe under 'program files (x86) - steam -steamapps - common - rocksmith2014 - dlc') and just delete the old file.

I can upload an image but when I try to crop it and press 'ok', it doesn't change the area of focus. Any ideas?

When the sound cracks up, the video slows down too. I have tried with stock settings and with altered ones. I thought this was a common problem. My hardware is competent enough (Q6600, 4gb RAM). Maybe it is something to do with the Xonar DGX soundcard. I think it affects all songs. Sometimes the sound will be bad when I start RS or sometimes it just breaks up randomly in a song. I have looked at the help files and will have a go at changing settings again.

I have always had this problem of the sound breaking up and going in slow motion with crackling at random times. Sometimes alt-tabbing out and clicking back in will fix it but it is very annoying. Did anyone find a fix for this?
