  1. When I fill out the "submit CDLC" page, I always put a "1" in the # of DD levels, because I use the "default" setting when using the DD generator and don't know how many levels it puts in. This confuses some people into thinking there is only one level and, in essence, there is no DD. Can a "default" option be put in to the "number of levels" box to clear this up? Or is there an actual number the default DD puts in or does it depend on the song? Thanks.
  2. Thanks, guys. I'm going to do all mine like you said from now on.
  3. I was wondering if there is a standard format we should use when listing an artist by first and last name when filling in the "artist sort" slot in Song Creator. For David Bowie, I've been using "Bowie, David" so it shows up in the B's when searching alphabetically in game. Either way doesn't matter to me, as long as you get all that artist in one block rather than having to search again. A lot of songs with a band name that start with "The" are split up between the T's and whatever other letter when searching A-Z. Thanks.
  4. Just read the announcement at the top of the page, "Please update your version in the database to the new correct format (1.0, 2.0.1, 2.1 for example)" and was looking for clarification. Do you want us to update the song file name with the correct version #, or do you want us to put the correct version # into the "Submit CDLC" page when putting up/editing a song? Thanks.
  5. You're not the only one. I'd say do what's comfortable, but your 3rd and 4th fingers will get better with use. You've got to build up your strength and accuracy in those fingers that get little use during your regular day. If you think about it, the only time you use those digits is to support what the other two fingers are doing (or scratching body parts), so it's common to want to use your first two fingers to do everything. Keep sucking it up with the pinky and ring finger and they'll get better, little by little. I also agree with Andrake above. Seeing all the notes in the solo gives you the understanding of why your hand placement is where it is and let's you see how the notes all go together rather than seeming disjointed and all over the place. Good luck.
  6. Worked great, been struggling to get this one tuned right. Thanks.
  7. I did a song that calls for tuning 1/4 step sharp from E standard. It seems EoF and Rocksmith Toolkit will only tune in 1/2 step increments. Anybody know a way around this?
  8. I tried your suggestion and every other combo w/DDC, but still nothing. Takes 20 seconds just to do DDC. I think it's a combo of this songs difficulty and the length of 7 mins. Think I'll just release a with and without DD copy. Thanks for your help.
  9. Yes, has all sections and phrases and they work with DD and riff repeater, just doesn't show up.
  10. Yes, added DD using DDC. Used it dozens of times but never had this result where it doesn't show up.
  11. Completed UFO's Rock Bottom last night, but no matter what I do I cannot get the DD graph to show up on top of the page in Rocksmith when I play the song. The DD and riff repeater are all working but do not show up. You can pause the game, use the RR sections, change the difficulty, etc. but never see the bar graph. I tried adding DD to the whole package as well as just the .xml files to no avail. I tried changing tones and nothing changed. I have included all necessary files, i.e., .xml, .wem, tones, .psarc in link. If anyone knows how to fix this, please let me know. Thanks. https://mega.co.nz/#F!6J9XSAxZ!rk8SirKkMsPc5rYy2SNLjQ

  13. Custom inlay for DBZ, diamond pattern like on the Barchetta: https://mega.co.nz/#!yUMmmD6I!wh52FmEfYQ2RIEOjJpd_ZYgvpfvz3j1BKNvY3a1CAv4
  14. Hello all, I'm Steve from Oak Lawn, Illinois, just outside of Chicago, USA. Just started playing in November of 2013, and now I'm addicted. Always wanted to learn guitar but never really thought I'd have the time. Now I'm 39 and my health hasn't been so good as of late, so I thought I better get started before it's too late. I know myself and I would have given up on the guitar a long time ago without these customs and Rocksmith. I like the international nature of the community. Not to sound too sappy, but people often focus on our individual differences rather than our massive amount of likenesses. I'm also impressed with how well people "speak"(write) English when it is not their first language. In America, legible communication has, for the most part, become a lost art. And best wishes to you @@Liquidlizard on your overseas deployment. Hope your back soon.
  15. Great purchase. Just bought a new Barchetta ST-FR a couple weeks ago for $350 on ebay and it's a beautiful guitar. Took me a while to get used to the Floyd Rose. Small contoured body is nice and about half the weight of my crappy Epi LP-SP. I've seen that FX model go between $600 to $800, so that's a great deal. http://www.guitarquest.net/dbz-guitar-details.asp?model=BARRX-FR Also, check out Dean Zelinsky's new online only company, beautiful guitars at direct from manufacturer prices. Assembled right here in Chicago. My next one is going to be one of these. http://deanzelinsky.com/ Here's my DBZ: http://www.dbzguitars.com/assets/finishes/BARSTFFR-TBK.jpg
  16. There's a "Thank You" button in the "Submitted CDLC" section but none in the database link. It would make it easier to read the more important stuff you might need to see in the posts. People would still use the posts to thank people, but it might clean it up a little bit. Just a suggestion, in no way a necessity. Thanks.
  17. "Dropbox added a war criminal to their board of directors who also directed the NSA to illegally spy on us..." Just my own curiosity, who is the war criminal on their board?
  18. The dolce sounds of Hiatt Comes alive at Budokan? I would kill if someone would do some songs from this album. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pzeoLe6nSrU
  19. I donated about a week ago, but my tag still says "member". Do I have to do something to change it or just be patient?
  20. Ah, I see, I was holding shift and hitting f5 and nothing was happening, but holding shift and clicking on the refresh icon on the browser did the trick. Sweet, thanks for the clarification. Duh on my part.
  21. I'm having what seems like a unique problem using the Customs Forge Database(search.customsforge.com). When I click on the DL link for the song I want, it sends me to a song I've already downloaded. Regardless of which song I choose, it sends me to the same song. The song it sends me to is the last song I downloaded before the new ad page was implemented. Refreshing the page doesn't help nor does allowing all cookies. I don't know if the adding of the new ad page was significant in this, but that's when it started. Also, I don't see the name of whoever created the song in the database, just a series of numbers such as 1396547852. I've been using the CLDC forum to download new songs, but it's easier to see what's new using the database. Anyone else having these problems or a suggestion on what I can do to rectify it? Thanks.
  22. Yeah, would love to see Aqualung. I think I can actually play that. Great work!
