Hello there! I would like a custom I made to be removed from the database. Can I do this myself? It is all wrong and I can't improve it as the GP-file is just too wrong in too many ways. I realized it too late.... I was so eager to make the song.. now I feel kind of bad about it... It just bugs me... Thanks!

Hello there - i also have a different problem with EOF.. i thik i post it here before making a whole new topic: First some backround info: I have the latest EOF and hotfix and use Win7. I use GPA for syncing so I usually just polish everything in GuitarPro 6 and GPA and then just import the xml into EOF make sections and done.... I had a custom done and it was working fine but I noticed some syncing problems so I adjusted the snyc at some points in GPA and also altered the chart a bit in GP. I don't know how saving works in GPA because there is no save button ore anything so to be sure I exported everything anew. I opened the EOF project... deleted all notes from all three tracks and imported the new parts with the new xml... It somehow deleted my leading silence so I added it again and also had realign notes and reencode clicked... So now it doesnt work anymore.... there is no more Audio-Graph with F5 and theres a small red bar at the beginning... when clicking play it only plays until the red bar and aborts - please help! The problem is probably specific to the GP file, if you can send me a download link to it I'll test it out. @@raynebc Yes it was, I could prevent the crashes after I deleted some tracks from the GP file. There were like 2 synthezisers, a vocal track, extra guitar and also extra percussion. So in the end there were like 8 tracks but I only needed Guitar 1 and bass. One of these extra tracks created also an error(also in other projects) that some instruments had more than 6 strings and i had to decide if I wanted to delete the thickest or the thinnest string.(I never could find out where this problem came from before). Could it be possible, that i can only open/import gp-files until a specific number of tracks? So if there ar for example more than 8 tracks it crashes, even before i choose which tracks to import?

Help please! When I try to import the xml file into EOF, EOF just crahses... Some time before whe I tried to import I got an malformed xml error - that was because the filename of the gp file in the xml was not correct(I think)... i changed that but now it just crashed.... Everything was fine a few days ago... I don't know what to do when I try to import just the gp-file it crashes too. (PS:For some reason EOF always tells me that there are more than 6 strings used,,, why is that? - normally i just click on thickest and i am fine - bu now: crash)

Hallo there! I got an xml error(malformed xml) when I tried to import a GPA-xml file. I encountered that I had renamed the Guitar Pro file. I opened the xml file wit an editor and changed the name in the file....Now the import starts for one second but then EOF crashes... does sb know this problem? Thanks! Edit: It also crashes now when I rty to import the guitar pro file itself that belongs to the xml. Edit: Same happened after I completely resynced everything in GPA, exported everything anew, made a new Project and tried to import the xml: CRASH!! wtf??

Actually I didn't solve it :unsure: .. I thought I did as I found out I coud change the muted notes in GuitarPro.. after I did that I thought that should be it but It only worked for the Rythm Guitar part: http://i259.photobucket.com/albums/hh283/pipiclub/superfhm.jpg With this one, in RS the mutes are in the same position than the normal chords... For Lead(notes from the first post) its still shifted - I think it may have to do sth with the open string.... anybody know anything? Thanks - and sorry again!

Hello there! I've got a question about frethand mutes in EOF / Guitar Pro. I have a guitar pro file that looks like this: http://i259.photobucket.com/albums/hh283/pipiclub/fhmgp.jpg I imported that into EOF and I get it in RS like that: http://i259.photobucket.com/albums/hh283/pipiclub/fhmutes.jpg So in general its okay - I just would like to have it aestheticly improved so that the frethand mutes are displayed on the same frets as the chords - How can I tell GuitarPro that the mutes should be on the 10th fret? Thank you very much!

Maybe you could add how to delete sections to your tutorial - (Beat->Events) Also how to do the push offset back thing and the metronome add for the start was very helpful to me when I couldn't select the first section... read about this in another tutorial, but it fits here too.

I made it work... seems that the problem was that my first section(like every other) was called verse. Apparently the first section has to be called Intro.

that was it... :) I didn't select it at the "2D pane shows" checkbox.... Now the sections are visible in EOF... but in RS there are still no sections. when I create the custom I usually just Import the psarc I created before without sections and reimport the new notes.eof - then I generate the package again. Is this a problem? Do I have to create the package from scratch and type everything in (name, artist,..) and also select all the files and tones anew? When I save I always get this error: "Warning: There is no intro RS section, but the beat marker before the first note already has a section. You should move that section, because only one section per beat is exported." My first section starts exactly on the beatmarker and the first note.. however it is the 6th beatmarker of the whole song... could this be the problem?

Hey there! Thanks for the Info - however I sill can not create sections :( . I am trying for some time now.... I click on the arrow, shift+s... window pops up...Select the name, enable "Also add as RS phrase", press OK... and nothing.... no section created... also tired the hint to place the note exactly on the beat marker... no improvement... tried klicking only on the note instead of the beat marker.. also nothing... what am I doing wrong? I also dont understand the difference between a phrase and a section... could sb explain please?

Thanks for your answers! So will will just take care of any other measure and see how it goes... I'm still working and dragging around right now... sometimes theres a red arrow over the beat that points down, sometimes theres a grey one like this: --> how do they change/appear, what do they mean ? sometimes it drags the whole soundwave and sometimes only the white line... but it doesn't seem to depend on colour/shape... this is so confusing :-( -
Hello dear people, so I am having another run at creating customs. This is like my 3rd try that I sart. I gave it up 2 times last year because It seemed too complicated and I was going crazy with EOF. Seriously - I believe that all those people creating customs must be somehow geniuses. I went with a newer tutorial vid on youtube by Rapidfire films... and everything seemed so easy and well fitting - right now I am again close to smashing my PC into pieces. I would like to get at least one song done before I probably will never lay hands on this diabolical tool again. And I would like to ask for some help - I dont want to repost questions, but I couldnt find my answer with the search tool or by clicking though the forum threads. - I am working with Guitar Pro 6. I downloaded a gp5 file, changed the speed and saved it... now I have a gpx file. It seems to me that EOF can't import Guitar Pro 6 files... am I right? Does it only work with Guitar Pro 5? - The song I want to create is the following: The speed changes two times during the song... I soon discovered that the the BPM rate in the original GP-File is wrong.. so I adjusted it in EOF after I imported the mp3 - for that tried to get the right speed with an online beats per minute calculator (http://www.beatsperminuteonline.com). I am now dragging the white lines around for hours to fit it with the snare of the drumbeat but this leads to the BPM-rate changing with every beat (92,95,97,92,93,...) I see no other solution than to adjust every single beat, but this seems horribly time wasting. I also belive that the drummer of the band cant hold the same speed at all. Are there some opinions on this? Or is it just syncopated all the time? I haven't even imported the guitar pro file and it already seems impossile to get synchronized. Thank you very much!

One question: I downloaded the bass notes template with the guitar maker and created the inlay with the toolkit... it then showed up in my inlay list and I selected it - but I got dots instead of note names... tried it a second time.. downloaded bass notes, this time created it directly with the guitar maker... chose bass notes in RS.. all i get is dots was there something switched/conufused? It clearly says bass notes...
