  1. Since the cdlc enabler (apparently) doesn't work on linux you'd need to put the .dll file in your rocksmith folder manually for cdlc to work. https://customsforge.com/index.php?/topic/901-how-to-use-custom-dlcs-in-rs2014-remastered/&do=findComment&comment=374586
  2. B.Y.O.B is a dlc song, so it wouldn't be able to be posted here if it was ever made. Link to odlc record. https://ignition4.customsforge.com/cdlc/4552
  3. Dragonforce is bad enough even when it's in sync, I had to turn off my audio just to get through this one. Some weird fingering choices here and slightly off sync in places but nowhere near as bad as the dragonforce chart.
  4. You can always just modify it for your own personal use if you're not ok with uploading and maintaining the database record, but your version would show up an an extra entry in ignition and wouldn't be replacing the old one. Generally as long as you credit the original creator and have tried to contact them about it, then it should be fine. As for how to actually do it, you'll need all the standard cdlc creating programs. Here's a quick-ish guide on how to get it into eof, with links to most of the tools you'll need (except for eof which can be found here) Once it's in eof, click on the note you want to change and press N to bring up the note panel, then you can change the note fret and apply all of the other note statuses as needed. This might also come in handy. https://customsforge.com/index.php?/topic/35318-cdlc-creation-for-rocksmith-2014-remastered/
  5. You have to put it in your dlc folder and select it in the inlay menu for it to show up. It's changeable from the same menu you use to select path and input. Sometimes you need to select a base game inlay first and then a custom one for it to show up.
  6. The toolkit is 32bit so it doesn't have enough memory to process the large file. Most full album charts are built with dlc builder instead now as it's 64bit but unfortunately it cannot convert the files to ps3. There is a 64bit version of the toolkit somewhere and you'll have to use that. I can't seem to find it at the moment though and worst case you'll have to build it yourself. You might be able to use "CLI_CdlcConverter.bat" in the rstoolkit directory instead of the gui to convert the files, freeing up more memory to be used on the actual conversion. Just change the 13th line from "set DESTINATION=%Mac" to "set DESTINATION=%Ps3" Then click and drag the file onto the bat file and press enter.
  7. You can either use this custom inlay (which is only accurate when you're in E standard) https://customsforge.com/index.php?/topic/67286-custom-bass-inlay-with-string-notations-from-3rd-fret-to-15th-fret/#comment-372743 Or use the "show note names" option in rsmods to display the name of the note you're currently playing
  8. I could pin it to the forums tutorial section and the #support channel in the discord, but that's about it. Changing the menu bar would require updating the actual site and I think only unleashed2K can do that.
  9. It might have something to do with it, if dlc songs don't show up cdlc songs wont either as they use the purchased dlc appid's to appear in game. Yea that'd probably be a good idea, especially with how much of a pain this game is to get working sometimes.
  10. Is is an i9 13900k?, it has too many cores for rocksmith to handle and causes the game to crash without a modified dll file or disabling extra cores. https://www.reddit.com/r/rocksmith/comments/yvct8a/rocksmith_2014_crashes_with_32_corethread/
  11. Yep. Ps4 can be modded but no ones figured out the file format for cdlc yet. Since you can't mod the xbox one or series X/S we're out of luck there. So for now it's only on the 360 and ps3 versions.
  12. https://www.mediafire.com/file/if4v864zizdezh4/ACDC_Hells-Bells_v2_0_DD_p.psarc/file
  13. Nope. The only consoles that can use cdlc are modded xbox 360 or modded ps3.
  14. You need the dll to stop cdlc songs from freezing. https://ignition4.customsforge.com/tools/CDLCEnabler https://customsforge.com/index.php?/topic/901-how-to-use-custom-dlcs-in-rs2014-remastered/
  15. You need the dll to stop it from freezing on cdlc songs. https://ignition4.customsforge.com/tools/CDLCEnabler
  16. I'd have to second that bass buzz recommendation, their content is informative and fairly entertaining too. His video on Steve Harris pretty much changed my whole bass playing technique and was half the reason I wanted to chart their recent senjutsu album. Unfortunately I'm too much of a zoomer to have any book recommendations though.
  17. That's an issue with using rsmods/cdlc enabler on windows 11, it only lets you select the desktop for some reason. You should be able to copy the game to the desktop, mod it and then move it back or just install the dll manually from here (thanks for the re-up Nick). https://customsforge.com/index.php?/topic/901-how-to-use-custom-dlcs-in-rs2014-remastered/&do=findComment&comment=374586
  18. Direct connect mode is in the game by default so it saved his input device as it, but without the modified cache file from rsmods you can't re-activate through the menu it if you switch off it. The beta hasn't been needed for months, you can use the latest version of rocksmith and and update all your mods. Not sure if it'd stop the crash when reactivating direct connect mode but it might be worth a go. https://ignition4.customsforge.com/tools/CDLCEnabler https://github.com/Lovrom8/RSMods/releases/tag/RSModsInstaller-v1.2.7.2
  19. The patch should still work on ventura, quite a few people have gotten it working in the discord. Your best bet for help is in the #mac-os channel of the cf discord since it's a bit more active than here (and I'm no help since I don't have a mac)
  20. For PC you need the dll. https://ignition4.customsforge.com/tools/CDLCEnabler For Mac you need to run the patch. https://github.com/aik002/RSBypass/releases https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pUXA4KKzXKY
  21. If you rename avrt.dll to temporarily disable rsasio and confirm it's an rsmods issue, you might have to open an issue on the rsmods github page. If you send them the latest .mdmp crash file from your rocksmith root folder and explain when it crashes they might be able to figure out something, since this kinda thing is unfortunately beyond my expertise.
  22. There used to be an issue with using rsmods and rsasio at the same time which'd cause the game to crash if you were using certain versions of both tools. If you're not on the beta branch of rocksmith and are using the latest version of both mods they should be able to work together though.
