  1. Though this was the run but the note detection died during the solo. Same % as last one so I must've missed about 2 again. Still no diamond pick either, oof. Ayy diamond pick. Missed like the last note in the song tho. Someone pls kill me.
  2. Finally got it Only screwed up a few chords and the start of the solo Think I only missed like 2 notes?
  3. Right, guitar time. One miss because of jank rs detection yay. not too bad easier than I thought it'd be, the solo bit did surprise me tho.
  4. @@The_Doctor_59400 Sounds like you forgot the .dll, try reading this
  5. Right lets try some songs nice kinda surf rock vibes. I can see it getting annoying after a few goes with all the "batman" chanting tho. nah, can't stand this one. The singing is too annoying. nice bit of power metal, those harmony screams were pretty awesome. wish i'd used a pick, my hand is dying lol djent time not too bad, let's give it another go. Missed a note right at the end. Oh well, this'll do for now guitar later?
  6. Las 'cus I don't want to die halfway through. That was fun, shame I suck at most of it. Bass time If that slide didn't screw me over my streak would've been massive.
  7. 99%, pretty nice. Time to try and get a diamond pick. Gave the guitar some more goes too. Slide detection is jank and annoying. Also I just realized that gog is all parts? I swear it said part 1 at the start tho, and it just says part 1 in the spreadsheet?
  8. @@N0Z0MI ur missing the package version field, stick a number in the box under the year field.
  9. Guitar tiem The chords don't like me today The solo was easier than the chorus because I still cant get the timing down for it. That was pretty fun. I'm starting to like these guys, might have to try some more. aaaa, one more go then I'll try las wew eeeh. I did worse in iron maiden somehow?
  10. We got phantom of the opera, mega nice. Hope it doesn't screw with the other version I have. "The second and third solos overlap a little, so the third solo is in the rhythm arrangement", oh no. Pretty nice song, good job firekorn. Took me way too long to get the rhythm down. Decent song but not a huge fan of the singing, it's either auto-tune of some weird harmonies but something sounds off. This is fine, bet it's more fun on rhythm tho. Not too bad at most of the song, not very good at the arpeggio bit or the high bit (if that makes sense to anyone lol) This song is weird. It sounds kinda similar to a lot of other songs but also doesn't at the same time. Maybe it's just in a scale/key a lot of songs I listen to are in which makes it sound like them. Guitar stuff later.
  11. I think I'll give up on foo fighters. Bass time. Wow this run was rubbish but I completely destroyed the end part for once, so I guess it evened out. It's not 99 but its close enough, I give up for now. Everything being slightly off sync and constantly speeding up/slowing down is a pain in the ass.
  12. Yep it works fine. I can't figure out the audio settings to get it running standalone with decent latency but when I run it with asio through a daw it works fine. That way you can also put other effects in-front/behind it too and do a bunch of other fancy stuff.
  13. The chords aren't that bad anymore, harmonics still get dodgy detection and I still need to git gud at a few other bits. 99 soon pls.
  14. So I finally gave it a go (the trial anyway). It's pretty good at syncing most simple stuff automatically and where it screws up its pretty easy to fix. Not too good at trance, it'll be an 8th off but doing the sync manually is easy enough thanks to the "snap to peaks" feature. It's a great feature normally I'd sync to them in the waveform anyway so this just speeds it up a tad. If eof had that feature I'd never need to use GPA lol. I threw some grindcore at it (napalm death and go-zen) and the autosync had a stroke, it doesn't like that at all. You can snap each note to a peak and it'll be decent enough, probably better than the one I did in eof. If did well enough for napalm death until it got to the trempicked hell part and then it just died, go-zen just died instantly. Gave it some UNDEAD CORPOATAION and it did fairly well, but they play pretty on time anyway and don't take much to sync. It doesn't seem to like bpm changes very much though which is annoying but oh well. The inability to edit tabs is a major pain in the ass, especially with how you are more likely to notice errors during the sync process. It's an even bigger pain if you make the tabs yourself (at least with how I make them). I like to use eof to check note durations, strum patterns, time signature changes and all the other stuff. To add GPA into my workflow I'd have to completely change how I tab stuff or re-sync it in GPA afterwards. I guess you can sync it, export to eof and then edit then re-import the gp5 to fix any errors and it'll keep the sync which is pretty good for stuff with existing tabs. Yea I'd probably use it for them, but that's like hardly any of the songs I do. For £30, hmm. I'd probably pay £15/£20 in it's current state?, wonder if it ever goes on sale. The autosync works well on easy stuff but I have no issues syncing that anyway and the snap to peaks is nice. But I'd rather not add another nearly pointless step to most of my songs and I doubt I'd use it enough to warrant buying it. If you could edit/create tabs with, it I would definitely buy it then, guess that's the major feature holding it back for me. It can already read them how hard can it be to let you edit them (UI overhaul and save system?). That way it could obsolete guitar pro at half the cost. On the website it is listed as a tab player though so it's understandable that it would be missing that feature, and listening to the midi synced to the audio is pretty nice, good way to spot errors, way better than the midi tones option in eof (which has tons of delay). For use as a tab player is pretty good, I get we're using it in a way they didn't intend so what we want out of it are probably different from what most people who use it want it to achieve. If I didn't know about rocksmith then this would be the next best thing and I'd probably think it was pretty cool. I see why people use it, for stuff with existing tabs it is pretty good and probably easier to understand than eof, depending on the genre the auto sync can be pretty good, works great for bass so I can see why JamesprestonUK uses it, I tried redoing some OrangeCoffee songs and it was very good. And Finally if you are starting out I'd find this easier to sync stuff in than in eof and is probably worth a go. Guess that's it, see ya.
  15. Guitar tiem I played a row of chords on the wrong string, rip meh Why does the rhythm track have the lead parts, the solo and like none of the chords for half the song? This is gonna be a bad week. and just look at these octaves, oh no. Apparently dead notes don't affect the chord but I sure missed a ton of them anyway. Right lets try the last one. Can't be worse than the foo. Eh lots of waiting but it cuts out the lead parts so I'll allow it.
  16. I did the right one this time. 4 note chords and harmonics oh no this is gonna be a bad week lol
  17. Lets try some stuff eh not a huge fan of these guys. The intro sounded cool so I'll give them that, but I can't stand the singer. This is fine That got surprisingly fast near the end, quite fun. is this a jojo reference? memes aside I wish I'd've done this in score attack, oh well Wait I did the wrong song, ignore me lol guitar stuff later?
  18. Lets try some more bass, only had one run so it should be easier to top than my rhythm one. Completely screwed the fast slap octaves, oof. Never expected to get a diamond pick, nice. doubt I can get 99 but guess that's my goal now.
  19. Better streak, guess I'll try score attack? I didn't die and got over 90, yay. Getting better at the chords, kinda screwed up near the ending tho. 95 would be nice.
  20. Try posting that here instead. Also I swear someone had already done it, but I guess not since I can't seem find it.
  21. 2019 isn't supported? 2017 is the latest that works (at least according to the toolkit's tooltip) You can get 2013 here, which should work fine or get older versions off the wwise website. Also the path needs to be "Wwise(Version/buildnumber)\Authoring\x64\Release\bin" or "Wwise(Version/buildnumber)\Authoring\Win32\Release\bin" (version number depends on what one you have installed). The folder should have the WwsiseCLI.exe in it, then you know you've got the right one. Pick 32 or 64 bit based on whatever your pc is.
  22. Right lets try the rest of the songs out. eh could've been tabbed to have less shifting, I wouldn't've played it like that. Still tho haven't herd this song for years, pretty nice. pretty good once I got the rhythm. yea this was pretty fun too, surprise chord out of nowhere spooked me lol only 2 rhythm songs?, well one to check out then. I feel I've got a bit better at arpeggio/handshape stuff since playing "too bad" the other week, with a few more runs I could probably do a fair bit better.
  23. More intervals, nice Oh yea something I noticed, the exercise scoreboard link doesn't work. Probably broke when we changed the leaderboards or something. Anyway, speedy yeet of the main 2 for now. Advanced rhythm same as mc? hard week lol
  24. ya don't even need to enable flash to submit a new revision. I can't even get it working in chrome anymore lol. You can also download from the new version too, just go to submit revision and download it the same way. If you really don't want to make an account you can also get a chrome plugin to download them without login in. I doubt its gonna get "patched" since I'm pretty sure its intended, just a bit fiddly to figure out.
