  1. Last bass and some rhythm time Always nice to have some jazz in the mc bass game doesn't like my powerchords. jacked That was fun, reminds me of the seabed ost. Tracks 08, 02 and 04 in particular, there's a few others done under the artist name "paleontology" if ya interested. Really need to checkout some more "Billy Cobham" it's right up my alley. game pls
  2. Gucci gang but its a 70's rock song and gucci gang is replaced with "jack". Nah this too annoying to listen to, the instruments aren't even playing for half the song they just keep pausing, the singer's annoying and the bass is missing a few slides. meh Pretty nice, wish the slides were unpitched tho pc is dying, more later
  3. I've done this with my version of erika (German not Japanese tho) if you want to unpack it and have a proper look, but it's not too hard. You just have the Japanese lyrics like normal then between the next Japanese line you add a lyric with the english translation and it will display it in the next line preview. Then just make it short so it skips over it quite quickly. "the translation had the whole scentence light up at once." - Not sure how you'd manage that part tho.
  4. I should use riff repeater more often, never thought i'd get 99 on this
  5. The bass tuning is an octave lower than it should be because the low bass fix was applied wrong. Making it A220 makes it on octave lower so you have to offset the tuning an octave higher to compensate. Tuning should look like this Original was this I uploaded a fixed version in the comments. if ya wanna try it. "Problem is : when you do this after modifying a song, like when you use the low bass fix on a song, you can't use this to reload the song and you're forced to reload the whole game instead. Is there any workaround for this or am I forced to reload the whole game each time ?" I'm guessing you can work around this issue by changing the dlc key and arrangement ID's to make the game think it's a new song and then just delete the old one later.
  6. Guitar time eh Wasn't too bad when I got used to the chords, I'll try that again. it'll do mou ikkai not a good week for me lol oh no still need to git gud at the arpeggios and the solo-y harmony bit
  7. My guitar is in a dodgy tuning so just bass for now Yay random misses from slides, my fav Pretty meh song End bit was pretty fun, the rest was a bit boring Eh the original's better, singer sounds too posh for this kinda thing. Still pretty fun, but I'd change that 3-7 jump to play the 7 as a 2 on the D string. Tapping? Crikey. I'm gonna need to practice this one a fair bit Kinda getting used to the timing now? Guitar soon™
  8. Rhythm time Game didn't like my powerchords. Eh not a huge fan, the repetitive lead bit is annoying. nice. A444, oh no. Decent solo and arpeggio stuff, rest is meh. oh crikey, this is mental.
  9. eh not my kinda thing, too slow Drop c? guess I'll tune up my 5 string Pretty nice song, really like the pre-chorus. Quite fun and way too catchy Interesting, nice bass too. Few tricky bits, especially the intro, wew Rhythm in a bit.
  10. Sorry for slacking, been playing a ton of neptunia lol still not too good at this one Gave bass a few goes but nothing better than what I already had
  11. here Once you've got it set up you just click "import package" at the bottom, select the song, change the appid from the dropdown and repack it, replacing the old one.
  12. shape shifter has the wrong appid and I'm guessing the rest of the songs have the same issue. Repack it in the toolkit/cfsm and change the id to smashing pumpkins - cherub rock and it should show up
  13. You can turn off the tab in guitar pro and be left with a stave view, but like how maztor says there are the same notes in several places and playing from sheet music especially sight reading is quite difficult. It is a fairly long and boring process to even make a usable tab from most sheet music and doing it on the fly for anything except the most basic stuff would be quite hard. There's a reason tab is the standard for guitar and has been for a while. However depending on the type of music you want to play it could be useful for learning stuff from different instruments and simply learning how to read/write it can be quite useful, especially if you try to learn something other than guitar later and may make learning theory more understandable. I'd recommend musecore for finding some sheet music (although you need an addon to download from there now). Maybe start with some flute stuff since they don't have any chords and can be played as a lead arrange. Disclaimer. I can't read sheet music so all of this might be a bunch on nonsense "I have a lot of pratice on Rocksmith, but I am ready for the next step, aka learning how to play from scores." Also if your looking for the next step for learning guitar outside of rocksmith you'd probably find more use learning to play songs by ear, really opens up what you can play and then you don't even need sheet music lol.
  14. Right lets have a quick go, already had death angel but never played it lol. wow that's loud I ain't vibin' with these loose strings in E flat, gonna have to repack that.
  15. It's something to do with sustains only being applied to notes over a certain length (has to be over a quarter I think). You can force a sustain by making it a tie note in your tab software or just adjust them in eof by selecting them and using the scroll wheel or [ ] keys.
  16. Time to grind out the 100 eh, high-scores later.
  17. Right click the game in your Steam library, hover over manage and then click on "browse local files". Then ya done.
  18. Hasn't someone already done it? Also for next time, requests go here
  19. main riff is fun but the chorus is boring and I'm not really into the song. pretty nice song, reminds me a bit of radiation 4, just slightly less crazy. easier than expected tbh
  20. right lets do some stuff meh liked this more than I thought I would, not too bad. skipped rising sun, can't sightread and that need to learn the chords more arpeggios aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa bass in a bit
  21. cfsm can repack songs to E standard/drop D with a pitch shift effect on the tone. In the custom mods section you select the pitch shifter.
  22. Just need to get used to the chords a bit more. not too bad same % better streak Just a smidge off 99
  23. Lets try some bass eh not my kinda thing, easy master mode song tho. Got some random misses during the open A string bits, rip. not bad, quite fun too. Gonna be a great week for bass, nice song, very fun. time for the big boi
  24. Been looking forward to this. First time hearing the full album too, only heard the odd song off guitar hero Metallica Pretty solid album but escape just kinda seems out of place, doesn't really fit the album. Call of cthulhu tho, what a banger, love it.
