Improvements Lead 99% in 5 diff lvl song is really nice score for me. Rhythm

Except for Camisa Negra, the rest are the scores from past tests. I tested this a long time ago and rated it 3.5 but noted in the comment that the chart is basically just bends, so the difficulty rating may be different for some. This is really fun to play, especially the chillout solo part. Too bad Nightwish is just a bonus but Camisa Negra is fun to play and it's a strong 7 in difficulty so let it stay as it is.

Hah you don't have to tell me! I started listening to Nightwish around 2008, when they released an album with Anette, but I liked more the period when Tarja was on the vocal. A few years ago I played a lot of their songs at Rocksmith and was at their concert twice, but when Floor was already on vocals.

I remember Nightwish - She Is My Sin has a good guitar chart (I tested this and rated the difficulty quite a long time ago). It is a pity that this is a bonus for Lead and the bonus arrangements are not very popular. So I'm not much of a fan of them, except for some exceptional cases, e.g. the intermediate bass bonus is fine due to the low tuning.

I want to say, I was at The Cure concert this week. Besides, I listened to a lot of their discography and played some CDLCs. I was very surprised that during the over 8 years of the championship only one of their song was played So I will post some song suggestions soon, because they have many nice arrangements for both the guitar (often for beginners) and the bass.

Nice practice for beginners. Really fun song. Another that I discovered thanks to the championship! I'm not fluent in English, so focusing on the game doesn't pay much attention to the lyrics. But I checked the lyrics on the net and ... it's really hard They generally have such rude lyrics? And Riverside. I only knew 2 of their newer albums before, but a few weeks ago I was at a concert and I have to admit that they do very well live. By the way, I explored the discography (older albums) and discovered a lot of interesting songs. I would like to add that this is a Polish band that you may not know about, because the lyrics are only in English. And @ jellisjenius . I rated this 8 and in the opening post this is also 8. I don't know where you see 8.5.

@ avastreg Good selection! I am starting test runs. Nice vibes, but this is really easy (easy riff + easy basic chords with long time to change). Max (2) for me. This can feel like it's the old CDLC (2014). It is a bit different from today's standards, I find it difficult to play when the scroll speed so slowly, which makes the notes very dense. (5) is ok. (6) by a solo. (8.5), because tapping and fast solos.

A few plays today @ Rodman Usually, we rate the difficulty of the songs similarly, but here I have to disagree. This is definitely not 3. 90% of the song is of the same pattern (chord plus hammer on on the D string). The solo is short and very easy. I got 3 misses here purely by recognition. I think this is 2. This is 3 not 2 (jumps quickly to a new chord). Very bad slide recognition on chords. Ehh Billy Talent. I can never play their songs... I would need a lot of time to learn these unusual chords.

@ avastreg and @ cacahuate51 are on a different skill level so I have no chance to compete with them, but I'm happy with this improvement. And bass improvements This is bad playable in Rocksmith. Lots of random misses. I haven't played this for a long time (previous old score from testing). Quite Fun!

I think I also had a bad note recognition on this CDLC. And not only in the arpeggios, but even the power chords registered worse than usual.

Beginner & Intermediate songs. 3 for both paths. Lead 5, Rhythm 4.

I came back from Hungary and had some time to quickly test some Lead and Rhythm. Really nice old song. Diff 6 is ok. Poor recognition here, but I think it's a difficult advanced (7.5). Rhythm This is 6, same difficulty level as in the Lead path. Advanced IMO. This is a 7 and I think it could be used as the master class song that is missing. So @ jellisjenius I think it would be better to move Bread song to advanced and Candlebox to masterclass instead of creating an intermediate class bonus and no masterclass. @ Rodman what do you think, I can see you tested it?

Lead+ Rhythm I guess I rated this a bit too high before. 4, maybe 3.5. @ cacahuate51 100%!? So GG this week I used to really dislike playing this song in RS. I had problems with feeling the notes. Now I played it for the first time in a very long time and I don't think it is that difficult, but it's hard to get a good score in RS.

I'm not sure you understood @ Rodman request right. EVERYONE can add suggestions for songs to be played in the championship (Song Selection sheet is open for everyone). So any suggestions are welcome. You don't need to submit ratings for Bass if you can't test this path for CDLC. And Rodman's request was to find people who could create a new championship week (what I did this week).

Apart from Dayglow, these are quite old screenshots from the CDLC tests a few months ago. This would be a beginner if it weren't for those stretched chords. An interesting band with demanding arrangements, both guitar (this is the only CDLC with guitar) and bass.
