I get this when Win 10 auto update is set to grab drivers, theres an hd audio driver for my laptop that causes the crackle pop.

I use cheapie picks from my local music shop, Homedepot or Lowes sell no slip strips which are essentially sandpaper with a sticky side, I cut em to pick size and stick em on both sides of the pick where skin would contact them but not strings, I have less pick slippage and dropping since doing this. I can post some images in a coupla hours when I get home.

Sounds like your issues 1 and 2 may be wholy due to issue number 3. I go weeks without playing with no skill loss at most I forgot a few notes, but the fingers still know what to do.

Go into Programs under Control Panel, remove last updates to Windows, this assumes issue began around June 13 or 14 which would be an update of Windows on "Patch Tuesday". Could be an actual Windows update or an automatic driver update done by Windows. Uninstall updates that coincide with your issue starting try RS.

For me I think it was hearing classical music played on guitar, probably Flight of the bumble bee.

Playing puts me in a good mood, Id say nearly an altered state. I enjoy the rythm feeling the instrument vibrate from strumming feeling the strings while fretting, its enjoyable. Im comfy with some songs, Ive got 11 over 100% that when I play mastery is at 90% or better, theres another 15 that are in the 90% range that at the end mastery is 90% or better. When playing alone I sway and sometimes really get into the song, lately Ive been going to a freinds shop and playing out in the garage usually Im alone there but people walk in and out so Im sorta pushing myself outside my confort zone. Ive gone ther eabout 4 times amd this last time, Sunday was good I felt very comfortable playing in front of people.

So yesterday I actually videoed myself playing. First time Id ever done that. I was surprised to see how flat and lifeless I look while playing. What are some of the things you do while playing?

The direct dll needs to be placed in the root rocksmith folder.

Have you tried a different browser?

The most I've gotten is 99% accuracy, I have 100%+ mastery though on some songs.

Double check you placed the dll in the correct spot.

Other than Steam and uplay when playing do you have any other game managers installed, thinking Origin in particular. It caused a different issue for a user here.

Right click the icon you launch rs with, select runas and run it as administrator, once in rs dont play just attempt a clean exit. If its complaining of the registry guessing permissions issue, running as admin once may cure it.

Update as long as you can revert the update should things not work as expected.

Past crashes should still appear in the logs.

If youre onto hackery, Im assuming the software op mentions is controllable via keyboard,if this is the case you can modify an old usb keyboard to make a footpedal array on the cheap. I made one for a game that required a two button hold to move forward I got tired of having both hands occupied so made the footswitch to free up a hand.

Check your eventlog to see whats being logged when the app hangs if anything.

Tried that, it threw an exception rather than track it down I just used the rstiolkits dd creator. It was unecessary information so I didn't add it in my post.

RESOLVED, thank you firekorn Solution Using BPR as firekorn suggested I unpacked the psarc added some Sections repacked it, opened it in RS Toolkit and created DD then added that to dlc, worked flawless. Thank you, for the reply. I did comment on charters song yesterday. Assuming charter doesn't reply is there any way to use the Rs toolkit and eof to do this myself? Ive already tried using those tool best I could do is a dd conversion which did add dd but didnt create sections.

***RESOLVED*** Song I got from the db, only shows a portion of the song in preview, in riff repeater the entire song selects, individual riffs aren't selectable, what causes this? This somg was posted by another user havent contacted creator. No Use For A Name - Fairytale of New York
