Here's some first tries for the week. I don't think I'll be working too much on the GoG song.. it's a bit too quick for me. I think I can get better at Ugly Kid Joe though.

Love the song choices this week This song is one of my pantheon guitar songs. I spent quite a bit working on it this week. I can't seem to break the 90% barrier.. so close!

Another song I've played before! I'll have some more time to play the songs this week. Looking forward to digging in to the GoG song later

I've been away for a little bit and looks like I've missed a bunch of cool updates. I love the player level idea. I think my score might be a bit inflated.. I sometimes don't post when my scores suck.. lol. I'll definitely try to post more often to truly get an idea of how much I'm improving. LOVE the song choices this week. It's finally a GoG song that I know very well. Oddly enough, I had never played the bonus lead track on it before today, but the note patterns are almost identical to the lead path, just in a different spot. I think I have some room for improvement. We'll see how it goes I absolutely butchered this song.. but lucky for me.. sloppy notes count

I've been on a bit of a Judas Priest kick of late, so this fit in nicely to what I've been playing. They're going to be playing here in Atlanta in April. Think I'm going to try to catch the show

Well I couldn't figure out how to play the Rainbow song this week. Love the Def Leppard selection though..

Didn't have much time to play this week.. fumbled my way through this one..

I've hit a wall.. I can't seem to improve at all.. I feel like I"m playing it better, but I'm just not seeing the score go up as a result. Every attempt has been in the 88% range. Either it's a note recognition thing or my fingers just seem to tire out by the end of the song.. A 12 minute Jimmy page solo will do that.. oh well.. I'll keep trying again next week..

All these bends in the solo are shredding my fingers.. I have to call uncle.. dammit...

Did some good RR work on a couple of sections and totally faked my way through the whole solo.. lol

This is a really hard chart.. I can't even try to do the hybrid picking.. I'm just faking it with a sweep mute(ish) picking technique. It doesn't always work and note recognition is a real problem. I'm making some good progress on it though. I think there is a chance to beat this in SA.. but it'll be tough..

Some all time guitar songs this week. A couple of my absolute favorites. This song was probably my first epic Rocksmith experience. Made me feel like I could actually play a little. No one bends a string quite like David Gilmour.. This was one of the very first riffs I ever learned.. back in the day.. I know this song very well.. but holy hell the chart on this is quite different.. very difficult One question @@Rodman, how did I lose my diehard status? I think I only missed a week here and there.. but it was mostly just because I forgot to post scores.. lol

This song is really cool. Sounds like Dream Theater. I won't have much time this week to improve my score however.

I've been too lazy to tune down to Eb to play the masterclass song. I'll get to it soon enough. I'm enjoying these songs though. I think I can make it through SA on the gog song with a little work. We shall see...

Yeah, this song is possible for 100%. I just can't seem to stop missing easy notes.

I did not even get close to this 92%. I was sloppier than 2 snails snogging.. It's a tricky pick pattern for me to play it correctly, I'll try to work on it some more this week..

So I did this on a sight read.. and I was all proud of myself. Then I realized that this wasn't the Iron Maiden song of the week, so I sight read that too.. and now my hands don't work anymore. I need to take a break.. Maiden really works both hands...
