I'm currently working on Uematsu's work (Primarily FFI to FF9). I will begin with FFI's soundtrack, but feel free to drop any request from those soundtracks, they will get done faster if the songs gets more attention. :)

The last time I exported dotted notes, it was ignored. I don't know if it's fixed now though. Arpeggios needs to be done in EoF, and chord notes techniques seems to export, slides, palm mutes, fret mutes and harmonics exports fine.

Hey I tried that and amazing work. I meant to feedback but I guess I forgot... but I found that the metronome track is low.. if you play you don't really hear it so can't be sure if you're on beat or not. Just a heads up! (unless it has already been fixed then nvm).

I was wondering what's hapenning with that issue? Is it gonna get fixed (soon)? There's a couple of song I'm restraining to chart because at least half of the song isn't in #/4 and it would be a huge pain to structure the thing by measure for DD and all when you have to use #/4 and mess with the bpm.

As I said, it doesn't matters on Rocksmith, I think you can even go higher than 24, but with graphical glitches, on any track. You can also use one of the bass tracks for a guitar arrangement, it does not matter. I was just explaining why there are 2 of each and why they were named this way.

EoF supports Rocksmith and also Rock Band 3 Pro guitar, on Rock Band 3 you have a 17 frets guitar and a 22 frets guitar, and songs with notes higher than 17 frets needed two charts, one for each guitar, however, on Rocksmith it doesn't matters at all, that's just more tracks to work with. In other words, it's just the name of the tracks. (Real bass, Real bass 22, Real guitar, Real guitar 22)

Almost anything from Unibroue (U Blonde, La Fin du Monde, Maudite, Blanche de Chambly mostly) Black Label (the plain old 5% one) Hoeggarden Guiness Aside of that, I'll drink pretty much anything except most of Labatt's stuff, especially the Buds (budweiser, Bud Light, etc), they taste like expensive water.

Do you have the latest version of the toolkit? The last version generates the showlight file.

Personally, I use GP5 to tab, and just export, and do the needed work in EoF (Syncing, and various techniques like trills, etc). It's kind of easy to fix an error if you keep a GP5 file only for EoF, as long as your GP5 file is accurate.

I doubt that the result would be playable, as (almost) every songs have a variable BPM, even if it's less than one, and it would throw things offsync, unless of course there's a way to auto-sync... If you're really talking about recording MIDI to a WAV (or WEM), well.. you need to have very good VSTs to make it sound good, and proper adjustment for each individual songs...

The BPM in your GP file does not affect the BPM of your EOF file. You need to sync your EOF project manually... Some songs are very easy to sync (they used a metronome and are very tight), some are a mess. The difference on each beat could be of 0.01 or 20bpm.

Tremolo strumming imports fine for me. Ghost notes also imports (though they are mostly used for arepggios)... unless this is something fairly new and those are now ignored?

D'après ce que j'ai compris tu dois utiliser le ''Tone Name'' (Pas le nom du tone mais bel et bien les choix dans ''Tone Name'', quand tu édit le tone) du toolkit dans EOF. Bref pour le seul CDLC que j'ai fait avec un tone change j'ai mis le tone de départ comme base et l'autre comme tone B, et tout fonctionne bien.

If you're going to make exercises psarc I suggest using a metronome track, maybe at 200bpm or less, so the user can set the speed in the riff repeater.

That's a nice idea, but I think the original charter should still have the last word. If someone wants to modify something on the chart, there should be a way to ask before doing so, to be sure everything's fine with the original charter. I would defenetly like getting help for tones, and possibly help from someone who has a good ear for those obscure songs where you never find a 100% accurate tab. Personally though if we're going to make a team (or teams), people should mention their strong point (aka either tabbing, syncing, tones, etc). Mine for example is using GP5 and syncing/making phrases/sections, and such. Not really good with tones :s

There's Phase Shift, and EOF supports that game. The thing is that it needs a MIDI guitar, kind of like Rock Band 3, unless you can find a way to translate the sound input in MIDI...
