  1. http://customsforge.com/topic/5577-tutorial-list is the topic to keep as a favorite.
  2. There's at least two tutorial dedicated to syncing pinned above.
  3. Part of what i was trying to say is that a higher OGG bitrate than 256 is useless since you won't hear the difference. If EOF can import directly from the CD (which is most of the time a WAV at 260-280Kb/s) using the 256kb/s already available in EOF is enough. We also have to keep in mind that the higher bitrate the bigger file you'll get in the end for a variation almost inaudible so using a higher bitrate than 256 is useless in many case. Don't know exactly what are the difference between each quality settings in wwise but getting too high is the same problem as ogg conversion in EOF, too high will make no audible difference and a bigger file. Listening to a file is not a test, you need to compare the information (looking at the waveform could be one but spotting a difference is hard) and minimize the impact of other components (the worst one being your ears!). not sure taking too much time investigating this worth the information you'll get in the end.
  4. Chords are just a composition of notes so once you look at the fretboard you see which chords are available to play and it works like a charm for me.
  5. You might want to recalibrate in RS, I don't have a lot of problem, it's not perfect, but I can easily stay in the middle if I want to.
  6. Sure you can't upscale but if you hear a difference between a CD and the rip MP3 of the CD, you can't hear any difference, it's the exact same file and burning the cd back from the ripped MP3 will still be the exact same file. if you hear a difference, it's not coming from the file but other components in the middle.
  7. MP3 is not a lossy format but OGG is. A MP3 above ~200Kb/s is good enough so using OGG (which is a lossless format) at 256Kb/s is good enough and allow you to limit the disk space used. Don't know about wwise quality level parameters but using 7 is fine enough (can't ear any difference) but definitely not uses 4. For those who hear a difference between CD (equivalent to a MP3 at approx. 280kb/s depending on the length of the songs) and 320kb/s MP3, take some time to do a real test and you will found out that the difference is not coming from the original file you're listening to but other components.
  8. I've posted an acoustic tone in the tone request thread (page 2) and please post your tone request there.
  9. @@papillon : You can find here some custom i started to pack with updtated tone name : https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B1ZKYtpB0vu2LUJqZUE4WFd0UFE&usp=sharing If some doesn't have DD and other do, it's perfectly normal. let me know if there's still any problem.
  10. So from what I understand, you play on mac and so you do the conversion yourself? It might explain why I don't encounter this problem on PC... If you add only one In Flames CDLC, do you still have the problem? I'll try to convert some myself and send it to you later today with the modified tone name to see if that's the problem.
  11. Knockin' on Heavens Door starting with the Rhythm part to know the chords is fairly easy and well known. Californication is not that hard and pretty interesting to play too and you need an electric only during the solo. Zombies from the Cramberries is really easy too and play really well on an acoustic. You can also take a look at all the Oasis songs.
  12. All my custom uses the same tone name (especially true for bass) and i never encounter any problem with this. Can you explain how and when the tone bug appear and why do you think this is related to the tone name?
  13. Added Ordinary Story (5 strings bass part available)
  14. Yeah that's exactly the same : http://youtubedoubler.com/ctMWCome on...
  15. You can do it in guitar pro then import it in EOF.
  16. Sync and add Guitar part on Gojira - To Sirius (still misses section/phrases, tone and some slides adjustement probably). https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B1ZKYtpB0vu2dkN1N20zWnVnNjA&usp=sharing
  17. Finished All for Me, Dead Alone and Jester's Dance. Sorry for the time it takes me but i'm quite busy at the moment and i'm trying to help on the tone request thread which takes a lot of time. Ordinary Story will be probably be up next week because i will have more time to work on it.
  18. did you bought Cherub Rock? If not and that you bought Run to the Hills, it might explain why it doesn't work with the Cherub Rock id.
  19. On the app, i don't know if you even can dl a tab (poor app) but on the website with a pc/mac, you can download it for free at ultimate guitar.
  20. I reported the bug about the double change at the same time that deactivate the tone but it's an EOF related issue and it happens to me only one time over 35 customs so...
  21. Got some pretty good score tooday with a little work. Lead part 93.31% streak 206 and 0 crosses! http://uppix.net/smiI6kl.jpg Rythm part 97.97% streak 209 (damn sure i can get this 98%!) http://uppix.net/Q53QtDl.jpg Bass part 99.11% streak 552 (not bad for a first play) http://uppix.net/BhSh1ml.jpg
  22. This bug shoudln't exist in new version of song since the toolkit was updated to prevent this bug to happen again. Keep in mind that the charter still have to update the toolkit which might not be always be the case.
  23. The Intel HD4000 graphics is not a proper graphic card but an integrated chip in the CPU, so it's pretty poor for gaming or for almost anything demanding some graphics power. And yeah RS use the onboard sound chip and doesn't use any sound card that you have in your PC. And the problem is probably coming from the graphic card or the CPU, probably the GC in this case since the GPU seems powerfull enough. If it was the sound part causing the issue, it wouldn't had any effect on the graphic part of the game.
  24. @@QOTSANINSOADKORN : Don't take it the wrong way and it wasn't directed on you but more to point how harsh i can be when i gave my feedback, you're not the worst charter here for sure, some never update their bad custom! And don't get me wrong, i really like the job you've done so far even if it might not be really obvious! It might seems like a douch move, but that wasn't my intention and i'm sorry if this upset you, i will gladly change the link or delete if you don't want to be point out.
