Hey Folks! It's been a while, and I haven't played much Rocksmith since I was last posting, but I'm gonna try to join in on this more regularly again. Here are some lead scores: Love me some Dean Town Hadn't heard this one in forever! Could probably get a bit better but this will do for now4 points

@ jasmith85 I didnt answer cause really i usually dont pay attention to my guitar settings :v but I do know, i personally set it up in rocksmith whenever i switch instruments (mostly when i switch gtr to bass) cause every guitar/bass has different gain levels and it usually doesnt work properly for me if i dont / it doesnt take that long so i dont mind. Also for some reason i notice that if it starts missing alot of hit notes usually a restart helps but that might be a placebo. I think i usually "callibrate it" at whatever gain level i have the guitar bass at that moment (i know its not supposed to be like that) but usually i leave space to go up and down probably like 7. That way if the guitar tone is too low i can usually just bump up the volume and it seems to detect the same/ i can hear myself ( i know i can change game settings volumes but this way is faster for me and doesnt seem to cause issues?). And usually on focusrite its also right before clipping /turning red, i dial it back a tad3 points

Well - i don´t think reducing the gain can in any way improve the detection in RS. It´s a bit away the other way around.... as active pickups have a higher output and there are also differences from HB to SC and P90s, and also from brand to brand i had the problem that when CALIBRATING THE VOLUME IN RS (you get the option at the tuning screen) with an active pickup, then when i used one of my guitars with passives i got the message that my guitars volume was very low .... so i calibrated with that one then - and ever since use that calibration with all guitars and vol and tone always at max. IF you are used to reduce the gain then go to the lowest you are used to and do a CALIBRATION WITH THAT SETTING. For myself volume and toneknobs are useless except for muting - the next guitar i am gonna build is gonna be completely pot-less, only a pickup-switch with the middle position is gonna be both pickus OFF. Pure unreduced outputs from the pickups and less less electronics (doesn´t matter cause that is like 2% of the building process and also fun, but hey) - i really wonder that guitar brands always use volume and toneknobs - any pot (and the ones used in guitars are quite the same used 70years ago) takes a way some output.... If i could just send someone to work instead of myself .... i´d start right monday morning and start to create a lovely 7-stringer .... that BM boybands have their A Std and alike tunings and i am not a fan of pitch shifting as i am not a fan of playing with headphones... sorry for the excourse .... i should really get back to Lordi now Rod.3 points

My guitar Is always on full but I will switch pickups for sound difference As for game sound config, I have It also full +10db I use an audio Interface so input on there is as high as I can get without clipping so 4 for guitar 6.5 for bass As for mods I have the turn up to 11 on so a +6db boost to the game sound and I think an extra 6db tone boost also. EVERYTHING LOUD RIGHT3 points

Hope you are all enjoying summer! Since this site is filled with musicians thought it would be neat to have a selection of songs that have been made by them. The idea came after playing snowshovels + djpavs cdlcs from their own bands I asked around discord and messaged some creators to fill in the gaps and i appreciate all of the people who helped me out/ responded! After looking around and testing cdlcs, theres tons of artists on here so I couldnt add them all for this week. I'll mention the ones i found incase anyone is interested to try new things out and feel share to let me know if i missed someone to add to the list! Alex pe, Alkehol, Bash Dell /emmy (says they have a song with 6 strings and might release?) depraved (played gigs with VDFANOU) E.E.V.I.E (Rachel826 s band) Ectronic (cool synthwave) Firekorn (featured in previous championship weeks) KyleAbent LMBECIL (spanish) Sway in the Garden RaiderG (has an accordion song that is memeable) Retrokr1ss -- If you have the standard version of the game you can also play Don't Stop by Crimson. She was a twitch streamer before and managed to get her song in the game. If you like paramore I think you'll enjoy the song. I can't confirm if upon infliction actually uses this site, but its the hardest song i could find (i was running out of time/ its getting late) The bonus lead masterclass song seems like its in Drop G so make sure to use a drop pedal if you have one. Mine broke so i couldnt test it but the song and the other one he has on the site sound good to me. Reminds me of beried alive mixed with DOOM / Loop Hero (Video Game Music) No idea how to rate kentucky fried rats since its so short and only 2 sections but i enjoyed it alot (biased cause i like kfc, rats, chromatic riffs lol) . I might change my own ratings later since i tested songs different days so i havent played them all in a row yet. As always let me know your own ratings to balance it out. Hope yall enjoy the week.2 points

Oh I didn't know they did walk the Egyptian!? I feel like that's a song everyone knows of but yea I had no clue who sang it. No wonder I was like hmm this sounds different to the ones who made video killed the radio star. Noticed that's the bUGgles not the BANgles. Always good to see your top 5s Have a blast at the concert!!2 points

Early submissions from me this week, got a call from a friend a few days ago saying he had a spare ticket to Black Sabbaths Back to the Beginning show on Saturday if I was up for it, you don't say no to something like that! Flying over to Birmingham tomorrow so less time to play this week but I think that's a valid enough excuse... Really interesting mix this week; I was actually most excited about The Bangles, definitely one of my (many) guilty pleasures! You all probably know the main ones but sure I'll leave some suggestions here anyway: 1. Walk Like An Egyptian 2. Manic Monday 3. Eternal Flame 4. Hazy Shade of Winter 5. Going Down to Liverpool Don't judge me for that "X", the first section surprised the hell out of me after waiting around for a while! Yeah, that last 1/5th was mental, Gary Moore is such an underrated guitarist, both his solo and his Thin Lizzy stuff are great. I'll add a mix of them below. 1. Over the Hills and Far Away - Solo 2. Cold Sweat - Thin Lizzy 3. Roisin Dubh - Thin Lizzy (pronounced Roe-sheen Doo in case any of you are wondering!) 4. Out In the Fields - Solo 5. Parisienne Walkways - Solo2 points

Random question, for you all. What are dial settings for your Guitar for Rocksmith. I know Rocksmith wants everything dialled up on your guitar to 11 but does everyone listen, especially when the volume knob is up to the max it just means more gain and I'm not 100% sure if Rocksmith sometimes can't pick things up?1 point

And Bass I'll give this a 6 instead of 5.5 though because that final part is really tricky (you have to read the chart quickly to hit the right frets).1 point
