  2. enjoyed this song the most had to play it twice cause i liked it so much lol. i think i should probably check the band out more cause i dont really know any of their songs except for have you ever seen the rain (one of my fav dlcs, which i guess is the prequel or sequel to this song) and fortunate son. usually cant stand long songs .. my mind just wanders off if its too long but this one wasnt bad. besides always fun to play some spArTon songs. i must say though..not a fan of how it was tabbed.. i prefer handshape modes over arp mode cause the lines under the notes always confuse me and makes me think its an open note...also some of the sustains make it a bit messy and hard to read imo but i still had fun. bass was neat very fun 2nd fav of the week. gives me some x y rush or jessica from the alman brother vibes mixed with phill collin ish vocals lol. doesnt seem to be that hard...theres just some of fretting choices that seem kinda unconventional at first glance since you play same notes in different strings in the same riff...but i guess with practice its doable.

  4. for sure one of the more difficult intermediate songs I have attempted! Will try to improve if can get some time with RR.
  5. Thanks for the input. Re: the DLC key, I played around with that, and it worked, but I had to delete the original PSARC as well... so maybe I wasn't editing the DLC key properly, but either way problem solved. Re: the errors, I'm not sure how to fix them, so left them for now, and nothing broke. Maybe I just need a little research to perfect it. E.g. "first phrase contains notes"... says that EOF usually fixes that automatically, but apparently not in this case. I actually have a (slightly) more accurate version as of now, thanks.
  6. You should also not ignore the errors DLC builder gives you. You can recheck issues as soon as you hit save and it'll re scan it. They're there to let you know something isn't right and should be changed/fixed.
  7. You should be able to play multiplayer using different inputs as long as you have the right inputs selected for each profile. If you don't already, you'd need the direct connect mode from RSMods.
  8. you have to change the dlc key, add extra numbers or letters that are unique, the game uses that to tell if a psarc is unique, so if you aren't changing that then you're just introducing copies that it is ignoring.
  9. Easing back In with Some beginner lead Nice beginner Bass Did better on this than In testing great song Great bass line again that gets progressively harder. would need a few plays . So I shall
  10. Good colleagues, I wanted to ask if you can play local multiplayer with a USB cable and a cable that enters through the auxiliary line

  12. This is a little off topic from your original question (and sorry if I'm posting in the wrong place - I usually don't engage on forums or social media in general, so way out of the loop on etiquette). However, I'm delving for the first time into the same kind of modifications you are talking about (adjusting incorrect notes, improving fretting for personal preference). Would love some advice on how to make this work. I got as far as importing a song through DLC Builder, and converting the audio file so that I could open the XML in EOF. From there, I was able to tweak the notes for more accuracy and save a new XML, but haven't been able to import that back into a .PSARC that Rocksmith will recognize. I swapped the new XML for the old, clicked "Build Release" in DLC Builder to create a new file (with some errors that I ignored, thinking they may have been remnants from the original file, maybe not though?), but the song won't come up in my list in the game. I could add another few pages with my questions and all the things I likely did wrong, but don't want to overburden you here if this isn't the right place. But in general looking for the right forum to get some specific advice without spending hours sorting through search results that don't quite answer my questions (3-4 hours in and nothing to show for it so far, lol). Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.
  13. Glad to see another Connecticuter on here! I would be interested in the answer here too.
  14. I'm not really sure if I'm posting the screenshots correctly, would appreciate any advice from experienced members. I posted these two together on Sunday, but they didn't seem to get picked up in the scoresheet even though later posts did. Should I be posting each screenshot as a separate post, or is there some other issue I'm overlooking? I'll be traveling away from the computer for the next two weeks and this is my last chance to fix any errors I may have made for this week's scores. And thanks to everyone for welcoming me to this great community, I'm having a blast... JS
