Afternoon,

Just wondering if we have any members on the Forum who have tinkered with creating hardware for audio manipulation. I'm currently thinking of making some basic analog footswitches and a Class-D amplifier and would really like some insight from anyone who has attempted anything like this in the past.

I'm currently digitising the circuit diagram of an idea and will upload when I have finished. A lot of forums on the internet give the circuit diagram but don't particularly explain what exactly is going on. And it would be great to understand the concepts, so that one can improve or modifier existing implementations.

Thanks, and have a wonderful day.

As an engineer myself I've been wanting to learn the science behind pedals and it other guitar gear and their inner workings, from an electrical and acoustic engineering perspective. The closest thing I could find on YouTube was some guy showing guitar pickup signals on an oscilloscope.

Please do update us with your findings.

I have enough knowledge in this area to be able to explain what's going on in a circuit if you have any to show but it's not the easiest area when it comes to electrical engineering (except amplification which is something commonly used in every day design if i can say it like that).
