Hello CustomsForge,

Altough the app is in it's early stages, I'd like to give my opinion for some features that I would like to have in such app.

 

1: An option to disable CDLC songs (The prog will move them to a folder of our choosing)

 

2: An option to edit the downloaded CDLC's info easily but keeping it up to date with the related song. (In the app's data it will stay remembered as the original file to keep it in sync but in RS it will match our named info)

 

3: An option (which I'm sure you are gonna include anyway) for meta data and difficulty and stuff like that.

 

I wish I can help with the coding but my spare time is limited. So wish you all the best

I think there should be a separate section for Bass only customs. It is such a disappointment to see a great song to find out it is Bass only.

I think there should be an option to search via 'tag' in the customs search options. ie. 'metal', 'blues', 'Christmas', 'guitarist name' etc.

You can already do that.  If you click on the gear icon beside the search box on the top of every page you can access all of the advanced search options.  So if you enter "metal, blues, christmas" in the "Find Tags" box, and then select "Submitted CDLC" in the "Find in forum" section you can search all of the submitted CDLC for those tags.

I'd like to be able to download a package of all songs by a specific artist or album. I realize with the current method of uploading songs (3rd party sites) that this would be difficult.

Is there a mod to recreate the “event format“ from the original Rocksmith for rs2014? and if there is not, could such a mod be created?  The event format helps keep me from wondering aimlessly.
