It's good that you write on your behalf. 😉
Until now, when we entered the scores manually, scores from failed Score Attack run were accepted. Rocksmith calculates the rest of the song (the one we didn't finish) at 0%, which significantly lowers the final score, so I don't think there's anything unfair here.
I just don't know what the OCR issue looks like in the case of reading such images.

Oh I didn't know that, sorry If I gave the wrong answer @ johnal , I was trying to help, and the issue didn't come up while working on the Score Assistant application (the OCR)

Anyway I need to look into the Score Assistant results and see if numbers are picked, but I'm grabbing and analyzing the failed runs, like you can see here below, so we can insert these manually with the interface, or through the sheet

    I will look into that

It's a tough call and there is that possibility for sure.   The counterpoint could be: I could also have run the song in "Learn a song" mode and just stop playing at the 60/70/whatever % mark and let it run to the end unplayed.   Like this:

    However, this run counts?

Yes but your total accuracy will be lower doing this
Instead, in the failed run, you get the accuracy of the portion you played

Thanks for the explanation, however, this was not always the case.   To me it seems like the percentage should stand.  Oh well, not a big deal.

This is my opinion, but you never finish the song if you fail the run on Score Attack. So essentially it's not fair against who has finished it (and could potentially have a lower accuracy because of that)

  4. For me the mc lead is a solid 9, maybe more (and I'd already played the song during one selection). I like the song.

I didn't understand pretty anything and I RR a lot the main riff, getting without errors at max 70% 😐

I don't know how a person could play it with such speed and precision, one of the most difficult this year without a big solo, but everything is so tight. Technique must be perfect

My hands were smoking at the end

    hi rodman,

seems like auto update in excel sheet is not happening with some SA entries! do I need to post again through another method or the automated system doesn't read SA accuracy yet?

Hi, SA score are read by the automated system, but sometimes OCR isn't complete or the download of the image failed so we need to manually approve the scores.

Hence the delay (and there is also some delay on auto approved scores, because the flow at the moment runs at different hours of the day). We will also look into your score to find out why it doesn't appear 🧐 😉

  6. Great song, the first In Flames. I remember when I was 16 and I brought to my teacher December Flower from the same album to teach me how to play it!
Anyway the In Flames period I prefer at all is Clayman album (2000), both powerful and more melodic than the first ones.

probably my final score but I think something more is achievable

  7. yay don't really have the time or the energy for the solo unfortunately, so red cross 😱 I don't know if I can get higher without the solo, the rest aren't big misses

    @ Rodman @ kayteck

What happened to the sheet used to automatically add scores?

Something has been changed there and it doesn't work as it should, there are no hints like before and you have to enter everything manually... 🤔

we are testing the new prototype of automatic score recognition (remember the OCR idea??). All the scores you see in the sheet were entered with that! We have planned to support also the classic manual entering. I'll leave more details to @ Rodman
