  1. In the "Packer/Unpacker" tab, use App ID Updater.
  2. Remastered needs DD to make a true score. If you play NDD songs in Remastered it will always give you 100%. The game freezing on the song menu I think is a missing Showlights file. Have a read of this http://customsforge.com/topic/37638-broken-customs-being-generated/ Good luck :D
  3. Why not try the free CustomsForge Song Manager? http://customsforge.com/topic/22341-customsforge-song-manager-cfsm-official-release/ Pretty sure that makes a database of all your cdlc so at least you have a comprehensive list, so if some cdlc goes missing then you will know. Or there is also this, tbh I'm not sure if they are the same thing http://customsforge.com/topic/12382-custom-game-toolkit-game-saves-gigbox/
  4. I believe that I am using the lastest EoF (eof1.8RC12 5-3-2017) and I can produce cyan at will: - Load the sample project - Select any beat - Use Push Offset Back (the more times you use POB, the more cyan lines you get) - Resnap chart - Hit undo POB looks to be knocking the notes off slightly, I don't know how much of a problem it is though. My normal workflow would deal with slightly off grid notes, plus I don;t use the highlight non grid snapped notes feature so I don't know how often (or if) notes are going slightly off grid in my own projects.
  5. I can only get cyan consistently after using the Push Offset Back. I cannot generate it, even with your save file, on loading EoF after a save (I re-snap before saving). I am only trying to help. I do have the Note Auto-Adjust setting switched on though, have you tried that?
  6. I have spoken about this issue a long, long time ago, although I did not articulate the problem similarly. I do not have "highlight non-grid snapped notes" option switched on in EoF because I would be looking at cyan graphs almost permanently. It's not the grid moving, it's the notes. It comes because (I think, I am sure raynebc can correct me) of difficult maths i.e. sums that require rounding. For example, you say that it never happens when you double the bpm. Because doubling something is mathematically easy and does not require rounding multiple decimal places. But when you go from 120 (the defaut number) to something like 145 then the multiplier is 1.20833333 which cause some of the notes to come off grid ever so slightly. I think it happens as soon as you change BPM, it's just that EoF seems to not be highlighting it straight away. There is possibly logic to why EoF takes a step or 3 before it realises notes are off grid and highlights them. To reproduce what I mean - Change BPM (with auto adjust notes) - Press Ctrl+A to highlight all notes - Hit Ctrl+Shift+R to re-snap all notes - Hit Ctrl+Z to make EoF "undo" - Notes will now be highlighted cyan The moral of the story is that when you change BPM (especially when you are actually changing individual beats to beat map the song) then notes come off grid. It is good practice to selct all the notes and re-snap them again manually at regular intervals. I always re-snap all arrangements (including tech notes) before saving an EoF project. Even if I plan to come back to the project and work some more on it later (i.e. it not "finished" yet), I always re-snap before saving. To re-cap, the commands that will solve your issue - Ctrl+A to highlight all notes - Ctrl+Shift+R to re-snap Enjoy :D
  7. Thanks cozy you're a boss :D I only tested quickly, I cannot go into the game just now. Using the latest beta build (rstoolkit-2.8.2.0-06d59ced) I could build a custom from the files I provided above no problem. I did not have to put the Rhythm arrangement first as I did before, and the showlights file appeared, the .psarc appeared and there were no error messages. I am making a new custom today and I look forward to seeing these amazing new showlights effects in game. I shall report how this goes. Thanks again :D
  8. Hi, using the Latest test build - 2.8.2.0 (rev 3c7d4efa), and putting the bass arrangement first (from the files I supplied) I get https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B2oZs0ta32KyQUs4Rl9yckY5aFE/view?usp=sharing Here is the log https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B2oZs0ta32KyYVZNUFBwR2VrM1E/view?usp=sharing It generates this error message whether I use the XMLs with DD already, the XMLs with no DD and asking the Toolkit to generate DD, and also using non DD XMLs and asking for a non DD custom (Auto-Generate DD box not checked). There is something about that bass XML that the toolkit does not like. I would appreciate finding out what so i can avoid it the issue in the future. I built the custom like all of my other custom. I added the sections/phrases just like I have with 100s of other customs in EoF. I do not know what I did wrong :( Thanks :D
  9. Hi, I have come across a problem. The problem is that I can build a .psarc that crashes the game. In the song menu if you select the broken .psarc the game freezes and you need to kill the Rocksmith .exe to clear it. Then reload the game. The .psarc appears to be broken because it is missing a showlights file. The Toolkit does not warn when this happens, everything looks liked it worked. Here are some files https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B2oZs0ta32KyN0s0bEhOREdmT0U/view?usp=sharing imanishi discovered the missing showlights issue and noted that one must put the arrangements into the toolkit in a certain or (Rhythm first) for the Toolkit to generate a showlights file and the custom to eventually work. I have now successfully built a working custom using this method (Rhythm first). In fact, I have built 3 working customs as I continued to test and revise the actual guitar tabs. I have used a few different Toolkits, I believe that the problem will still be there in the newest version unless this problem has already been noted and resolved. I apologise if I am behind the times. Thank you for your time and expertise :D
  10. Indeed, I did actually manage to build a couple of working .psarcs during my testing, but I did not record the order I added the arrangements. The working .psarcs likely had Rhythm as the primary arrangement, as you say. Thanks for having a look :D I should find some time to test further later this evening. ---------------------------- And sorry for hogging the EoF thread with this, I did originally think the problem came from the EoF stage of development. I'll transfer to a Toolkit thread for this in the future.
  11. Well as it happens the problem is coming from (I believe) the stuff I ripped off from your custom of the recorded version :D The bass and vocals play fine, I think there is something in the chords I copied from your custom that is causing the issue. I was thinking FHPs or chord fingering. I was also thinking it may be related to Rocksmith Import because I unpacked your custom and stole the chords basically :D I was testing for ages last night, making many builds and loading the game up to try things out, and I gve up. I was hoping for a descerning eye to cast over the XMLs quickly to see if they could spot any glaring flaws that I can't see. I'll have another bash at fixing it later, I'll probably start with erasing all fingering from the chords.
  12. Double post ftw :) Alas it was not FHP causing my problem. The following project files will show that the arrangements I think are causing the problems do not contain FHPs. Something about the included XMLs are crashing RS https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B2oZs0ta32KyZHpGZHltcy0tVEk/view?usp=sharing I just don't know what. I build the custom with bass and vocals and it works. I include Rhythm or Lead and the custom plays the intro music, but as soon as you press "go" it fails and locks the game up. Any help would be great :D EoF v1.8RC12 4/17/2017 Toolkit rstoolkit-2.8.2.0-69be634f-win
  13. How does one remove existing FHPs? To let EoF auto generate them again on saving?
  14. How does it show up in the game menu, just as a normal track? What I mean is that DLC has the pink DLC tag on it, RS1 songs have the black RS1 tag. I suppose there will be no tag using the game App ID... It will likely change some of the ordering too, depending on how you order the list.
  15. There are a tonne of CDLCs on here by people who only make 1 or 2 customs, don't test them properly and release them. Hence there are many broken CDLCs that will crash your game. The best thing to do is download the free Custom Song Manager app and try to repair them. At the least it will highlight broken CDLC and you can remove them without the trial and error. As for using the App ID 221680, if it works go for it. As long as (for site rules reasons) you are using the official version of the game I can't see a problem. The reason the Cherub Rock App ID was used is that, if you cast your mind back, that particular "DLC" was given away free with the game when it first came out (and for months after), so everyone had it anyway. I bet Smashing Pumpkins are delighted with this, they must be rolling in licensing cash with all the extra purchases of the song by people solely to use CDLC
  16. Admin turned off the link to his CDLC because it contains tracks that are now official CDLC tracks.
  17. So it wasn't Looney that turned off the link, it was admin... I am happy to adopt Looney's non official CDLC tracks, and I am trying to make that happen.
  18. Nice one, I knew he'd left it somewhere. Don;t know what happend to the link in his sig, that's where I used to find it. Glad you got sorted :D
  19. There is confision going on. Commas have always worked. In the screenshot I provided not a few posts above, the comma is present and I used the normal EoF vocals output.
  20. Yeah, Looney left the CLDC scene quite a while ago. He did leave a working dropbox folder with all his customs in, but that does seem to be non existant now. I am not a huge Radiohead fan so I did not download them. It would be within the rules of the site for someone to re-upload the customs and "adopt" them (for non official songs), so hopefully someone who has them steps up.
  21. Looney has been gone for a while. He did leave a working dropbox with all his customs in, but that does seem to be inactive now. I only downloaded the main songs, which are now official DLC, so it would break rules to post them. Hopefully someone with the non-official songs can re-up them.
  22. A lot fo customs don't like being converted to ps3 format. In fact, you need to convert them on a pc and its pretty complicated. A lot more complicated than forking out $10 on the pc version :D
  23. If the extended ascii export option is switched on then the output should be raw with no changes, and if the option is off then sub all non working characters for non accented versions. That would be peachy I suppose :D
  24. Well I feel a little silly now. The latest toolkit is not doing it. I was on a different pc earlier and I checked it twice before posting. Must have been something to do with the specific pc. Sorry :D
