  1. I just got back on here and started making CDLC again after about a year off. I noticed my song "Chasing Dreams" by Miss Fortune was taken down because the download link was broken. I don't think I ever changed the download link, but regardless, is there any way to revive this DLC post since I have a working link now? I know I can just post it again but I liked seeing how many people had download it and seeing everyone's comments and everything else. Any way this CDLC can be brought back from the dead? Thanks in advance!
  2. Happy Birthday TheAnswer989!

  4. I think I had the same troubles as you. Check out my post and the responses: http://customsforge.com/topic/9152-help-with-creating-sections-in-riff-repeater/?do=findComment&comment=69385
  5. I know it is kind of a loss to not have that predicted mastery when you are starting out, but trust me, once you play a lot and get better at guitar you'll want to turn your mastery up to 100% for every song you play anyways. I haven't used Dynamic Difficulty since the first Rocksmith game. So while it might be a little bit of a loss now, you won't even care about Dynamic Difficulty soon enough. :)
  6. Sounds excellent! Since the "DLC Name" doesn't matter, is there perhaps a way that the toolkit could be modified to just name it automatically? It could even take away the option to insert a "DLC Name" at all and it just automatically makes it something random like "adsjf4i5we5j3134aj6ejladsk." This way there won't even be a chance for there to be any duplicate "DLC Names."
  7. Can we go in depth on what to do when two songs are named the same? For example, there is a "Wish You Were Here" by Pink Floyd and a "Wish You Were Here" by Avril Lavigne. There is also another version of "Wish You Were Here" by Pink Floyd (user Plum's Version). http://thumbnails112.imagebam.com/34442/b4aa2f344412402.jpg In the image (make sure to click on it until it goes fullscreen), I've used the "Import Package" function in the Rocksmith Toolkit on all three customs. Avril Lavigne is on the left, Pink Floyd is in the middle, and Pink Floyd Plum's Version is on the right. From my understanding, as long as the "DLC Name" (the red arrows in the picture) are different, the songs can show up in Rocksmith together. That is why Avril Lavigne and Pink Floyd do not show up together, but why Plum smartly changed the "DLC Name" in his version so that it can show up. Now, in order to fix the Avril Lavigne and Pink Floyd version, do I just change the "DLC Name" for either one of the customs and then click "Generate?" (I actually remember trying this a long time ago on a couple of songs and I ended up losing most of those song's notes when I played it in Rocksmith. Not sure what I did wrong.) Could I also just change the APP ID of one of the customs so that they have different APP IDs? Also, I really think we need to have a system so that this doesn't happen in the future. For example, there are 3 different versions of Metallica's "For Whom The Bell Tolls" and there are many examples of people posting a different version of the same song because they believe they have made a better custom or they use different tabs. We need to have a system in place that makes sure whoever uploads a custom is aware of all this so that all customs can coexist peacefully in Rocksmith.
  8. You can also check the database to see if someone has uploaded a song by the band or artist before to see any differences. For example, I've always spelled it "blink-182" but I noticed that all the uploaded customs (and official DLC) had spelled it "Blink 182," so that's how I spelled any customs I made by them.
  9. All right, thanks a lot for the help everyone! I knew I wasn't syncing my customs the correct way in EOF, but I never tried to learn the proper method. This definitely convinced me to!
  10. I've done this. I always delete the tab's section markers and create my own. Still doesn't work.
  11. This is exactly what I've done on all my customs. It still doesn't work properly.
  12. User TimeIsFading suggested using Dynamic Difficulty Creator (DDC) on my custom song, and it was successfully able to place sections into the song. However, I know I've been able to create my own sections before without the use of DDC.
  13. Can anyone tell me why my sections are not working in Riff Repeater? They worked perfectly for two other customs I made (John Mayer "Edge of Desire" and Brand New "The Quiet Things That No One Ever Knows"), but they haven't been working for my newer customs, like Blink 182 "Up All Night." I've uploaded my entire "Up All Night" folder here:https://www.dropbox.com/sh/u058vanu2swbbqt/AACYFy_UHjPNMZCMYqluELvFa It has the EOF files and anything else you'll need. You can also use the "Import Package" function in the Rocksmith Toolkit on one of my newer customs. Here is a video of what happens: http://youtu.be/_fRUmTagiEI Notice how Riff Repeater will only skip around or just select a bunch of sections at once.
  14. kobie83, that's my video and custom song. Here is the custom inlay I'm using: https://www.dropbox.com/s/5ex91p91kktmdt5/Guitar%20Notes_p.psarc Just put that .psarc file into your dlc folder. Then in Rocksmith press Ctrl and go to "Change Inlay." Change your inlay to "Guitar Notes." You can read more about it here: http://customsforge.com/topic/5236-custom-inlays/?hl=%2Bcustom+%2Binlays
  15. I've been looking for something like this for the longest time! Thanks soooo much for sharing!
