Hi, I got a little problem. This happens when i play non-stop playmode. When i accomplish a "play a new song mission", the message "mission accomplished" appeared, but i play start and nothing happens. So the game plays the next song but the message stays on the screen. I can press escape and goes to the main menu but i have to restart the game to get rid of the message. If anyone has a solution, i'm happy to hear any ideas. You're right. And what it's funny is that grunge had to undo what hair-metal did to rock to access the charts. Every new genre is a reaction to the one in place. Hip-hop, like all the genres before them, uses past music to make his own. So it brought something fresh, using old music, like all new genres before. But it's true that a lot of actual music has evolve because of hip-hop. Just for example, the black Keys have a more bassy sound, it has influence metal in this nu-metal thing (though it was 10 years ago). And its influence is bigger in pop music. Compare the mix in a 90s big single like Wet Wet Wet "love is all around" and now, any coldplay song. The bass and drumkick are in front of the rest in the mix. What it's strange is they're not saying it saves the music, but it saves the charts. And for me, people will always buy or stream or listen to music, whatever it is. And i call for more drug in university. :D

Thanks for the tutorial. It works great for the cache file. But i can't make it work with the rs1compatibility file. All the songs from that file disappear, even those i want to keep. It doesn't really matter. I'm gonna wait for the song remover tool. Thanks again.

I would love to do more of The Flatliners customs, but it's kind of hard to find good tabs or videos. I'm planning to do count your bruises, but only if i find good tabs. But no luck for now. This guy reads from a card is cool, I didn't know this one. And i don't think i will do Tail feathers. Good song but not my favourite. The next one planned will be Sew my mouth shut i think.

Great info about google drive. I only have 2,5 gb (and it's full) with my free dropbox account and the only way to upgrade it is by partnership. You win 0,5 gb everytime you invite someone to create an account. Google drive, here i come.

I don't know how to play cello, but I don't think it's very complicated, only long notes. Since new charters doing some blink customs (really thanks to them), i'm updating all my blink customs. I will change the "blink 182" to "blink-182" in here and in the game. And correct some tones, volumes, notes and all i can see. If you have any ideas of something to correct, don't hesitate.

I'm on holiday till the end of the week, so i can't help you with that project. But that's really great what you're doing. Hope to see some good videos of this event. All my customs are made without DD, so i will not propose any titles. I don't think it can be interesting for beginners. That can be fun to see a band perform his own songs with rocksmith.

I had some parties with rocksmith. I have 2 bassists and 2 guitarists friends who like to play with rocksmith too. We spent some nights taking turns on bass and guitars. Playing all night with the ladies on vocals. It's very cool they add the microphone. A second one could be cool. Some fun nights. The little problem is that i'm the only lefty so you have to go back to the menu everytime you have to change it. Same problem if someone wants the high E string on top or the opposite. We even try to play rocksmith with a drummer. Cuting the sound of the tv and going into amps. That was a nightmare. Everytime the drummer speed the tempo, you can't follow the charts on the tv. A mess.

Thanks. I use the second solution and it works great. I've downloaded other RB files. I'll see if i can create new customs with it.

If only we can have a workshop section for all the work-in-progress customs. ;) I think this problem will never go away, because there will always be new charters, and we need new charters. But you can't ask for beginners to do a great job on their first customs. In fact i think the quality of the customs are better now than a few months ago. With all the info and the quality of the tools now, i think it's easier for beginners now. The only think that can solve this problem is time and knowledge. People should spend more time on their customs. Charters should play their customs a few times before posting it for all the possible mistakes you all noted. And you need to understand the tools and your instrument because GP files are not a sure thing. We all have differents ideas of what is a good custom. Here i talk about perfect sync, chords, tones and others just want it not to crash.

I was not clear, i don't want to play the song in Rockband, i just wanted the midi files of the song with the notes positions to update the bass chart of the rocksmith cdlc. So i found the file, uploaded it in EOF, it fits perfectly. Now i have to find what's notes he's playing. Like you say, i don't see any reason to play to rockband again, maybe for the drums... If only the drum pads could be used as midi pads to record real music. Merci beaucoup.

I see that this song is an official rockband dlc, so i would try to use it to have the exact notes position. So where can i find this song? Do i need to buy, and if so, can i buy it without having the game?
