  1. Note, I also have an XB360 and PS3. Jailbreaking the XB360 seemed over my head, but I haven't looked at what it would take to JB the PS3. Might be worth it to try on the PS3, since it's just sitting on a shelf doing nothing.
  2. For the moment, I have RS2014 working on my (Intel) Mac using Parallels 20. I'm using the RS cable (ick) and haven't set up CDLC support yet, but I can at least get my RS fix. Surprisingly, the frame rate seems pretty good, using default Medium settings at 1440p (RX5700XT video card via TB3). Of course, using the RS cable gives about 1/4s lag, which grates on my nerves, but hoping I can get my USB Audiobox supported on Windows like it is on Mac RS2014. I notice that RS+ has a version for iOS, so I might try getting that on my iPad and mirroring it to my TV. Hopefully with a USB-C hub I can get a proper audio interface and wired TV out (methinks airplay to my TV would induce too much lag, but I haven't tried).
  3. porting kit? what is that? is that something we could use?
  4. Please don't make me install Windows to get my CDLC back
  5. Request: "Taste the Pain" from RHCP on their album "Mother's Milk".
  6. It was Privacy > Microphone, but that did it! Thank you so much!
  7. Anyone know what it means when your playing isn't recognized? I see the input levels from my guitar working fine with System Preferences > Sound > Input > Rocksmith USB Guitar Adapter, but inside the game, it never thinks I am playing anything. This just started a couple of weeks ago. I'm on Catalina. DLC load fine.
  8. Awesome find! Half my reason for needing Windows is to convert PC CDLC to Mac. Now if it could add DD, I could ditch Windows altogether! I like all mine to have DD, so here's some more script-fu: Convert all DD-enabled PC CDLC to Mac and move to the proper dlc folder (my CDLC's tend to collect in ~/Downloads until they are ready): $ cd ~/Downloads # or wherever you have your PC CDLC $ find . -name \*_DD_p* | xargs -n 1 pyrocksmith --convert # convert all to Mac $ mv *_DD_m* ~/Library/Application\ Support/Steam/steamapps/common/Rocksmith2014/dlc Strip out the extra characters that confuse RS2014: $ cd ~/Library/Application\ Support/Steam/steamapps/common/Rocksmith2014/dlc $ for a in *[A-Z-]*; do b=$(echo $a | sed -e 's,-,_,g' -e 's,_v[0-9_]*\(_DD\)*_m,_m,g' | tr -cs "[:alnum:]" _ | tr "[:upper:]" "[:lower:]" | sed -e 's,_psarc_$,.psarc,g'); mv -v "$a" "$b"; done
  9. My experience with RS2014 on Mac is that it often fails to recognize CDLC with long and crazy filenames. I shorten each one and remove the apostrophes and dashes, etc. so that RS won't crash. I think leaving those in actually do hurt. YMMV.
  10. would LOVE to! what do i do?
  11. I'm on Catalina and the Rocksmith Launcher doesn't... launch. Anything I can do to help? there's no screenshot since there's no launch.
