  1. Bored To Death has only two sections :( looking for another one
  2. I agree, it's really hard week for Int and Adv, maybe I've underrated them just played Beg-Int-Adv http://up.picr.de/28300269gu.jpg Beg - this one goes shortly out of sync a bit at the arpeggios, apart from that it's easily 100%able, so that dif 2 is ok http://up.picr.de/28300315hk.jpg Int - It's a quite fun track, not 100% charted but good enough I think. But it's harder than 5, more 6 or 6-7, so this should be the Advanced http://up.picr.de/28300385kl.jpg Adv - also underrated this one, 6 is definitely not enough. I would rate it maybe 2 points higher. Then this would be the MC. My suggestion is to choose another Int for Lead, remove the Led Zeppelin track from this week and put it to the SSL for another week (we need good MC songs, but Int as well). A good Intermediate for this week would be Blink 182 - Bored To Death chosen by hughmonty with Lead 4, just saw the playthrough vid, looked good. So should we switch?
  3. depends on the song/ tech.... if just strumming you have to mute the string... but you also can fingerpick or combined plec and finger.... then of course you can don't hit!
  4. The Go-Go's bass path needed any fixes notewise, so I just repaired the chart and custom for this weeks CS. Also the reamstered bugs (100% and Chord repeating issue) are fixed with the v1.1 I've posted at the comments at the record page. Look for my link if you want to play a clean version. The Song Selection List desperately needs more entries. Everyone can put in up to 4 songs (incl GOG). Try to fill in difficult levels as you can judge. Every song should have RR, one guitar path and bass if the song contains it in the audio.
  5. this week is finished, new week started, here we go

  7. Bad Brains first runs without RR anything http://up.picr.de/28238606zv.jpgthe bass is better playable with a pick, so I didhttp://up.picr.de/28238607ow.jpg
  8. slow down your solo in RR until you can play it clean. All scales and arps will help you if you practice them slow enough first. Speed should be handled just as by-product of accuracy. You should keep an eye on your technics like proper alternate picking/ economy picking... and of course your timing
  9. practicing and practicing, take it slow and listen closely. I don't know your actual skill and what kind of solos you'd like to be able to play.... only a few tips won't help you much. If you take it serious you should look for a proper teacher and take regular lessons, that would be the best tip I can give. RS itself is a lousy teacher.
  10. but the 23th fret doesn't count anyhow since the latest update
  11. I think you mean those unisono bends in the solo.... that's an issue since the update, they're both bended now, that's impossible to play and sounds bad... only the lower should be bended. I've reported it to Plum
  12. http://up.picr.de/28197120jv.jpg something is wrong since the update.... in the solo the unisono bend isn't unisono anymore, both are bended now :( I should report this http://up.picr.de/28197121ar.jpg slightly better here and as I wanted to play Jump in the fire I realised that I have another version of the song, still the one from last time we played it, this has another cover
  13. I already said it's a not straightforward way, but it should work. I guess instead doing something with the xml file for noncharters the easier way would be just screenshot all tone settings in game and share them, so everyone could rebuild the tone in the tonedesigner directly.
  14. a way to use those tones in RS would be just import any cdlc in the TK, use the tone there, recreate the cdlc and save it to your cdlc folder. Then load RS, open the Sound Creation thing, load this one cdlc's tone you put in and save it as your own. Then you can delete this cdlc, it was just your tone transporter. Not a really straightforward way, but it should work.
  15. as promised the new challenge with the B-Minor-Blues is complete. See details in the OP and the record page. enjoy!!!
  16. starting the week with bass without practise first if I know the songs http://up.picr.de/28160272hh.jpgsecond run, at the first I forgot the screenshot....needs some RR again, esp the solothe notes at 23th fret don't count in this version :( , I guess Plum made this for the less than 22 fretters bassists. http://up.picr.de/28160202pi.jpg at the first run I was confused by the wrong chord informations (all wrong). And cannot play with this crappy tone, use annother one, then it's a good one.
  17. It is asked for years. Just fill in 3
  18. @@ZagatoZee, I know you mean it well, but remember a few weeks ago when suddenly admins and mods of the site posted comments here at the crc private area, a members only corner. It was the time when any members went away from here, since those days this place became very quiet. I thought Avdocatwork made it clear that if you like to post comments here you have to ask for an invitation, as full member of the crc you can post here as many you want. I cannot find you in the members list, so please accept our little rule, you also expect we accept the rules as well.
  19. done - The Cult-Outlaw fixed version look in the comments for the link
  20. that's what I thought while testing the songs for the week. I'll upload my "fixed" version and link it to the record page
  21. and another bass night http://up.picr.de/28111784fl.jpgthis lines are so great to play, love it. It's still a 6 or maybe 5http://up.picr.de/28111785eh.jpgVery straight. 4 is ok because the shiftingshttp://up.picr.de/28111786he.jpg3-4
  22. the 3rd link seems private, can't see Fixed now? https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B49Qq-EFnmrKaW9QZmVNSVBlMlk/view?usp=sharing yep
  23. yea, I was not sure about the difficult level. First I thought it's a 10, GOG piece, but the solos are manageable and the tapping/bending combination needs some practise, but it's also doable, so I ended up with a strong 9.
  24. actually working on the Minor Blues. This takes much more time since I'm recording the audio all by myself (and mixing of course). But the audio is complete, now I need to transcribe everything except the drums, already started with it. This time we get a real audio track with drums, bass, rhythm guitar which is our blues comping 7 and a lead guitar which plays solo all the time, I just improvised this. If any no lead and no bass cdlcs are wished for let me know, that shouldn't be a problem.
