Holy shit, what a great show last night! Even when confined to a throne Dave can still rock harder than most people. The show was almost 3 hours long (blowing past the local curfew here) and was a really good set. The Molson Amphitheatre is a pain in the ass to get in and out of, but the acoustics there are the best of any venue I've ever been to. They did a great 3/4 length cover of Tom Sawyer (Geddy Lee's mother was at the show) as well as a cover of Neil Young's Cinnamon Girl. They also did some other covers that are part of the regular setlist and played This Is A Call, which was great. This was the 5th time I've seen them, and they never disappoint :) I've only seen them once. in fact it was the Wasting Light tour, they also played This Is a Call. I saw Dave behind the drums when he was touring with Them Crooked Vultures and he was a beast. Never thought i'd seen him behind a kit again, or see a member of Zeppelin, hopefully they'll make a 2nd record soon. Dave was really lucky he only broke his leg in that fall. I was watching an interview with a Nameless Ghoul from Ghost (Who opened for them and Dave produced an EP of theirs as well played drums and guitar on a few tracks and supposedly dressed up as a Nameless Ghoul for a few shows) who said it was a pretty hard fall and he heard it from the crafts service table back stage. Anyway, Dave's a trooper and will always be a ball of energy, seated or not. :D

This one was easier than the first one, i had to have a luthier cut the body out the first time. This time i used a company called Two Cherries Instruments who sell Mattocaster bodies unfinished for about $175. The neck is from Warmoth. Overall it's gonna cost me the same if i got a cort from Manson's and had a Sustainiac put in. Plus i'll have Gotoh tuners over Cort's tuners, which i'm sure will be a little difference. :)

Glitterati's gonna be a brother! ;) I decided to build another replica since i was told by Cort that they were unsure if they would make a left handed version of their Mattocaster. It's gonna be a Stealth, everything will be black, tuners, pickups, knobs, hell even the screws. :lol: I absolutely love the Birdseye Maple Neck i got, it's simply stunning. I started work about 3 months ago and was hoping to have it done by the time Drones came out, that didn't work out too well. :lol: I plan on installing a Sustainiac over a Fernandes Sustainer, people i;ve talked to tell me the Fernandes has a lot of issues and i've never played one, so i took their feedback into consideration. I did get a chance to play a sustainiac at a Guitar Center in a Schecter guitar and it was pretty amazing. Latest version of Wwise that will work with Rocksmith?

@Shiroo, I'll update Mercy here soon. The tab book comes out July 24th, not June 30th like everyone thought, then i'll update Mercy and all the other Drones tracks I've done that way they're spot on. :D Which tones from MK Ultra need tweaking? Also, what are we gonna do about Uprising? ;)

Hey all, small update. My old PC seems to finally ready to retire. Making customs on that got to be more of a chore the last month or so, it's 5 years old and had a good run. So i recently bought my buddy's 2009 Macbook Pro for a very good price and boot camped it and installed Windows 7 on it. Right now i'm transfering all my EoF files and GPA files and fresh installs of all the necessary programs to make CDLC. Hell, i might even start playing on PC :P It should be done by weekend's end and i can start making customs again, maybe a little faster now that my computer won't freeze for 15 minutes every now and then :lol: Cheers, Brooklyn

Yeah, they're playing 3 nights in a row in August in my neck of the woods. I'm going one night, maybe 2, probably not all 3 though. :P :D :lol: Edit: they're playing 2 nights. when i googled it the 3rd night says August 18th at 1:01 a.m. not sure why. I'm going the 1st night, maybe 2nd. :D

@cdes, for me personally, i much rather start from scratch than finish someone else's work. I have have all the album songbooks, most from @Wepeel and the rest i found online. Maybe someone else would like to take them and make them their own. :D

Updates for Black Treacle and Brick by Brick are now available. It also should be noted that these are most likely the final updates for these songs. Barring any tab issues, I feel like they're the best versions of the songs and quality wise, they can't get much better than they are right now. :D
