Random misses everywhere. I really need to tighten up my playing. But with all the dist i cant even hear what i am doing wrong. There is no "easy" way to fix the lag in songs. And you cant use any other usb cables than the real tone cable.

Never hear about the patcher before. I never needed it. There is 2 different D3DX9_42.dll on the page i linked to. try them both. (one at a time) without the patcher. And check that steam actually re-downloaded cherub rock.

My goal with Hotel California was to be able to handle the chords and the strumming. And by the looks of my streak, ill say i did good. So I'm happy with the results as it is.
